The control of diamond turning is usually achieved through a laser-interferometer feedback of slide position. The limitation of this control scheme is that the feedback signal does not account for additional dynamics of the tool post and the material removal process. If the tool post is rigid and the material removal process is relatively static, then such a non-collocated position feedback control scheme may surfice. However, as the accuracy requirement gets tighter and desired surface cnotours become more complex, the need for a direct tool-tip sensing becomes inevitable. The physical constraints of the machining process prohibit any reasonable implementation of a tool-tip motion measurement. It is proposed that the measured force normal to the face of the workpiece can be filtered through an appropriate admittance transfer function to result in the estimated dapth of cut. This can be compared to the desired depth of cut to generate the adjustment control action in additn to position feedback control. In this work, the design methodology on the admittance model-based control with a conventional controller is presented. The recursive least-squares algorithm with forgetting factor is proposed to identify the parameters and update the cutting process in real time. The normal cutting forces are measured to identify the cutting dynamics in the real diamond turning process using the precision dynamoneter. Based on the parameter estimation of cutting dynamics and the admitance model-based nanodynamic control scheme, simulation results are shown.

In order to maintain constant residual chlorine in sedimentation basin, It is necessary to develop real time prediction model of residual chlorine considering water treatment plant data such as water qualities, weather, and plant operation conditions. Based on the operation data acquired from K water treatment plant, prediction models of residual chlorine in sediment basin were accomplished. The input parameters applied in the models were water temperature, turbidity, pH, conductivity, flow rate, alkalinity and pre-chlorination dosage. The multiple regression models were established with linear and non-linear model with 5,448 data set. The corelation coefficient (R) for the linear and non-linear model were 0.39 and 0.374, respectively. It shows low correlation coefficient, that is, these multiple regression models can not represent the residual chlorine with the input parameters which varies independently with time changes related to weather condition. Artificial neural network models are applied with three different conditions. Input parameters are consisted of water quality data observed in water treatment process based on the structure of auto-regressive model type, considering a time lag. The artificial neural network models have better ability to predict residual chlorine at sediment basin than conventional linear and nonlinear multi-regression models. The determination coefficients of each model in verification process were shown as 0.742, 0.754, and 0.869, respectively. Consequently, comparing the results of each model, neural network can simulate the residual chlorine in sedimentation basin better than mathematical regression models in terms of prediction performance. This results are expected to contribute into automation control of water treatment processes.

Although non-real time simulation and pilot based evaluations are available for the development of flight control computer prior to real flight tests, there are still many risky factors. The control law designed for prototype aircraft often leads to degraded performance from the initial design objectives, therefore, the proper evaluation methods should be applied such that flight control law designed can be verified in real flight environment. The one proposed in this paper is IFS(In-Flight Simulator). Currently, this system has been implemented into the F-18 HARV(High Angle of Attack Research Vehicle), SU-27 and F-16 VISTA(Variable stability. In flight Simulation Test Aircraft) programs. This paper addresses the concept of switching mechanism for FLCC(Flight Control Computer)-SWMC(Switching Mechanism Computer) using 1553B communication based on flight control law of advanced supersonic trainer. And, the fader logic of TFS(Transient Free Switch) and stand-by mode of reset '0' type are designed to reduce abrupt transient and minimize the integrator effect in pitch axis control law. It hans been turned out from the pilot evaluation in real time that the aircraft is controllable during the inter-conversion process through the flight control computer, and level 1 handling qualities are guaranteed. In addition, flight safety is maintained with an acceptable transient response during aggressive maneuver performed in severe flight conditions.

New trend called ubiquitous leads the recent business by standardization and integration. It should be the main issue how to guarantee the integration and accountability on each business, especially in mission critical system which is mainly supported by M2M (Machine to Machine) control mechanism. This study is from the analysis of digital forensics case study that is from the M2M Sensing Control Mechanism problem of the "Imjin River" case in 2009, where a group of family is swept away to death by water due to M2M control error. The ubiquitous surroundings bring the changes in the field of criminal investigation to real time controls such as M2M systems. The needs of digital forensics on M2M control are increasing on every crime scene but we suffer from the lack of control metrics to get this done efficiently. The court asks for more accurately analyzed results accounting high quality product development design. Investigators in the crime scene need real-time analysis against the crime caused by poor quality of mission critical systems. It seems to be every need of Real-Time-Enterprise, so called ubiquitous society on the case. We try to find the efficiency and productivity in discovering non-functional design defects in M2M convergence products focusing on three metrics in study model with quick implementation. Digital forensics system in present status depends on know-how of each investigator and is hard to expect professional analysis on every field. This study set up a hypothesis "Co-working of professional investigators on each field will qualify Performance and Integrity" especially in mission critical system such as M2M and suggests "Online co-work analysis model" to efficiently detect and prevent mission critical errors in advance. At the conclusion, this study proved the statistical research that was surveyed by digital forensics specialists around M2M crime scene cases with quick implementation of dash board.

This paper proposes that the relative transmittance and emission intensity measured via optical emission spectroscopy (OES) is a useful for fault detection of reactive ion etch process. With the increased requests for non-invasive as well as real-time plasma process monitoring for fault detection and classification (FDC), OES is suggested as a useful diagnostic tool that satisfies both of the requirements. Relative optical transmittance and emission intensity of oxygen plasma acquired from various process conditions are directly compared with the process variables, such as RF power, oxygen flow and chamber pressure. The changes of RF power and Pressure are linearly proportional to the emission intensity while the change of gas flow can be detected with the relative transmittance.

Most thickness measurement techniques using X-ray radiation are unsuitable in field processes involving fast-moving organic films. Herein, we propose a Compton scattering X-ray radiation method, which probes the light elements in organic materials, and a new simple, non-destructive, and non-contact calibration-free real-time film thickness measurement technique by setting up a bench-top X-ray thickness measurement system simulating a field process dealing with thin flexible organic films. The use of X-ray fluorescence and Compton scattering X-ray radiation reflectance signals from films in close contact with a roller produced accurate thickness measurements. In a high-thickness range, the contribution of X-ray fluorescence is negligible, whereas that of Compton scattering is negligible in a low-thickness range. X-ray fluorescence and Compton scattering show good correlations with the organic film thickness (R2 = 0.997 and 0.999 for X-ray fluorescence and Compton scattering, respectively, in the thickness range 0-0.5 mm). Although the sensitivity of X-ray fluorescence is approximately 4.6 times higher than that of Compton scattering, Compton scattering signals are useful for thick films (e.g., thicker than ca. 1-5 mm under our present experiment conditions). Thus, successful calibration-free thickness monitoring is possible for fast-moving films, as demonstrated in our experiments.
This study is a case study in which the interactive non-face-to-face classes using Edutech were applied to the Department of Christian Education. The subjects were 20 students from the Christian education department of A University located in the metropolitan area. The course was 'Instructional Methods and Educational Technology' in the first semester of 2020. In theory, I studied non-face-to-face classes and interaction, and edutech and interaction. Afterward, it designed and developed interactive non-face-to-face classes using edutech. The interactive non-face-to-face classes using edutech were developed as a process of applying Flipped-PBL based interactive edutech. In addition, Edutech was selected for active interaction according to the Flipped-PBL process to be carried out in a non-face-to-face situation. In particular, in the process of developing the problem of PBL, it was built around the situation of the church. As a result of applying the class, first, learners showed high satisfaction and interest in the class. Second, positive transference appeared in the space of learning and the space of living. Third, interactive non-face-to-face classes using Edutech have generated active interaction. In particular, interactive edutech and learning methods have become the main factors enabling active interaction. Through this, learners have improved learning efficiency, immersion, and satisfaction. Also, as an alternative to face-to-face classes, I was able to experience online classes. In other words, the satisfaction and interest of learning, and the transference of learning space, were also possible through active interactions generated through learning methods using interactive Edutech used in class. Furthermore, disabilities in the online communication(Internet) environment and learners' unfamiliarity with the online environment have been found as factors that hinder learning satisfaction and interaction. During learning, obstacles to the online communication environment hinder the utilization of interactive Edutech, preventing active interactions from occurring. This results in diminishing satisfaction and interest in learning. Therefore, we find that designing interactive non-face-to-face classes using Edutech requires sufficient learner learning and checking of the online communication(Internet) environment in advance for Edutech and learning methods. In response, this study confirmed the possibility by applying interactive non-face-to-face classes using Edutech to Christian education classes as an alternative method of education that allows active interaction and consistent transference of learning and life. Although it is a case study with limited duration and limitations of the number of people, I would like to present the possibility as an alternative Christian education method of an era where the direction of online classes should be presented as an alternative to a face-to-face class.
Most of the courses that teach the Python programming language are liberal arts courses that all students in general universities must complete. Through this, non-major students who have learned the basic programming process based on computational thinking are strengthening their convergence capabilities to apply SW in various major fields. In the previous research results, various evaluation methods for understanding the concept of computational thinking and writing code were suggested. However, there are no examples of evaluation problems, so it is difficult to apply them in actual course operation. Accordingly, in this paper, a Python basic programming curriculum that can be applied as a liberal arts subject for non-majors is proposed according to the ADDIE model. In addition, the case of evaluation problems for each Python element according to the proposed detailed curriculum was divided into 1st and 2nd phases and suggested. Finally, the validity of the proposed evaluation problem was analyzed based on the evaluation scores of non-major students calculated in the course to which this evaluation problem case was applied. It was confirmed that the proposed evaluation problem case was applied as a real-time online non-face-to-face evaluation method to effectively evaluate the programming competency of non-major students.

The cause of the majority of vehicle accidents is a safety issue due to the driver's inattention, such as drowsy driving. A forward collision warning system (FCWS) can significantly reduce the number and severity of accidents by detecting the risk of collision with vehicles in front and providing an advanced warning signal to the driver. This paper describes a low power embedded system based FCWS for safety. The algorithm computes time to collision (TTC) through detection, tracking, distance calculation for the vehicle ahead and current vehicle speed information with a single camera. Additionally, in order to operate in real time even in a low-performance embedded system, an optimization technique in the program with high and low levels will be introduced. The system has been tested through the driving video of the vehicle in the embedded system. As a result of using the optimization technique, the execution time was about 170 times faster than that when using the previous non-optimized process.

Recently, monitoring respiration of people has been of interest using non-invasive method. Among the vital signals usually used for indicating health status, non-invasive and portable device based monitoring respiratory status is practically useful and enable one to promptly deal with abnormal physical status. This paper proposes the approach to real-time detection of apnea signal based on Short-Time-Fourier-Transform(STFT). Contrary to the analysis of a signal in frequency domain using Fast-Fourier Transform, this paper employs Short-time-Fourier-Transform so that frequency response can be analyzed in short time interval. The respiratory signal is acquired using UWB radar sensor that enables one to obtain respiration signal in contactless way. Detection of respiratory status is carried out by analyzing frequency response, and classification of respiratory status can be provided. In particular, STFT is employed to analyze respiratory signal in real-time, leading to effective analysis of the respiratory status in practice. In the case of existence of noise in the signal, appropriate filtering process is employed as well. The proposed method is straightforward and is workable in practice to analyze the respiratory status of people. To evaluate the proposed method, experimental results are provided.
