'Medical officials of State Council' (議政府藥房) (MOSC) were bureaucrats who was part of a State Council and provided regular medical care to the State Council's bureaucracy. The Manual for Medical Officials of State Council (議政府藥房式例) (MMOSC) is a rare resource that records the actual work of the MOSC in the 19th century. This paper examines the changing history of the title of 'medical official' (藥房, yakbang) in the Joseon Dynasty and analyzes the role of MOSC by examining the contents of MMOSC. It argues: 1) The MOSC system was established before other similar medical office systems. Subsequently, the Medical Office of Ritual Minister (禮曹藥房) and Medical Office of Patriots and Veterans Minister (忠勳府藥房) were established, followed by Medical Office of General Office (都總府藥房) and Medical Office of Managing Royal Family (宗親府藥房). 2) The MMOSC was first written in 1812 and was augmented in 1832 and 1840. This timeline can be verified through written seal at the end of the literature. 3) In addition to the medicine-related work, the medical office also did the administrative work of the government office.

Eighteen of the PDE-5 inhibitors and their analogues were analyzed using GC-EI-MS. Fourteen of them could be identified by simple GC-MS method without derivatization, but hydroxyhongdenafil, hydroxyvardenafil, xanthoanthrafil and mirodenafil could not be identified without derivatization for the high polarity due to the presence of hydroxyl groups. N,O-bis(trimethylsilyl) trifluoroacetamide (BSTFA) and N-methyl-N-(tert-butyldimethylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide (MTBSTFA), widely used trimethylsilyl (TMS) derivatizing reagents, were used to improve the sensitivity of the hydroxylated analogues. And the analytes could be identified by GC-MS after the derivatization.

Sustainable habitats play a significant role in determining the survival and habitat preservation of endangered species. To conserve the endangered species Iris dichotoma Pall. and its habitat in Taeanhaean National Park, we collected seeds from a natural population and germinated and propagated them in a greenhouse. In 2019, the propagated individuals of I. dichotoma were transplanted at two study sites in Taeanhaean National Park. After conservation translocation, annual monitoring was conducted from 2020 to 2022, and factors related to the survival and growth of I. dichotoma (clonal propagation rate [%], the flowering rate [%], the population density [individual/m²], the maximum leaf bundle length [height; cm], the maximum leaf bundle width [cm], and the pedicel length [cm]) were measured. According to the results of the monitoring of the flowering and fruiting periods for three years after transplantation, 82.4% of individuals in total were found to have survived. During 2020 to 2022, the mean population density (individual/m²) increased from 0.36 to 0.42 and the size of the leaf bundle length and the width both decreased compared to the corresponding figures in 2019 (p < 0.05). According to the findings here, the transplanted population of I. dichotoma is considered to have adapted successfully to its new site in Taeanhaean National Park.

This paper discusses wheel offloading approaches of COMS which has a single side solar array system for the accommodation of the optical payloads. First of all, in an effort to reduce fuel consumption and reflect practical implementation point of view, thruster sets for wheel offloading are proposed based on numerical analyses taking into account the COMS configuration. In this analysis, it is assumed that the wheel offloading is conducted twice a day. Secondly, in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed thruster sets, orbit simulations have been conducted for several wheel offloading approaches and compared.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for developing the practical park management. For this, satisfaction degree, satisfaction factors and estimated model by satisfaction variables of visitors analyzed through a questionnaire survey in Naejangsan National Park, Korea. In the evaluation of the satisfaction, variables of 'Lack of public facility'. 'Lack of use program', 'Lack of facility to stay' 'Charge of user fee, parking fee' and 'Exorbitant pay' at Naejangsan park office and 'Charge of user fee, parking fee', 'Lack of use program' and 'Lack of facility to stay' at Baekam park office was more unsatisfied than any other variable. Satisfaction factors by Factor Analysis were loaded with 'Facility management' at Naejangsan park office(34.3%) and 'user management' at Baekam park office(45.6%) by the highest contribution degree. In estimated model of satisfaction by Multiple Regression Analysis showed in order of 'damage of trail', 'Lack of commercial facility', and 'Littering problem' at Naejangsan park office and 'damage of cultural and historic resource', 'Lack of commercial facility', 'Touting' at Baekam park office. So, Naejangsan National Park needed intensive management policy and institutional apparatus for facility management and user education.

Enzymatic hydrolysis of waste office paper was evaluated using three commercial cellulases, Acremonium cellulase, Meicelase, and Cellulosin T2. Varying the enzyme loading from 1 to 10% (w/w) conversion of waste office paper to reducing sugar was investigated. The conversion increased with the increase in the enzyme loading: in the case of enzyme loading of 10% (w/w), Acremonium cellulase yielded 79%conversion of waste office paper, which was 17% higher compared to Meicelase, 13% higher than that of Cellulosin T2. Empirical model for the conversion (%) of waste office paper to re-ducing sugar (x) was derived from experimental results as follow, x = $kE^{m}t^{(aE+b)}$ where k, m, a, and b de-note empirical constants. E indicates initial enzyme concentration.

The occurrence of inclusion body hepatitis was confirmed for the first time in Korea from chickens submitted for diagnosis to this Institute from a farm located in the vicinity of Anyang. The chickens showed no specific clinical signs except for moderate anemic conditions. At autopsy, livers were swollen and mottled with numerous stellate subcapsular hemorrhages and necrotic foci. Severe nephritis and catarrhal enteritis were also seen. The most notable microscopic changes were seen in the liver. These included eosinophilic intra-nuclear inclusion bodies in the hepatocyes, massive hemorrhages and necrosis and fatty changes in the liver parenchema.
