산사태 발생예측을 위한 확률모델 (A Probabilistic Model for Landslide Prediction)

  • In this study, a probabilistic prediction model for debris flow occurrence was developed using a logistic regression analysis. The model can be applicable to metamorphic rocks and granite area. In order to develop the prediction model, detailed field survey and laboratory soil tests were conducted both in the northern and the southern Gyeonggi province and in Sangju, Gyeongbuk province, Korea. The six landslide triggering factors were selected by a logistic regression analysis as well as several basic statistical analyses. The six factors consist of two topographic factors and four geological and geotechnical factors. The model assigns a weight value to each selected factor. The verification results reveal that the model has 86.5% of prediction accuracy. Therefore, it is possible to predict landslide occurrence in a probabilistic and quantitative manner.

소방공무원의 조직문화 유형과 조직지원인식이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Organizational Culture Types and Perceived Organizational Support on the Organizational Commitment of Firefighters)

  • 본 연구는 소방공무원이 지각하는 조직문화 유형과 조직지원인식이 조직몰입에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아봄으로써 이들의 조직문화 유형에 따른 조직몰입을 높이고 조직차원에서의 지원에 관한 실천 방안을 마련하는데 도움을 주고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 경기 북부지역 소방공무원 205명을 대상으로 유의표집 방식으로 조사하였다. 조사결과, 소방공무원의 조직문화 유형 중 집단문화와 합리문화, 그리고 조직지원인식이 조직몰입에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로, 소방공무원이 지각하고 있는 집단문화와 합리문화의 활성화와 이에 따른 조직몰입을 높이고 조직차원에서의 다양한 지원방안에 대해 제안하였다.

Analysis of external environmental factors affecting patient transport time

  • Emergency transport is directly related to the life of the patient, and rapid transport to the hospital is crucial. However, external environmental factors such as traffic or weather, interfere with hospital transport. In this study, we investigated the external environment affecting hospital transport time. We examined the transfer time and patient treatment time of emergency patients in an area of northern Gyeonggi-do from 2018 to 2020. Diagnosis after arrival at the hospital was used, and on-site treatment time was measured from paramedic arrival time at the scene to departure. Furthermore, we examined whether there was a correlation between the time paramedics left the scene and hospital arrival time through the reason for the delay as recorded in the emergency log. Traffic jams had the greatest impact on patient transport, while transport delays occurred due to heavy rain, but not snow. Among injured patients, electrical accidents were the most problematic in terms of on-site treatment time. This was because a lot of first aid is needed in electrical accidents. It must be necessary to mobilize two ambulances in an emergency through the expansion of infrastructure, prepare a plan for rapid transport in heavy rain, and implement strong laws against transport obstruction.

수도권 실버타운의 공간적 분포와 이용자 인식 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Spatial Distribution of Silver Towns and Their Residents' Recognition in the Seoul Metropolitan Area)

  • 본 연구는 수도권 실버타운의 공간적 분포 특성을 살펴보았고, 수도권 실버타운에 거주하고 있는 노인들을 대상으로 심층 면담을 실시하여 실버타운에 대한 인식을 알아보았다. 최근에는 가족과의 교류가 용이하며, 의료시설과 접근성이 좋은 도심이나 도시 근교 지역을 선호하는 노인들이 증가함에 따라 수도권에 실버타운이 집중 분포하고 있다. 이들 시설은 주로 서울의 북쪽과 경부 고속도로를 축으로 한 경기도의 남쪽에 위치하고 있다. 따라서 이용자들이 실버타운을 선택할 때 시설의 위치와 접근성이 중요하게 작용한다는 점을 알 수 있었다. 실버타운에서 노인들은 가사 노동에서 해방되어 의미 있는 일을 하면서 여생을 보낼 수 있고, 사회적 계층이 유사한 사람들과 원만하게 교류하며 긍정적인 자아정체감을 가질 수 있다. 이러한 측면에서 80세 이상의 이용자들은 실버타운을 집으로 인식하고 뿌리내림하고 있는 경우가 많았다. 반면에 60~70대의 비교적 젊은 노인들은 실버타운에 입소하여 자신만의 고유한 특성이나 자기결정권이 제한되는 것에 불편을 느끼고 다른 주거 공간으로 이주하는 것을 고려하기도 하였다.

경기육괴 남서 연변부 홍성지역에 발달하는 편마암 돔에 대한 보고 (A Report on Gneiss Dome in the Hongseong Area, Southwestern Margin of the Gyeonggi Massif)

  • 본 연구는 경기육괴 남서 연변부 홍성지역에 발달하는 편마암 내 돔 구조를 보고한다. 서해안 제1봉 오서산 주변으로 발달하여 오서산 돔으로 명명된 이 편마암 돔은 주로 신원생대-고생대의 정편마암 및 준편마암, 변성염기성화산암, 변성조립현무암으로 주로 구성된다. 이들 암석들은 혼성암화작용을 경험하였으며, 내부에는 부분용융에 의해 형성된 우백질(화강암질) 물질이 엽리면을 절단하거나 이에 평행한 패치 혹은 광맥의 형태로 빈번하게 관입되어있다. 오서산 돔은 전체적으로 동심 구조 및 외부를 향하는 내부 엽리를 보이나, 일부 영역에 발달하는 엽리는 복잡한 방향 변화를 보이거나 내부를 향하는 형태를 보이기도 한다. 그간 오서산 돔 내부에서 보고된 암석학적, 연대학적 정보들을 종합해보면, 오서산 돔은 후기 트라이아스기에 빠르게 상부지각으로 융기하였으며 이와 유사한 시기에 일부 부분용융작용 및 화강암의 관입을 경험하였다. 더불어 주변으로는 후기 트라이아스기의 운동동시성 화강암에 의해 관입되어 있는 확장성 전단대 및 퇴적분지 발달이 보고된 바 있다. 이러한 양상은 오서산 돔이 후기 트라이아스기 확장성 운동 및 이에 수반된 다이어퍼 상승흐름과 연관되어 형성되었을 가능성을 지시할 수 있다. 또 다른 시각에서 편마암 내 돔 구조의 발달이 후기 트라이아스기~중기 쥬라기 퇴적분지의 구조역전 과정에서 1) 충상단층 내지는 역단층에 수반되었거나, 2) 독립적인 습곡들의 상호 간섭에 의해 야기되었을 가능성 역시 배재할 수는 없다. 하지만 돔의 북측 날개부가 후기 트라이아스기 화강암에 의해 절단되어 있는 양상이나 남측 날개부가 압축변형 과정에서 재활성된 단층에 의해 절단되어 있는 양상을 미루어 보았을 때, 편마암 내 돔 구조의 발달 시기는 후기 트라이아스기 혹은 그 이전일 가능성이 높다.

Spatial analysis of $PM_{10}$ and cardiovascular mortality in the Seoul metropolitan area

  • Objectives Numerous studies have revealed the adverse health effects of acute and chronic exposure to particulate matter less than $10{\mu}m$ in aerodynamic diameter ($PM_{10}$). The aim of the present study was to examine the spatial distribution of $PM_{10}$ concentrations and cardiovascular mortality and to investigate the spatial correlation between $PM_{10}$ and cardiovascular mortality using spatial scan statistic (SaTScan) and a regression model. Methods From 2008 to 2010, the spatial distribution of $PM_{10}$ in the Seoul metropolitan area was examined via kriging. In addition, a group of cardiovascular mortality cases was analyzed using SaTScan-based cluster exploration. Geographically weighted regression (GWR) was applied to investigate the correlation between $PM_{10}$ concentrations and cardiovascular mortality. Results An examination of the regional distribution of the cardiovascular mortality was higher in provincial districts (gu) belonging to Incheon and the northern part of Gyeonggi-do than in other regions. In a comparison of $PM_{10}$ concentrations and mortality cluster (MC) regions, all those belonging to MC 1 and MC 2 were found to belong to particulate matter (PM) 1 and PM 2 with high concentrations of air pollutants. In addition, the GWR showed that $PM_{10}$ has a statistically significant relation to cardiovascular mortality. Conclusions To investigate the relation between air pollution and health impact, spatial analyses can be utilized based on kriging, cluster exploration, and GWR for a more systematic and quantitative analysis. It has been proven that cardiovascular mortality is spatially related to the concentration of $PM_{10}$.

수도권지역에서의 권역간 대기오염물질 상호영향 연구 (A Regional Source-Receptor Analysis for Air Pollutants in Seoul Metropolitan Area)

  • This study were to simulate major criteria air pollutants and estimate regional source-receptor relationship using air quality prediction model (TAPM ; The Air Pollution Model) in the Seoul Metropolitan area. Source-receptor relationship was estimated by contribution of each region to other regions and region itself through dividing the Seoul metropolitan area into five regions. According to administrative boundary, region I and region II were Seoul and Incheon in order. Gyeonggi was divided into three regions by directions like southern(region III), northern(IV) and eastern(V) area. Gridded emissions ($1km{\times}1km$) by Clean Air Pollicy Support System (CAPSS) of National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) was prepared for TAPM simulation. The operational weather prediction system, Regional Data Assimilation and Prediction System (RDAPS) operated by the Korean Meteorology Administration (KMA) was used for the regional weather forecasting with 30km grid resolution. Modeling period was 5 continuous days for each season with non-precipitation. The results showed that region I was the most air-polluted area and it was 3~4 times more polluted region than other regions for $NO_2$, $SO_2$ and PM10. Contributions of $SO_2$ $NO_2$ and PM10 to region I, II and III were more than 50 percent for their own sources. However region IV and V were mostly affected by sources of region I, II and III. When emissions of all regions were assumed to reduce 10 and 20 percent separately, air pollution of each region was reduced linearly and the contributions of reduction scenario were similar to those of base case. As input emissions were reduced according to different ratio - region I 40 percent, region II and III 20 percent, region IV and V 10 percent, air pollutions of region I and III were decreased remarkably. The contributions to region I, II, III were also reduced for their own sources. However, region I, II and III affected more regions IV and V. Shortly, graded reduction of emission could be more effective to control air pollution in emission imbalanced area.

충주지역 희토류 광상의 성인: 산출상태와 지화학적 특성 (Genesis of the REE Ore Deposits, Chungju District, Korea: Occurrence Features and Geochemical Characteristics)

  • Some REE ore deposits are located in the middle part the of Korean peninsula. Geotectonically, the REE ore deposits situated on the Kyemyeongsan Formation of northern margin of the Okcheon geosynclinal belt and in the transitional zone between Kyeonggi massif and the Okcheon belt, with a deep-seated fracture separating the two tectonic units. The Kyemyeongsan Formation are different in lithology and metamorphic grade from the Gyeonggi massif and the Okcheon super group. The sequence of Kyemyeongsan Formation is dominantly composed of acidic metavolcanic and volcaniclastic rocks associated with alkaline igneous rocks which are related to volcano-plutonism. The REE ore deposits contain mainly Ce-La, Ta-Nb, Y, Y-Nd and Nd-Th group minerals. More than 15 RE and REE minerals have been found in the deposits, such as allanite, fergusonite, thorite bestnaesite, euxenite, polyclase, monazite, columbite, (Nb)-rutile, okanoganite, sphene, zircon, illmenite and some other unknown minerals. According to the characteristics of the mineral association, the REE ore deposits may be divided into 4 ore types; Zircon-REE, allanite-REE, feldspar-REE and fluorite-REE type. The Sm-Nd isochron age of the REE ore is 330 Ma, and the Sm-Nd model age is 1.11 Ga with ${\varepsilon}_{Nd(t)}$ being - 2.9. This data suggest that the REE ore deposit was formed in the early Carboniferous, and the ore-forming material came from the mantle. The REE ores show distinct light REE enrichment with strong negative Eu anomaly. The REE patterns of schistose rocks from Kyemyeongsan Formation are similar to felsic volcanics from rifts or back arc basins in or near continental crust. The genesis of the REE ore deposit is quite complicated. Different geologic processes are displayed in the studied area; sedimentation, volcanic activity, metamorphism and hydrothermal replacement. Alkali granite has suffered extensive post-magmatic metasomatism of a high temperature to produce alkali metasomatites. Geochemical charateristics show that metasomatism of alkaline fluid was probably the dominant ore-forming process in Chungju district.

토석류 산사태 예측을 위한 로지스틱 회귀모형 개발 (Development of a Logistic Regression Model for Probabilistic Prediction of Debris Flow)

  • 이 연구는 자연사면에서 발생하는 토석류(debris flow)산사태의 확률론적 예측을 위해 로지스틱 회귀분석(logistic regression analysis)을 이용하여 변성 암 및 화강암 분포지에 적용할 수 있는 예측모델을 개발한 것이다. 산사태 예측모델을 개발하기 위해 경기 남ㆍ북부지역과 경북 상주지역에서 발생한 산사태 자료를 현장조사와 실내토질시험을 통해 직접 획득ㆍ분석하였다. 산사태 발생에 영향을 미치는 인자는 기초 통계분석은 물론 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하여 최종적으로 7개 영향인자를 선정하였다. 이들 7개 인자는 지형요소 2개와 지질 및 토질특성 요소 5개로 구성되어 있고, 각 인자별 가중치를 부여한 점이 큰 특징이다. 개발된 모델은 신뢰성 검증을 수행한 결과 90.74%의 예측율을 확보한 것으로 나타났다. 이 모델을 이용하여 산사태 발생가능성을 확률적ㆍ정량적으로 예측할 수 있게 되었다.

Precision Evaluation of Recent Global Geopotential Models based on GNSS/Leveling Data on Unified Control Points

  • After launching the GOCE (Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation Explorer) which obtains high-frequency gravity signal using a gravity gradiometer, many research institutes are concentrating on the development of GGM (Global Geopotential Model) based on GOCE data and evaluating its precision. The precision of some GGMs was also evaluated in Korea. However, some studies dealt with GGMs constructed based on initial GOCE data or others applied a part of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) / Leveling data on UCPs (Unified Control Points) for the precision evaluation. Now, GGMs which have a higher degree than EGM2008 (Earth Gravitational Model 2008) are available and UCPs were fully established at the end of 2019. Thus, EIGEN-6C4 (European Improved Gravity Field of the Earth by New techniques - 6C4), GECO (GOCE and EGM2008 Combined model), XGM2016 (Experimental Gravity Field Model 2016), SGG-UGM-1, XGM2019e_2159 were collected with EGM2008, and their precisions were assessed based on the GNSS/Leveling data on UCPs. Among GGMs, it was found that XGM2019e_2159 showed the minimum difference compared to a total of 5,313 points of GNSS/Leveling data. It is about a 1.5cm and 0.6cm level of improvement compare to EGM2008 and EIGEN-6C4. Especially, the local biases in the northern part of Gyeonggi-do, Jeju island shown in the EGM2008 was removed, so that both mean and standard deviation of the difference of XGM2019e_2159 to the GNSS/Leveling are homogeneous regardless of region (mountainous or plain area). NGA (National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency) is currently in progress in developing EGM2020 and XGM2019e_2159 is the experimentally published model of EGM2020. Therefore, it is expected that the improved GGM will be available shortly so that it is necessary to verify the precision of new GGMs consistently.
