Identification of the modal properties of a structural system has received much attention over the years because of its importance in structural model updating, structural health monitoring and structural control. This paper presents experimental modal test results such as natural frequencies and mode shapes of a scale model of floating structure. A modal testing is performed on the structure and modal parameters for the structure are extracted from the measured data. The results are compared to a finite element model and the correlation between the measured and analytical modal parameters is investigated.

전자해도를 시스템에 사용하기 적합하게 변환한 구조를 SENC(System Electronic Navigational Chart)라고 한다. SENC의 구조는 전자해도 표출에 필요한 각종 공간질의, 속성질의 등의 처리, 개체 속성정보의 관리, 그리고 개체의 화면표출을 위한 정보 관리가 용이하도록 정의되어야 한다. 현재 대부분의 SENC는 파일기반으로 구현되어, SENC를 활용하는 시스템에서는 SENC의 정보들을 처리하기 위한 질의를 시스템 내에서 정의하고 처리하여야 한다. SENC를 파일이 아닌 검증된 Spatial DBMS에 구현하여 SENC가 갖추어야 할 각종 정보 관리 및 처리 기능 구현 시, 시스템의 신뢰성과 유연성에 이점을 가져올 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기본적인 전자해도 정보 관리 및 표출에 필요한 SENC의 특성을 고려하여 Spatial DBMS를 이용하는 SENC 설계를 연구하였다.

In this paper, we have represented basic experiment results for the application of electric vehicle powerline communication using an induction type coupler. The coupler was fabricated using nano-crystalline alloy and it was applied to the charging system of electric vehicles to measure the communication performance. Experimental results showed a channel bandwidth over 48 Mbps.

Conventional inductive powerline communications typically use ferrite cores. However, since the recent nanocrystalline cores are expected to perform better, this paper aims to measure the performance of inductive couplers using nanocrystalline cores. To do this, we used inductive powerline communications to observe the communication range when increasing the number of cores from one to five. This experiment shows that we have the best communication performance when we connect 5 cores.

최근 해상교통량이 증가하고 연안 항해에 대한 관제 필요성이 요구되면서 선박 교통 관제구역이 점차 확대되는 추세이다. 이러한 관제구역의 확대는 관제사의 업무 부하를 초래하며, 이로 인해 교통 혼잡 시간대와 같이 교통량이 급증하는 경우 관제사가 위험 상황을 인지하지 못하는 상황도 발생하게 된다. 이러한 배경에서 본 논문에서는 관제 업무의 지원을 위해 이상 거동 선박을 자동으로 식별하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 제안하는 방법은 기계학습 기술을 기반으로 관제구역 내의 통항 패턴을 모델링하고, 이를 통해 이상 거동 선박을 식별하는 방법으로, 대상 항만의 누적된 AIS 데이터를 이용하여 모델을 학습하며, 실제 항적 및 시뮬레이션 데이터를 이용한 실험을 통해 선박교통관제시스템에의 활용 가능성을 고찰한다.

A predictive controller can solve a control problem related to a disturbance-dominant system such as roll stabilization of a ship in waves. In this paper, a predictive controller is developed for a fin stabilizer. Future wave-induced moment is modeled simply using two typical regular wave components for which six parameters are identified by the recursive Fourier transform and the least squares method using the past time series of the roll motion. After predicting the future wave-induced moment, optimal control theory is applied to discover the most effective command fin angle that will stabilize the roll motion. In the results, wave prediction performance is investigated, and the effectiveness of the predictive controller is compared to a conventional PD controller.

선교에는 항해사에게 정보를 전달하기 위하여 다양한 신호가 존재한다. 항해 및 통신 장비로부터 나오는 음향 신호 등 다양한 청각 신호들이 존재하지만 이러한 청각 신호, 청각 경고음에 대한 인간의 인지능력에 관한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 청각 경고음은 크게 음성(speech), 함축적 소리(abstract sound), 청각 아이콘(auditory icon)으로 구분 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 청각 경고음 중 청각아이콘을 활용하여 5가지의 경보상황(엔진, 화재, 조타, 전기, 충돌)에서 청각아이콘에 대한 감성평가를 통해 각 상황에 적합한 청각아이콘을 선별하였다. 본 연구 결과는 선교 내 청각표시장치와 통합선교알람관리시스템을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The objective of this study was to establish whether global macroeconomic indicators affect the profitability of Korean shipping companies by using panel regression analysis. OROA (operating return on assets) and ROA (ratio of net profit to assets) were selected as proxy variables for profitability. OROA and ROA were used as dependent variables. The world GDP growth rate, interest rate, exchange rate, stock index, bunker price, freight, demand and supply of the world shipping market were set as independent variables. The size of the firm was added to the control variable. For small-sized firms, OROA was not affect by macroeconomic indicators. However, ROA was affected by variables such as interest rates, bunker prices, and size of firms. For medium-sized firms, OROA was affected by demand, supply, GDP, freight, and asset variables. However, macroeconomic indicators did not affect ROA. For large-sized firms, freight, GDP, and stock index (SCI; Shanghai Composite Index) have an effect on OROA. ROA was analyzed to be influenced by bunker price and SCI.

국내 해상풍력발전단지와 선박간의 이격거리에 대한 명확한 규정 및 법령이 없는 시점에서 이 연구는 국내 해상풍력발전단지의 안전거리를 국내 및 해외의 관련 규정 및 문헌을 검토사항을 바탕으로 부산 청사포 해역 인근의 선박 통항량을 AIS Data 기반 분석하여 해상풍력발전단지 시설물(Wind Turbine)의 안전을 확보하기 위한 방안을 검토하였다.

This paper aims to propose optimal method to assess and cumulate the daily profit for liner shipping to support the shipping lines in making optimal decision with the highest average daily profit. This paper not only explains the actual calculated results align with decision-makers' behavior from concepts indicated in cumulative prospect theory but also contributes to an easy-to-apply method for liner shipping network predictability in and provides optimal decision-making is helpful for shipping managers for the best effective selection of the most appropriate alternative under uncertainties.
