  • With the reform of records management law, the organization should manage a new criteria scheme of record management based on business task and process. The new criteria scheme includes business explanation, preservation period, cause of setting up preservation period and opening information, access authority, keeping records or not. In the past, there were also some regulations and criteria but, records management criteria should be managed systematically and rationally than past in electronic environment. In this study, some previous cases about records management criteria constructing and operating were introduced first. And various characters about records management criteria were reviewed after that, process sample and methodology were proposed for construction of each criteria. If the records management criteria were constructed properly according to goals and objectives of records management and the results were managed through electronic system, the consistency of records management will be kept well and value changes of business and records will be reflected dynamically.

  • Folklife archival science(folklife: Folklore is generally used in Engish-speaking countries but it has a strong meaning as remnants of former times. That's why I am useing the term-folklife instead of folklore in this paper. I think folklife is more appropriate term for expressing studies on daily life culture and also my intention to unite the both word in this paper) is a new academic movement, I propose, which is intended on convergence of advantage of folklife and archival science. In other words, taking advantage of the two branches of study(folklife, archival science), it becomes a practical studies which systematically organize records, preservations and application on living culture in any community. It demonstrate deeply on archiving and archive and It conducts a probe into records, preservations and applications. It is a method of technical study in order to record communities like village, rural society and modern city. In the mean time, there is no well defined and established methodology for archival science and for folk-area or community archiving. And therefore, It needs a research methodology in a folklife. In the other hand, there is a lack of a theoretical basis, methodological strategy and clear vision over folklife and field survey or method of survey. Therefore, converging advatage of the two studies(folklife, archival science), we can combine professionalism of community archiving and methodological strategy together.

  • Echinostome metacercariae were investigated in freshwater snails from 26 districts in 7 provinces of upper northern Thailand. The species identification was carried out based on the morphologies of the metacercariae and adult flukes harvested from experimental hamsters, and on nucleotide sequences of internal transcribed spacer 2 (ITS2) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide dehydrogenase subunit 1 (nad1) genes. Twenty-four out of 26 districts were found to be infected with echinostome metacercariae in freshwater snails with the prevalence of 40.4%. The metacercariae were found in all 6 species of snails, including Filopaludina martensi martensi (21.9%), Filopaludina doliaris (50.8%), F. sumatrensis polygramma (61.3%), Bithynia siamensis siamensis (14.5%), Bithynia pulchella (38.0%), and Anenthome helena (4.9%). The echinostome metacercariae found in these snails were identified as Echinostoma revolutum (37-collar-spined) and Echinostoma macrorchis (45-collar-spined) morphologically and molecularly. The 2-week-old adult flukes of E. revolutum revealed unique features of the cirrus sac extending to middle of the ventral sucker and smooth testes. E. macrorchis adults revealed the cirrus sac close to the right lateral margin of the ventral sucker and 2 large and elliptical testes with slight indentations and pointed posterior end of the posterior testis. The ITS2 and nad1 sequences confirmed the species identification of E. revolutum, and the sequences of E. macrorchis have been deposited for the first time in GenBank. The presence of the life cycle of E. macrorchis is a new record in Thailand and the snail F. doliaris as their second intermediate host seems to be new among the literature.

  • A paradigm shift in teaching modular construction in higher education and K-12 is proposed as a means to increase the future adoption of the modular construction technique. To this effect, a new education module is presented to STEM educators. This education module is based on LEGOs and directed towards educators in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. The main objectives of the education module are to increase interest and knowledge of modular construction, acknowledge the benefits of using 3D design with 4D scheduling, and create a simulating hands-on educational opportunity. The education module is designed to allow participants to experience a hands-on simulation of modular construction and stick-built construction through building a LEGO project. Participants are challenged to find the advantages and disadvantages in both construction systems first-hand and record their findings. Results are presented from the preliminary testing of this education model on a group of construction management students at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Overall, the survey results showed that the LEGO education module was successful at achieving the project's three main objectives: 1) increasing the participants' interest and knowledge of modular construction through an interactive project; 2) increasing the participants' understanding of the benefits of 3D design with 4D scheduling over the use of 2D drawings; and 3) creating a simulating hands-on educational opportunity to help participants compare modular construction to stick-built construction. In the end, this proposed a new LEGO education module addressing the problems identified from this study with more participants.

  • Two genera of the Rhodymeniales, Halopeltis and Leptofauchea, are here reported for the first time from the Hawaiian Islands and represent the deepest records for both genera. Molecular phylogenetic analyses of cytochrome oxidase subunit I (COI), rbcL, and large subunit ribosomal DNA (LSU) sequences for Hawaiian specimens of Leptofauchea revealed one well-supported clade of Hawaiian specimens and three additional lineages. One of these clades is described here as Leptofauchea huawelau sp. nov., and is thus far known only from mesophotic depths at Penguin Bank in the Main Hawaiian Islands. L. huawelau sp. nov. is up to 21 cm, and is the largest known species. An additional lineage identified in the LSU and rbcL analyses corresponds to the recently described L. lucida from Western Australia, and is a new record for Hawai'i. Hawaiian Halopeltis formed a well-supported clade along with H. adnata from Korea, the recently described H. tanakae from mesophotic depths in Japan, and H. willisii from North Carolina, and is here described as Halopeltis nuahilihilia sp. nov. H. nuahilihilia sp. nov. has a distinctive morphology of narrow vegetative axes that harbor constrictions along their length. The current distribution of H. nuahilihilia includes mesophotic depths around W. Maui, W. Moloka'i, and the island of Hawai'i in the Main Hawaiian Islands. Few reproductive characters were observed because of the small number of specimens available; however, both species are distinct based on phylogeny and morphology. These descriptions further emphasize the Hawaiian mesophotic zone as a location harboring many undescribed species of marine macroalgae.

  • It is highly useful in an actual clinical setting to apply appropriate medical terms to every area of electronic medical record (EMR) and link them effectively, as a single medical terminology system cannot cover all medical concepts. In order to use standardized terms conveniently and efficiently, it is required to categorize them depending on the purpose of individual departments or physicians and thereby develop organized subsets of extracted terms highly likely to be used. In addition, it is important to such a subset to make it possible to change or correct standardized terminology system and continue to develop and upgrade to meet renewed demands of users. In this paper, data including chief compliant, symptoms, diagnosis, operation, and history of previous treatments were collected from discharge summary of patients with Department of Neurosurgery at Busan National University Hospital for analysis. In addition, subset database was created, and for terms needed to be added, the physician directly performed mapping through connection with reference terminology server and developed subset editor for the purpose of creating new subset database. Therefore, it is expected that this can serve as a practical and effective management method to reduce problems and inefficiency caused by existing vast terminology system.

  • Sting (Gordon Sumner) is a British musician and singer-songwriter. He was the principal songwriter, lead singer, and bassist for the new wave rock band 'The Police' from 1977 to 1984, before launching a solo career in 1985. With his stylish and sophisticated sensibility and musical spectra, he achieved 100 million album sales. In this thesis, after he disbanded the group THE POLICE, his career as a solo artist with his wide variety of musical colors has been acknowledged for his reputation over more than 30 years. Therefore, I analyze 'Sting' of music included in 'Straight To My Heart' and 'Be Still My Beating Heart' in. Songs in indicate that the drum part the tunes that there is in a record doesn't break away from the basic way of music. The role of the whole rhythm division through the various percussions or can see a synthesizer than the role as the cord musical instrument that there are lots of tunes placing a great deal of weight on the role as the rhythmic musical instrument more. The unique instrument-based rhythm of the early Sting and role dispensation create a unique sound that is quite different from what the musician subsequently recorded. The feature and rhythmic characteristic, which is the arrangement that appeared outstandingly in this record, I am trying to explain about the way in which I lead the basic flow of the tune through the rhythm division of the other musical instruments which I split that is, the drum beat and break away from a rhythm from the divided general way and include a percussion.

  • This used a new method to capture the neighbouring relationship among parcels. To define the neighbouring relationship, all the surrounding parcels in the study area can be identified as neighbours of the current parcel as long as they touch each other even at a point. To examine neighbouring parcels on all polygons of the study area, this study used ArcViews avenue programming which visited each polygon in turn and produced an outfile containing the parcel record ID and the contents of each of the adjacent parcels. The second thing is to translate the record IDs of neighbouring parcels into land use. For this, this study used the Lookup function in Excel to obtain neighbouring land use. To deal with how to calculate the ratio of each land use to neighbouring land uses, this study used Visual Basic. finally, this study considered a term of neighbour land use as the ratio of the number of urban use adjacent parcels to the total number of adjacent parcels. This study shows that GIS and spatial analysis can be applied to land use change in the urban fringe area at a very detailed level using municipal parcel data which occupies about 80% of administrative affairs, especially at the local government level in Korea. The results of analysis can be useful for local government to understand its situation and to manage land use efficiently in the urban fringe. The methodology developed in this study is especially useful for an empirical approach.

  • The establishment of invasive alien species management is widely recognized as a pivotal issue in the preservation of biodiversity. Ranunculus sardous Crantz, a species native to Europe, has been widely introduced in many other areas of the world, including the coasts of the United States, Australia, China, India, and Japan. In Korea, the first population of this plant was found growing adjacent to a wetland in Hanon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Province, on 22 May 2018. Field observations confirmed the presences of at least two populations of this species in Jeju Province, Korea. This species is similar to Ranunculus sceleratus L., but can be readily distinguished by its presence of the trichomes in the whole plant, longer petioles of radical leaves, ovate-shaped leaf segments, globose to subglobose-shaped fruits and flat achenes with narrowly winged and papillae. The Invasive Alien Plant Risk Assessment (IAPRA), a system for recognizing and categorizing alien plants in Korea forests, was used to assess the invasiveness status of the species. Based on this system, R. sardous received a low score of 6, suggesting its potential invasion to natural forests. Although the current distribution of R. sardous is restricted to Jeju Province and thus far has had limited impact on local environments, local and regulatory authorities should pay close attention to this plant and take measures to prevent its further expansion.

  • The purpose of the present study was to document the standardization and management process of interface terminology regarding the chief complaints, diagnoses, and procedures, including surgery in a four-hospital consortium. The process was proposed, discussed, modified, and finalized in 2016 by the Terminology Standardization Committee (TSC), consisting of personnel from four hospitals. A request regarding interface terminology was classified into one of four categories: 1) registration of a new term, 2) revision, 3) deleting an old term and registering a new term, and 4) deletion. A request was processed in the following order: 1) collecting testimonies from related departments and 2) voting by the TSC. At least five out of the seven possible members of the voting pool need to approve of it. Mapping to the reference terminology was performed by three independent medical information managers. All processes were performed online, and the voting and mapping results were collected automatically. This process made the decision-making process clear and fast. In addition, this made users receptive to the decision of the TSC. In the 16 months after the process was adopted, there were 126 new terms registered, 131 revisions, 40 deletions of an old term and the registration of a new term, and 1235 deletions.
