Purpose: This study aimed at exploring the product choice tendency differences between the consciousness and unconsciousness of goal orientation when product attributes is perceived to be compatible with the goal orientation. Research design, data and methodology: Empirical study used a 2 (goal conscious vs. unconscious) × 3 (hedonic vs. performance vs. reliability attribute) between-subjects design and one control group. To verify hypotheses, χ²-test was conducted to 320 questionnaire data answered by undergraduate students of Jiangxi Normal University in China. Results: First, consumers under unconscious condition showed a higher product choice consistency based on compatibility between hedonic (performance) attribute of the product and their hedonic (performance) promotion goal-orientation than those under the conscious condition. Second, product choice effects of compatibility between reliability attribute of the product and prevention goal orientation were not significantly different between consumers' consciousness and unconsciousness of their prevention goal orientation. Conclusions: Marketers of 'under dog' should try to develop and deliver the product attributes different from the attributes of 'top dog.' And the 'top dog' marketers should help their customers to avoid the conflicts by developing the environment of inducing their goal orientation unconsciously. Brand marketers should always pay attention to the reliability attributes concerned with the prevention goal orientation.

본 연구는 고령친화용품 체험공간의 확대 설치를 위한 근거를 파악하기 위해 체험공간에 대한 경험유무에 따른 가상가치를 평가하였다. 추정방법은 고령자 152명을 대상으로 조건부 가치측정 방법인 이중경계형(double-bounded dichotomous choice) 로그로짓모형(log-logistic model)과 로그노말모형(log-normal model)을 적용하였다. 추정결과, 로그로짓모형의 절단평균은 3,401원, 평균은 4,937원으로, 로그노말모형은 절단평균이 3,433원, 평균은 4,144원으로 나타났다. 체험공간이 삶의 질과 산업육성을 위해 필요성이 높음에도 지불의사에 대한 부정적 답변이 많았으며 체험공간의 미경험자가 가치를 상대적으로 높게 평가하였다. 체험공간 추가설치의 문제는 체험공간에 대한 가치평가의 제고뿐만 아니라 복합 기능의 도입, 다양한 고령친화용품 구비, 개인맞춤형 지원, 나아가 접근 편의성과 서비스 수준을 제고해야 할 필요성을 보여주었다.

In this paper, a new method for the estimation of the effect of DSM program is proposed. By identifying the learning curve of high efficient induction motor, the effect of DSM program applied to that product can be estimated. The learning curve of normal induction motor, to which no DSM program is applied, is identified also. Both learning curves, which are different shapes, means different teaming ratio. It can be concluded that DSM program makes the learning curve of the product change the shape. It also can be concluded that DSM program has influence on the sale of the product to which it is applied.

Insurance system has a lot of decision factors which are affected by the kinds of insurance products. and has the features of many exceptions. Since in applying the product attributes to the current system the value definition through tables and the exception treatment logic (if then else) are used in parallel, the cost of a product change and a new product development becomes increased and the prompt market reaction is difficult. In this paper, we propose the well formed rule base system which makes data for the business logic of insurance attributes and discuss the benefit of application of this system to the real project.

In this paper, the notions of strong Connes amenability for certain products of Banach algebras and module extension of dual Banach algebras is investigated. We characterize χ ⊗ η-strong Connes amenability of projective tensor product ${\mathbb{K}}{\hat{\bigotimes}}{\mathbb{H}}$ via χ ⊗ η-σwc virtual diagonals, where χ ∈ 𝕂_* and η ∈ ℍ_* are linear functionals on dual Banach algebras 𝕂 and ℍ, respectively. Also, we present some conditions for the existence of (χ, θ)-σwc virtual diagonals in the θ-Lau product of 𝕂 ×_θ ℍ. Finally, we characterize the notion of (χ, 0)-strong Connes amenability for module extension of dual Banach algebras 𝕂 ⊕ 𝕏, where 𝕏 is a normal Banach 𝕂-bimodule.

Rise in cutting force causes tool damage and worsens product quality resulting in machining accuracy deterioration. Especially, fragile material cutting brings about breakage of material and worsens product surface quality. In this study, we trace the locus of cutting force and examine the machined surface corresponding to the cutting force loci. and build up a monitoring system for deciding normal operation or not of cutting process.

This paper deals with sufficiency conditions for irreducibility of certain induced modules. We also construct irreducible representations for a group G over a field $\mathbb{K}$ where the group G is a semidirect product of a normal abelian subgroup N and a subgroup H. The main results are proved with the assumption that char $\mathbb{K}$ does not divide |G| but there is no assumption made of $\mathbb{K}$ being algebraically closed.

We point out: to make Hermtian matrices A and B satisfy Styan matrix inequality, the condition "positive definite property" demanded in the present literatures is not necessary. Furthermore, on the premise of abandoning positive definite property, we derive Styan matrix inequality of Hadamard product for inverse Hermitian matrices and the sufficient and necessary conditions that the equation holds in our paper.

As an alternative to traditional life testing, degradation tests can be effective in assessing product reliability when measurements of degradation leading to failure can be observed. This article presents an accelerated degradation testing for vacuum fluorescent displays (VFDs). The accelerated degradation model is based on Arrhenius-lifetime relationship for cathode temperatures. We compare the results between accelerated degradation test and test at normal use condition. Accelerated degradation test for display devices is observed as an efficient method to warrantee product reliability to customers, as well as a tool to save time and costs.
