Robots for construction sites, although not deeply widespread, are finding applications in the duties of project monitoring, material movement, documentation, security, and simple repetitive construction-related tasks. A significant shortcoming in the use of robots is the complexity involved in programming and re-programming an automation routine. Robotic programming is not an expected skill set of the traditional construction industry professional. Therefore, this research seeks to deliver a low-cost approach toward re-programming that does not involve a programmer's skill set. The researchers in this study examined an approach toward programming a terrestrial-based drone so that it follows a taped path. By doing so, if an alternative path is required, programmers would not be needed to re-program any part of the automated routine. Changing the path of the drone simply requires removing the tape and placing a different path - ideally simplifying the process and quickly allowing practitioners to implement a new automated routine. Python programming scripts were used with a DJI Robomaster EP Core drone, and a terrain navigation assessment was conducted. The study examined the pass/fail rates for a series of trial run over different terrains. The analysis of this data along with video recording for each trial run allowed the researchers to conclude that the accuracy of the tape follow technique was predictable on each of the terrain surfaces. The accuracy and predictability inform a non-coding construction practitioner of the optimal placement of the taped path. This paper further presents limitations and suggestions for some possible extended research options for this study.

The finite element analysis for optimizing a mirror system consisting of a large-diameter mirror and flexures requires numerous, repetitive calculations and corrections of the actual model to satisfy the given design conditions. In general, modification of this real model is conducted by reconfiguring nodes of the elements. The reconfiguration is very time-consuming work, to fix the continuity of each of the newly formed component nodes at the interfaces. But the process is a very important factor in determining the analysis time. To save time in modeling and actual computation, and to attain faster convergence, we present a new opto-mechanical analysis using non-shared node connections at each of the interfaces of the optical components. By comparing the results between the new element model and a conventional element model with shared node connections, we found that the opto-mechanical performance was almost the same, but the time to reach the given condition was drastically reduced.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of simulation-based practice and clinical practice on nursing students' critical thinking disposition and nursing process confidence. This study is a quasi-experimental design using the non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest only design, targeting 103, 4th grade(51=control group, 52=experimental group) in the Department of Nursing at D University. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program, and the main research results are as follows. Students who experienced simulation-based practice showed significant improvement in critical thinking tendencies(t=-3.28, p=.001) compared to those who experienced clinical practice. There was no significant difference in nursing process confidence (t=-1.78, p=.079), but it was significantly higher in actual application, collaborative contsistency, and nursing contsistency. As a result, There were no significant difference in some, but it was contfirmed that simulation-based practice improved the critical thinking disposition and nursing process confidence in of nursing students. In addition to clinical practice, it is considered necessary to study simulation-based practice using repetitive practice and standardized patients in a free simulation practice environment.
In the course of examining the metallic structure of Iron chisel and Iron arrowhead, a relics of the 16th or 17th of Chosun Dynasty unearthed at near Gangsun-tower, Chengpyeong temple, we collected un-eroded samples from the relics and looked into the metallic structure through mounting, grinding and polishing, and etching, while analyzing non-metallic inclusion via SEM and EDS. The research metallic structure and SEM-SDS analysis, found that Iron chisel and Iron arrowhead had been produced from sponge iron close to pure Iron made by solid low heat reducing and then increased in rate of carbon by carburizing, It also found that Iron chisel had been hardened through the repetitive process of quench hardening and heat treatment, after being increased in amount of carbon to a certain level. Up to now, there have been a number of studies in the domestic academia which were made primarily of the structure of metallic relics of three countries the period or tile era before that. Although this research was limited in type and number of the relics, it turned out to be Interesting in that it revealed the 16thor 17th century way of processing iron, even in fragments. It is thought to be fruitful that we found iron had been made even in the Chosun Dynasty from sponge iron. It is recommended that researches be made on the relics later to be excavated and originally made in $Kory\breve{o}$ or Chosun Dynasty, because they are important in history of metal technology.

Predicting the incident clearance time is important for eliminating the high transportation costs and congestion from non-repetitive congestion caused by incidents. In this study, the factors influencing the clearance time suitable for domestic road conditions were analyzed, using a training dataset for predicting the incident clearance time using artificial neural networks. In a previous study, the under-prediction problem for high incident clearance time was used. In the present study, over-sampling training data applied using the SMOGN technique was obtained and applied to the model as a solution. As a result, the DNN model applying the SMOGN technique could compensate for the limitations of the previously developed prediction model by predicting the clearance time with the highest accuracy among the models developed in the research process with MAE = 18.3 minutes.

This study developed the Time-split Mixing Model (TMM) which can represent the pollutant mixing process on a three-dimensional open channel through constructing the conceptual model based on Taylor's assumption (1954) that the shear flow dispersion is the result of combination of shear advection and diffusion by turbulence. The developed model splits the 2-D mixing process into longitudinal mixing and transverse mixing, and it represents the 2-D advection-dispersion by the repetitive calculation of concentration separation by the vertical non-uniformity of flow velocity and then vertical mixing by turbulent diffusion sequentially. The simulation results indicated that the proposed model explains the effect of concentration overlapping by boundary walls, and the simulated concentration was in good agreement with the analytical solution of the 2-D advection-dispersion equation in Taylor period (Chatwin, 1970). The proposed model could explain the correlation between hydraulic factors and the dispersion coefficient to provide the physical insight about the dispersion behavior. The longitudinal dispersion coefficient calculated by the TMM varied with the mixing time unlike the constant value suggested by Elder (1959), whereas the transverse dispersion coefficient was similar with the coefficient evaluated by experiments of Sayre and Chang (1968), Fischer et al. (1979).

Even though information in many languages other than English is quickly increasing, English is still playing the role of the lingua franca and being accounted for the largest proportion on the web. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the key features and differences between "information searching behavior using mother tongue as a search language" and "information searching behavior using English as a search language" of users who are non-mother tongue speakers of English to acquire more diverse and abundant information. This study conducted the experiment on the web searching which is applied in concurrent think-aloud method to examine the information searching behavior and the cognitive process in Korean search and English search through the twenty-four undergraduate students at a private university in South Korea. Based on the qualitative data, this study applied the frequency analysis to web search pattern under search language. As a result, it is active, aggressive and independent information searching behavior in Korean search, while information searching behavior in English search is passive, submissive and dependent. In Korean search, the main features are the query formulation by extract and combine the terms from various sources such as users, tasks and system, the search range adjustment in diverse level, the smooth filtering of the item selection in search engine results pages, the exploration and comparison of many items and the browsing of the overall contents of web pages. Whereas, in English search, the main features are the query formulation by the terms principally extracted from task, the search range adjustment in limitative level, the item selection by rely on the relevance between the items such as categories or links, the repetitive exploring on same item, the browsing of partial contents of web pages and the frequent use of language support tools like dictionaries or translators.
Purpose - This study investigated the effect of the negative affect on compulsive buying and the interaction effect of the negative affect depending on the level of mindfulness. Compulsive buying is defined as chronic, repetitive purchasing that becomes an overlearned and automatic way to cope with negative feelings, and compulsive buyers may be particularly susceptible to cognitive narrowing when shopping. Mindfulness may be defined as a coordinative regulatory process to increase the level of attention by recognizing the present experiences non-judgmentally. Hence, mindfulness can be related with negative psychological results such as general mental distress, especially compulsive buying. The purpose of the current study is to examine the relationship between compulsive buying and mindfulness. In another words, this study investigated the effect of the internal regulatory mechanism (that is, mindfulness) on the mental disorder resulting from negative affect in the area of consumption (that is, compulsive buying). Research design, data, and methodology - One hundred and twenty-five college students were recruited for this study. The subjects were classified into two groups according to the degree of the negative affect (High Negative Affect Group vs. Low Negative Affect Group) by the mean value of negative affect (=2.47). The subjects were classified into two other groups according to the degree of mindfulness (High Mindfulness Group vs. Low Mindfulness Group) by the mean value of mindfulness (= 3.47). To analyze the effect of negative affect on compulsive buying, the degree of compulsive buying of the High and Low Negative Affect Groups were compared. To examine the moderating effect of mindfulness by using factorial design, the interaction effect of the negative affect (High vs. Low) and the mindfulness (High vs. Low) were analyzed. Results - The degree of the compulsive buying was higher when the degree of the negative affect was higher than lower (3.06High Negative Affect Group vs. 2.87Low Negative Affect Group, p=.014). The difference in the degree of the compulsive buying was larger when the degree of the mindfulness was lower than higher. In other words, the interaction effect of the negative affect and the mindfulness on the compulsive buying could be found (F(1,124)=10.098, p<.01). Conclusions - The results of the current study showed that the compulsive buying is influenced by the negative affect and that the effect of the negative affect on the compulsive buying varies depending on the level of the mindfulness. These results can be interpreted to imply that consumers who are in a state of high mindfulness pay attention to every minute of experience and activate the coordinatory function and that, eventually, habitual and reflective responses such as compulsive buying are restricted. It is concluded that consumers' mindfulness can facilitate the self-regulatory responses and alleviate the influence of negative affect on compulsive buying. Based on these results, the theoretical and practical implications of this research were discussed and the limitations and future research areas were suggested.

Acoustic emission testing (AET) of cylinders is advantageous in that it can be directly conducted on cylinders installed in a car, without needing to dissemble them on a real-time basis. Therefore, users prefer AET over other nondestructive testing methods. Owing to these advantages of AET, it has been approved by the Department of Transportation of the U.S. as a safety evaluation method for pressure containers or as an alternative to the hydroproof testing method. This paper presents a study of the quantitative evaluation criteria for a container having ultrasonic testing defects and also for Type 1 and Type 2 gas cylinders, which are defective seamless pressure containers provided by NK, a manufacturer of pressure containers. For the Type 1 cylinder, the process from crack growth to leak was observed in a repetitive fatigue test using a 113 L container according to ASTM E 1419-02. Further, for the Type 2 cylinder, integrity was evaluated using a 119 L sound container and a container damaged by hydraulic pressure, by the slow-fill method according to ASTM E 2191-02. Based on the AET results of the Type 1 and Type 2 cylinders, quantitative evaluation criteria were established for a defective and non-defective container.
This study aims to understand positive changes in balance and gait function and difficulties in the instructor's guidance process through repetitive basic motor skill-based physical activities targeting people with cerebellar ataxia. For this purpose, five adults with cerebellar ataxia were selected as research subjects, and their three instructors participated as research participants. To collect quantitative data, the average and standard deviation were examined through pre-and post-evaluation of the research participants' physical activity classes for 16 weeks. The mean and standard deviation of the collected data were calculated using the Shapiro-Wilk test in the SAS 9.1 statistical program (p<.05). As a qualitative data collection method, the cultural description method of developmental research(DSR) proposed by Spradley(1980) was adopted, and the collected data were analyzed inductively according to the analysis method of Mertens(1990). Through this, 31 concepts, 10 subcategories, and 4 categories were discovered. As a result, the difficulties experienced by the research participants included insufficient guidance environment, dissatisfaction of consumers, difficulty in guidance, and non-cooperation of colleagues. Based on these research results, it was found that institutional, legal, and policy support should be provided not only to public institutions but also to private physical activity institutions that can use vouchers in order to maintain the balance of adults with cerebellar ataxia as well as to guide their physical activities.
