STATCOM을 이용한 교류 전기철도 급전시스템의 전압강하 보상 (Compensate Voltage Drop for Autotransformer-Fed AC Electric Railroad System with Single-Phase STATCOM)

  • 본 논문에서는 정전류 부하모델 교류 전기철도 AT 급전시스템을 회로망 해석법(Loop Equation Method)을 이용하여 실제 급전시스템과 유사하게 제약조건을 두고 여러 경우를 가정하여 모델링 하였다. 이 방법을 통해 앞으로 건설될 고속 전기철도 급전시스템의 전력품질에 영향을 줄 수 있는 전압강하에 주안점을 두고 정상급전의 경우뿐만 아니라 연장급전의 경우를 새롭게 확대 해석하였으며 이 결과를 동적 시뮬레이션 프로그램인 PSCAD /EMTDC를 이용하여 그 정확성과 실용성을 검증하였다. 또한 사례연구를 통해 전압 보상기를 설치하지 않는 경우와 STATCOM을 설치한 경우의 전압강하 보상효과를 PSCAD/EMTDC로 시뮬레이션 하여 검증하였다.

  • We developed a Off-Line Graphic Simulator which can simulate a robot model in 3D graphics space in Windows 95 version. 4 axes SCARA robot was adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed program. The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Windows 95's graphic user interface environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D graphics.

Laser Welding Application in Car Body Manufacturing

  • Laser welding application for car body manufacturing has many advantages in the stiffness and the lightness of vehicle, the productivity of assembly line, and the degree of freedom in design. This presentation will express the innovation of car body manufacturing including parameter optimization, process modeling, and system integration. In this application the investment for systems was cut down dramatically by real time switching over the laser path between two welding stations. Points of technical discussion are as follows; optimization of parameters such as laser power, robot speed and trajectory, compact and useful design of jig & fixture to assure welding quality for 3 sheet-layer zinc-coated steel, system integration between 4㎾ Nd:YAG laser device and the other systems, on-line real time welding quality monitoring system, perfect safety standards for high power laser, minimization of consumption costs such as arc lamp, protective glass for optic, etc. This application was successfully launched mass production line in 2001. The laser-welded line of side panel consists of 122 stitches totally. And the length is about 2.4m.

  • 도시유역의 유출분석을 위하여 국내에서 많이 사용하고 있는 모형들로는 ILLUDAS, SWMM이 대표적이라고 할 수 있다. 그러나 국내의 대부분의 도시하천의 경우 합류식의 배수계통을 가지고 있어, 홍수시에 하수관거용량을 초과하는 우수량은 하천을 통해 배수가 되고 있다. 이러한 배수계통을 갖는 하천에 대하여 대상유역의 배수관망 자료 부족과 Modeling의 어려움으로 인해 도시유출모형이 아닌 HEC-HMS모형과 같은 유역추적법을 통해 유출분석이 이루어지고 있다. 또한 기존 논문에서 제시한 도시유출모형에 하도추적을 결합한 강우-유출 모의는 정확성 결여 및 번거로운 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 보다 안정적인 해석 모형인 MIKE SWMM 모형을 사용하여 과거 침수자료와 DEM 자료 및 수치 배수관망 자료를 통한 유역 및 배수관망 자료를 구축하고 유역에 대해서는 Runoff Block을 사용하고, 하수관거와 본류에 대해서는 Dynamic 방정식을 이용한 Extran Block을 적용하여 유출분석을 실시하고 그 결과를 기존의 방법들과 비교하여 각각의 장단점 및 적용성을 밝히고 개선방향등을 제시하고자 하였다.

A study for production simulation model generation system based on data model at a shipyard

  • Simulation technology is a type of shipbuilding product lifecycle management solution used to support production planning or decision-making. Normally, most shipbuilding processes are consisted of job shop production, and the modeling and simulation require professional skills and experience on shipbuilding. For these reasons, many shipbuilding companies have difficulties adapting simulation systems, regardless of the necessity for the technology. In this paper, the data model for shipyard production simulation model generation was defined by analyzing the iterative simulation modeling procedure. The shipyard production simulation data model defined in this study contains the information necessary for the conventional simulation modeling procedure and can serve as a basis for simulation model generation. The efficacy of the developed system was validated by applying it to the simulation model generation of the panel block production line. By implementing the initial simulation model generation process, which was performed in the past with a simulation modeler, the proposed system substantially reduced the modeling time. In addition, by reducing the difficulties posed by different modeler-dependent generation methods, the proposed system makes the standardization of the simulation model quality possible.

불안정한 공정에 대한 온라인 공정 확인 및 자동 조절 (On-line process identification and autotuning for unstable processes)

  • In this paper, we first analyze the structural limitation of the conventional PID controller in controlling unstable processes through mathematical proof. To overcome this structural limitation, we add an internal feedback loop to the PID controller. Secondly, we obtain conditions when unstable processes can be stabilized by a controller through an analytical analysis. Finally, we propose a simple on-line process identification and autotuning method for unstable processes. Many simulation results show that, in spite of its simplicity, the proposed on-line process identification method provides good accuracy in modeling the unstable process and acceptable robustness to measurement noises and disturbances. Also, the proposed autotuner shows good control performances for both servo and regulatory problems.

  • In this paper, A technique for detecting contact loss at the input power of a railway vehicle has been studied when the contact loss occurs in the feed system. The impedance of the actual railway line was applied to the modeling of the feed system, and modeling was performed based on the performance of the electric railway vehicle. The input voltage and current of the railway vehicle through modeling were analyzed by applying TEO and STFT signal processing technique.
