직업기초능력의 교육 강화 필요도에 대한 공업계고교 교장의 인식 (A study on the need for the consolidation of education that principals of technical highschool perceive regarding the occupational core competencies)

  • 이 연구는 공업계고교 교장 선생님이 인식하는 직업기초능력의 핵심역량에 대하여 교육강화 필요도를 알아보고 그 결과를 통하여 공업계고교 교육과정 상의 보다 향상된 직업기초능력 교육이 이루어질 수 있도록 기초 자료를 제공하기 위함을 목적으로 실시하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 문헌연구와 산업체 현장 전문가의 검토를 통하여 자기관리능력, 대인관계능력, 기술활용능력, 문제해결능력, 의사소통농력, 조직이해능력, 정보활용능력, 외국어능력, 수리능력과 같은 9개의 직업기초능력 핵심 역량 요소를 도출하였으며 이들 도구에 대하여 Borich의 공식을 이용하여 교육강화 필요도를 알아보기 위한 설문지 문항을 개발하였다. 개발된 조사도구를 통한 공업계고교 교장 선생님의 응답 결과는 직업기초능력의 핵심 역량에 대한 모든 문항에서 교육적 강화의 필요성이 있다는 인식을 하였다. 하지만 공업계 마이스터고교 교장 선생님의 경우 소속 학생들의 조직이해능력에 대한 교육적 강화 필요성은 비교적 낮은 수준으로 나타났으며 수리능력에 대해서도 다른 직업기초능력에 비하여 상당한 수준의 교육적 강화의 필요성을 갖고 있는 것으로 보긴 어려웠다.

근로자건강센터 직원의 핵심역량 요구 및 역량수행 (Core Competency Requirements and Implementation of the Workers Health Center Employees)

  • Objectives: This study was established to ascertain the requirements and implementation of core competencies for employees of the a workers' health center. Methods: The study consisted of a four-step process: a literature review, focus group interviews, expert opinions, and a questionnaire. The survey was conducted online among 119 employees of the National Workers' Health Center. Results: As a result of the research, eleven core competencies and 37 sub-competencies were derived in three areas: Competence as a social worker, competence to perform duties, and competence for maintaining expertise. The key demands for core competencies were "health consultation" and "understanding of small businesses.". They responded that they needed to "maintain an ethical attitude" and "consult on workers' health.". The largest score difference between core competency requirements and competency implementation was "collaboration with the community.". Conclusions: It is necessary to increase competencies not only for competencies with high core requirements, but also for relatively low competencies. In addition, efforts should be made to improve the core competencies of the employees of the Workers' Health Center to effectively respond to changes in the industrial structure and crises such as COVID-19.

HIV감염인 상담간호사의 직무역량 분석 (Analysis on Job Competencies of HIV Counseling Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the job competencies of HIV counseling nurses and to figure out the importance, level of difficulty, and performance frequency of the competencies. Methods: The job competencies were drawn from 22 HIV counseling nurses by developing new models and utilizing specialist groups. The importance, level of difficulty, and performance frequency of the competencies were analyzed using the average and deviation. Results: The results of this study identified 6 job competencies such as counseling performance, expertise utilization, cooperation, support, administration, and self-development, 28 sub-competencies, and 48 job descriptions. Out of the 6 job competencies, counseling performance recorded high levels in the importance, level of difficulty, and performance frequency. Conclusion: The study results will be used as the basic data of the training programs for strengthening the job competencies of HIV counseling nurses. Furthermore, it is expected that the results will contribute to the prevention of HIV/AIDS transmission, the core of the national HIV/AIDS control programmes, and the improved health and quality of life in people living with HIV.

치과병의원에서 요구하는 치위생과 졸업생들의 직업능력에 관한 연구 (The study about occupational ability of dental hygiene department students required of the dental clinics)

  • Objectives : This study is aimed to help the dental hygiene department students to improve their adaptive ability to the field work by letting them know the performing levels required of the job world, by renovating the knowledge-centered curriculum, and by finding out the core competencies needed for successfully performing their duties and tasks in the work field. Methods : The survey tool was recomposed through the examination of the preceeding studies on basic vocational competencies and skills, and the survey has been done to 200 dentists in Seoul and Gyunggi provice. Results : 1. As for the job-getting routs, 35.1% of them finds their jobs through the job portal sites, and 21.3% through the recommendation by professors. So we can see the meaningful difference in the employment ways. 2. Dental hygiene clinics think that the purpose of their cooperation with the colleges is mainly to secure human resources by requiring the colleges to give field-centered education the colleges through. 3. The clinics for dental hygienic students' field learning have a great power for hiring the students. So it is necessary to set up a good management system of the clinics for dental hygienic students' field learning in order to reinforce the students' competitive power in getting jobs. 4. The priorities in basic working abilities needed for the task performance are in the order of vocational responsibility, self-managing & developing ability, interpersonal skill, and problem solving ability. 5. The core competencies required of those who graduate from dental hygiene school show the following scores by Likert measurement; good personality and vocational consciousness 2.16(${\pm}.677$), understanding power of major-related knowledge 2.19(${\pm}.723$), field adapting ability 2.31(${\pm}.748$), get-along-with ability 2.32(${\pm}.799$), interpersonal skill 2.42(${\pm}.768$), and self-development ability such as getting certificates 2.43(${\pm}.729$). Among the core competencies, the only meaningful factor which influences on their satisfaction measurement has been identified as the professional ability related to the major. Conclusions : The results suggest that the knowledge and skill related to the major are core competencies of able human resources and closely related with the professionality of the job, and so they are very important. However, job basic abilities are also proved to be important, which reinforce the students' activeness, self-regulation, and creativeness, and help them to pursue their lasting growth in their abilities.

핵심역량 기반 관점에서의 치위생(학)과 교육목표 분석 (Analysis of the education objectives of the dental hygiene department from core competencies-based perspective)

  • Objectives : It will be necessary to make statement about the competence targeted in the dental hygienic education that adopts the competence-based curriculum from the standpoint of core competence which the students need to be equipped with in the society. Methods : To achieve the education objective of Dental Hygienics, the information available on the website of the Korean Dental Association, universities and graduate schools were used, and the education objectives of the concerned universities which were posted in the websites of 82 universities from July to August, 2011 were analyzed. Results : C7 and C1 accounted for 21.1%, the highest percentage, in the core capability, while HP1 comprised 79.6% in the health improvement and disease prevention. CM1 stood at 73.7%, the highest percentage, in the community involvement(CM) area, and PC4 accounted for 90.8%, the highest percentage, in the patient care(PC) area. In the professional growth and development(PGD) area, PGD1 was the highest, followed by PGD3. In relation to the comments on the occupational types after graduation, 63.1% of respondents mentioned the dental hygienists at the school, while 33.3% did not make any comment on the dental hygienists. Conclusions It was necessary to re-establish the essential objectives of the graduates based on the competence as the accomplishments of studying and learning in the department of dental hygiene. It may be a useful method to set the competency-based education objective on the basis of the implementation ability and the level of graduates.

방사선사 핵심 직무역량 모델의 적합성 및 타당성 검증 (A Goodness of Fit and Validity Study of the Korean Radiological Technologists' Core Job Com petency Model)

  • 방사선사는 사람의 생명을 대상으로 하므로 전문적인 직무역량(job competency)이 요구된다. 그럼에도 현재 한국에서는 방사선사의 직무역량을 밝히고 있는 연구가 이루어진 바 없다. 이에 한국 방사선사의 핵심 직무역량 지표를 정의하고 역량군별 요인모델을 제시하고자 방사선사 직무역량에 대한 설문을 실시하여 최종 147명의 응답내용을 취합하였다. 응답 내용은 PASW Statistics Version 18.0와 AMOS Version 18.0을 이용하여 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 요인분석 결과 전문직업성', '환자관리', '건강 및 안전', '장비의 운영', '절차와 관리'의 5개 핵심 직무역량군과 17개의 하위 역량으로 구성된 모델을 구성하였다. 5개 핵심 직무역량군의 측정 모델 RMSEA 값은 0.1, CFI와 TLI 값이 0.9에 근사하게 나타나 양호한 적합도를 보였으며, 타당도 분석 결과 평균분산추출 값 0.5이상, 개념신뢰도 값 0.7이상으로 각 하위 역량에 포함된 세부 항목 간에 상관관계도 높게 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과는 한국의 의료 환경에서 방사선사에게 요구되는 직무역량을 명확히 제시하여 역량 중심의 인적 자원 양성과 관리에 필요한 구체적인 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

포괄치위생관리 과정을 적용한 스케일링 수행 경험에 관한 질적 연구 : 근거이론적 접근 (Qualitative study on the scaling experience through the application of comprehensive dental hygiene care : A grounded theory approach)

  • Objectives: This study was performed in order to provide evidence-based data for the expected professional impact of dental hygienists, and to apply and disclose the comprehensive dental hygiene care process through an in-depth analysis of their scaling experience and investigation of the importance of an evidence-based scaling work performance. Methods: The data were collected from June 3, 2019 to October 3, 2019 by conducting in-depth individual interviews on 10 dental hygienists who are working in dental clinics and hospitals by region. The data were analyzed by using the grounded theory methodology, which is a field of qualitative research method. Results: Study results showed that the core category derived from the paradigm model and change process in this study was 'a process of becoming a mature professional outside practical work'. Conclusions: In this study, the participants were able to gain a sense of occupational accomplishment as dental hygienists by performing scaling based on the comprehensive dental hygiene care (CDHC) process, and to advance into professionals through continuous efforts and research in order to enhance their job competencies.
