Development and Validation of Short Form of the Normal Depression Scale for Individual Screening (개인선별용 일상우울척도 단축형의 개발 및 타당화)

  • Background: The purpose of this study is to develop a short form of the normal depression scale for individual use in the school, health, industry, organization, and counseling settings, based on the original normal depression scale (17 items). Methods: To achieve this purpose, we selected five items from the original test and analyzed data using Mplus 7.4 and SPSS 21.0. Results: The normal depression scale-short form consists of 5 items. The reliability of the short form (test-retest reliability) was good. The content validity and internal structure validity (1 factor model) were verified. The cut score between normal and dysfunctional depression was determined to be 18. Conclusions: The normal depression scale-short form for individual screening is verified to have good reliability and validity, so it is expected to be useful to perform quick screening of normal depression in the practical settings.

  • As the integrated circuit technology gets developed, a circuit size of more than thousands of transistors becomes normal. A hierarchical design is unavoidable due to a huge circuit size. It is important how we can consider hierarchical structure in circuit delay analysis. In this paper we present an accurate method to analyze the delay of circuit with hierarchical structure. Adding the notion of global false path to the hierarchical timing analysis performs more accurate timing analysis.

  • Volume hologram was recorded using reference beam form optical fiber taper. A singel mode fiber was chemically etced to make a taper structure, and we showed experimentally that the referencing by the irregular beam pattern from this taper structure could increase the storage density of photorefractive volume hologram. The spatial selectivity of the volume hologram with this method was increased by two times compared to the normal single mode fiber referencing case. A theoretical analysis with randomly phased plane model also confirmed the results.

  • A new approach to the analysis of horizontally curved beams is presented in this paper. The proposed method simplifies a two-dimensional structure into a one-dimensional structure just like a normal beam for structural analysis and, therefore, reduces the computational effort significantly.

  • Ti-Sn sol is fabricated using sol-gel method. In case the amount of water required hydrolysis smaller than that for stoichiometry, Ti sol forms clear sol which has normal chain structure. On the contrary, in case the amount of water required hydrolysis larger than that for stoichiometry, Ti sol forms suspended sol which has cluster structure. Viscosity of Ti-Sn sol decrease with increasing HCl additive. Gelation of Ti-Sn sol is delayed with increasing HCl and $Sn(OC_2H_5)_4$ additive.

  • In this Paper a basic technique of gantry robot control system has been developed to weld the curved part of a large structure. A welding robot is designed to rotate torch and make the torch angle normal to the welding surface. The Kalman filter is applied to obtain the smooth welding path signal from the noised Sensing data. A welding path finding algorithm has been developed in Turbo-C language.
