물리적 특성에 따른 공동주택에서 도로교통소음의 추정모델에 관한 연구 (A study on Providing the Estimation of the road traffic noise in the apartment according to physical characteristics)

  • The ambient noise in modem society is the factor to give people serious influence. Noise barriers installation is mostly used in the apartment estate to protect countermeasure about the road traffic ambient noise. The purpose of this study is to suggest reference data fur design of traffic noise reduction in apartment estate. It finds out how the traffic noise is measured about a noise barriers and physical characteristics. The 57dB was measured from the noise barriers in a 2m point. An ambient noise's of the part to belong noise attenuation is big at the sound arresting area of the noise barriers as the distance far.

  • W-대역 도파관 잡음원 교정을 위한 잡음 측정 시스템을 구성하고, 기본적인 특성에 대하여 논하였다. 잡음 측정 시스템은 상용 잡음 지수 분석기, W-대역 주파수 변환기, 그리고 국부발진기로 구성되어 있다. 일반적으로 잡음원 교정에는 Y인자법이 사용된다. Y인자법에서는 잡음 수신 시스템의 출력이 입력 잡음 전력과 선형적이라는 가정을 전제한다. 그러므로 잡음 측정 시스템의 선형성은 시스템의 성능을 결정하는 기본적인 파라미터이다. 잡음 측정 시스템의 선형성은 믹서부, 중간 주파수(IF)부, RF부로 나누어 평가하였으며, 각각 0.24 dB, 0.05 dB, 0.20 dB이다. 또, 잡음 측정 시스템의 잡음 지수는 7~17 dB로 평가되었다. 이 잡음 측정 시스템은 잡음원 교정뿐만 아니라, 여러 가지 전기전자 소자, 기기, 그리고 시스템의 잡음 특성 평가에도 활용될 것이다.

  • Modal participation factor (MPF) is a widely used in a mode-coupling squeal noise problem for finding the most sensitive component over a complex brake system in a vehicle using eigenvectors of sub-components. This methodology requires the problematic total response of system by the unstable squeal noise at a specific frequency as well as eigenvectors of each component belonging to brake system. In this paper, a unit-force response analysis is performed for intact total system to obtain eigenvectors of each component and then such data is directly used for the contribution analysis of a squeal noise problem. Since the eigenvectors of each component induced from virtual unit-excitation is most reliable owing to the intact boundary condition, it can be expected that the corresponding contribution analysis with MPF also provides a trustworthy result.

인간의 신체특성에 따른 반응속도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reaction Speed according to Human Physical Condition)

  • 본 연구는 인간의 물리적인 요소(머리너비, 가슴너비, 팔길이 등)에 따른 반응속도의 변화에 대해 다룬다. 본 연구에 따르면, 머리 앞뒤 너비나 팔길이 등의 요소들은 반응속도에 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 너비에 해당하는 요소들은 인간의 반응속도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 평가되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 특수상황에 보다 우수한 작업자를 선정하거나, 운동선수를 테스트 없이 우선적으로 선정하는 데 사용될 수 있다. 또한, 본 연구의 결과는 인간정보전달 경로상의 노이즈라고 명명된 채널 노이즈와 시간과의 관계를 규명하기 위한 채널 노이즈 타임분석을 위해 사용될 수 있다.

  • The sliding door and plug door are the main types of door system in the EMU(Electric Multiple Unit). The sliding door is widely used in Korea but has weak point in the noise problem. In the low operation speed, the noise coming from outer side of the EMU is not an important factor. As the speed is higher than before, noise is increased and make an issue. The main cause of noise is the imperfect air tightness in the EMU. The plug door system has advantages for the noise reduction characteristic in the high speed area. Actually the noise level is an important factor for the passenger comfort. In this paper, we will describe the characteristic of electric plug door and functions of sub component.

Efficient Noise Estimation for Speech Enhancement in Wavelet Packet Transform

  • In this paper, we suggest a noise estimation method for speech enhancement in nonstationary noisy environments. The proposed method consists of the following two main processes. First, in order to receive fewer affect of variable signals, a best fitting regression line is used, which is obtained by applying a least squares method to coefficient magnitudes in a node with a uniform wavelet packet transform. Next, in order to update the noise estimation efficiently, a differential forgetting factor and a correlation coefficient per subband are used, where subband is employed for applying the weighted value according to the change of signals. In particular, this method has the ability to update the noise estimation by using the estimated noise at the previous frame only, without utilizing the statistical information of long past frames and explicit nonspeech frames by voice activity detector. In objective assessments, it was observed that the performance of the proposed method was better than that of the compared (minima controlled recursive averaging, weighted average) methods. Furthermore, the method showed a reliable result even at low SNR.

  • It is well known that tire/road factors have a large influence on overall tire performance. In this paper, the basic study on the effects of tire/road factors on the pass-by noise performance of tire labeling has been carried out through experimental tests. The tire pass-by noise is affected by road characteristic factors, especially greatly influenced by road friction coefficient, and the next dominant factor is road chipping size. For several authorized pass-by noise test tracks, the pass-by noise correlation test has been done to know the test site effect, which results in 2~3dB(A) variation of pass-by noise level. Finally, it is shown that the winter tire is differently influenced by the pass-by noise test track characteristics, as compared to all-season tire and summer tire.

  • The electro-magnetic noise generated from fan-driving motor is one of important items in view of abnormal noise which affect the quality of air conditioner noise. The electro-magnetic noise of the outdoor unit is identified by the serial experiments for related parts, whose effects are verified to give proper measures for reduced noise level. The weight of fan appears to be the most important factor, and the stiffness of the frame, such as motor bracket is shown to be important also.

Improvement of Noise Performance in Phased-Array Receivers

  • This paper presents a new analytical approach and experimental verification for the improvement of noise performance in phased-array receivers. For analysis purposes, a multi-channel array system is converted into an equivalent single-channel system, such that the two presents the identical signal and noise powers at the output, respectively. We define an effective gain, noise figure, and signal-to-noise ratio in the equivalent system. Through the proposed approach, the noise performance of the array receiver is analyzed in a general and straightforward manner and then compared to that of each individual array channel. In addition, the phase noise of the array system is analyzed in a rigorous manner, showing its effective reduction by a factor of the array size. The predicted improvement of the noise performance is experimentally confirmed with a CMOS integrated phased-array receiver.

고신뢰성과 저위상잡음을 갖는 전압제어 발진기의 설계 및 제작 (Design of Voltage Controlled Oscillator with High Reliability and Low Phase Noise)

  • 본 논문에서는 낮은 위상잡음과 고신뢰성을 갖는 전압제어 발진기를 비선형 설계하였으며 그 위상잡음을 Lesson식과 비교하여 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. 전압제어 발진기의 위상잡음을 개선하기 위하여 유전체 공진기와 결합하는 마이크로 스트립 라인을 고임피던스 변환기를 이용함으로써 공진회로의 Q값이 그대로 능동소자에 전달되도록 하였다. 또한 worst case 해석 및 part stress 해석을 수행함으로써 전압제어 발진기의 신뢰도를 높였다. 제작된 전압제어 발진기는 0$\~$12 V의 제어전압에서 0.56 MHz/V의 튜닝대역을 가지고 있으며 160 mW의 DC 전력을 소모한다. 또한 -116.5 dBc/Hz @100KHz와 -96.51 dBc/Hz @10KHz의 우수한 위상잡음 특성과 7.33 dBm의 출력을 얻었다.
