난배양성 토양세균을 위한 신배양기술의 고찰과 향후 발전 방향 (Review and Future Development of New Culture Methods for Unculturable Soil Bacteria)

  • 고찰을 통해 난배양성 토양세균의 특징과 배양에 성공한 사례 및 성공하기 위해 알아야 될 지식들이 무엇인지에 대해 기술하였다. 먼저 배지는 목적한 세균이 토양에서 느리게 성장하다가 실험실의 빠른 성장조건으로 전환하도록 알맞게 선택되어야 하는데 일반적으로 기질, 질소 및 인 등의 농도를 낮게 조절해야 한다. 새로운 배지를 만들기 위해서는 분자생태학적 연구도 병행되어야 한다. 세균 세포 간 음성적 상호작용을 줄이기 위해 평판배양 시 접종량도 평판 당 세포수가 50개 이하로 조절해야 한다. pH나 염농도 같은 성장조건은 실제 환경조건과 맞춰야 하며 배양온도는 낮거나 다양하게 그리고 배양기간은 길게 잡아야 한다. 새로운 배지에서 분리될 수많은 토양 미생물 콜로니들 중에서 단지 몇 개만이 난배양성이므로 이들이 기존에 배양이 되지 않았던 미생물인지를 신속 정확히 검출하는 방법이 필요하다. 또한 많은 토양세균들이 군집 내에서 서로 협력하며 살아가기 때문에 공동배양이나 상등액을 이용해서 토양 미생물을 농화증식하고 이를 순수 분리하면 배양에 성공할 수 있을 것이다.

한국 전통 꽃문양을 활용한 철릭형 신한복의 3D 텍스타일 디자인 개발 (Development of 3D Textile Design of New-Hanbok Chulic Dress Applying Korean Traditional Floral Pattern)

  • The purpose of this study is to implement the textile design applying the floral pattern shown in Korean traditional fabrics and the New-Hanbok Chulic Dress in 3D through a virtual fitting system. As a research method, first, we analyzed the floral pattern types of fabrics in the literature related to traditional Korean textiles. Second, we developed textile designs of traditional flower motifs using 13 extracted flower types. Third, we applied the floral textile designs to the 3D original form of new-Hanbok Dress produced based on design preference survey results. The findings derived through this study are as follows. First, among Korean traditional patterns, the type of flowers used in textiles were blossom of chrysanthemum, orchid, camellia, apricot, peony, peach, pomegranate, hydrangea, narcissus, lotus, plum, chinese rose, and rosa rugosa. Second, this study found that the value of traditional culture can be further increased by using traditional flower patterns as an infinite source of creative design. Third, it was confirmed that the new-Hanbok can be developed endlessly as a clothing design that combines various morphological modifications and patterns without departing from traditional designs. In the future, if the research on costume design using various items of traditional clothing and the development of textile designs based on traditional culture continues, the development of new clothes design that leads to the development of Korean traditional clothing culture and meets the sensibilities of modern people will be endless.

결혼이주여성 전통식문화 인식 및 교육방안 (A Study on the Awareness of Traditional Korean Food Culture among Immigrant Housewives to Design Educational Plans)

  • This study examines the awareness of traditional Korean food culture among immigrant housewives in multicultural families, with the aim of introducing educational plans suitably designed for them. Our survey shows that Korean traditional holidays most well-known to the immigrant housewives are New Year's Day and Chusuk. Sambok and Chusuk are at the top in terms of preference. Samgyetang, Ddukguk, and Ogokbab are among the best known festive food to immigrant housewives for holidays such as New Year's Day, Jeongwol Daeboreum, Sambok, Chusuk, and Dongji; Samgyetang is the most preferred food, followed by Ddukguk and Patjuk. In addition, a vast majority of immigrant housewives who have ever attended Korean traditional cuisine education programs found the need for such an experience, with the score of 4.16 out of 5. In addition, the survey shows the order in which the immigrant housewives want to learn: the recipe of Korean food (53.5%), followed by table setting and manners (16.5%) and then nutrition (15%). The recipe of interest for most respondents is the one concerning daily food (69.5%). And more than half of the respondents prefer cooking practice as a desirable educational method. The difficulties that they have when attending such an educational course are usually inability to understand the language, difficulty in identifying the ingredients (seasonal), and lack of cultural understanding. The most preferred educational method is direct lecture (71.5%), followed by written materials such as books and newspaper (10.5%) and the Internet (9.5%). Finally, strategies for promoting traditional food culture are suggested as following: developing educational resources (31.5%), making various educational programs more available (25%), narrowing the cultural gap (22%), and improving the educational environment (21.5%). Therefore, this study proposes that there is a need to develop and diffuse Korean traditional food culture first, and then provide many immigrant housewives with a variety of educational programs. It is expected that these efforts will solve the problems caused by cultural differences in the early stage of international marriages and eventually contribute to the harmony in multicultural families.

'민족주의' 광고의 기호학적 분석 - 진 캐주얼브랜드 '잠뱅이'의 광고 연구 - (Semiotic Analysis of Jambangee's 'Nationalism'Advertisement)

  • Jambangee's advertisements in spring 1998 attracted public attention by the differentiating message of 'nationalism'. The purpose of this paper is to interpret Korean youth's culture of consumption, value, thought and culture expressed in these advertisements. The semiotic analytic method of F. Saussure and R. Barthe were used. Metaphor and metonymy as interpretive tools were used. Two levels of meaning, denotation and connotation were examined, and idelogies and mythologies were sought. Contrary to the most of jean advertisements which show youth, characteristic style, western life style and westernized beauty, refinement, materialism, and social differentiation, Jambangee's advertisement showed nationalism and patriotism. These advertisements criticized that preference of imported goods and ostentation of purchasing power brought crisis of economy and I.M.F. system. Jambangee's jeans symbolized as the meaning of nationalism and patriotism were suggested as a way to save our country. Jambangee's advertisements are meaningful. Because we had accepted western fashion passively so far, but for the first time Jambangee applied Korean design elements to jeans and gave new meanings to them through the 'nationalism'campaign.

  • As of today-half a century has passed after 1945, the liberation from Japanese imperialism-it's significant to introspect our culture. On the one hand our culture has succeeded due to the peculiar history, but on the other hand it hasn't. So to speak, it has gained in Quantity but lost in Quality. There are keen, international competition and exchange in the modern culture. So the Qualitive success of modern design depends on if it had an original character or not. According to Korean rapid industrialization, technological extence, and economic growth, the export has increased greatly, but package design hasn't been match for them. Korean expoters have been meeting with cutthroat competition in world market. Under these circumstances it's very important that we have a real understand and interest in our culture, we strengthen the competitive power of home products with good package design. This is our age of not home market but world market. We live in an age when design wins, so that we have to develop the good design native to Korea. Many designers have proposed their opinions with the characteristic designs, but it has been only a fragmentary and passive method. We must seek for the new method more positively. The effective and proper method resolves itself into the following four points. First, to understand Korean history and culture. Second, to have the exact grip of this economic situation. Third, to promote the national emotion. Fourth, in conclusion, to accord the package design with them. We cannot put off this task to overcome the cultural subordination, to place Korea on a firm cultural basis in the world, and to contribute to the cultural exchange of package design. Chinoketides A and B, Two New Antimicrobial Polyketides from the Endophytes of Distylium chinense with the "Black-Box" Co-culture Method

  • Two new polyketides, chinoketides A and B (1 - 2) with a known compound xylarphthalide A (3), were isolated from the solid medium of the endophytes from the leaves of the relic plant Distylium chinense with the "black-box" co-culture method, and the structures of two new compounds were elucidated by NMR, MS and CD spectra. And the absolute configurations of chinoketides A (1) and B (2) were determined as 2R,3R,8S and 5R,6S by calculating their ECD spectra to compare with the experimental CD spectra. Finally, the antimicrobial activities were evaluated to Erwinia carotovora sub sp. Carotovora (Jones) Bersey et al, and the results showed that compounds 1 - 3 displayed the antimicrobial activities with MIC value at 20.5, 30.4 and $10.2{\mu}g/mL$.

Study of Mental Disorder Schizophrenia, based on Big Data

  • This study provides academic implications by considering trends of domestic research regarding therapy for Mental disorder schizophrenia and psychosocial. For the analysis of this study, text mining with the use of R program and social network analysis method have been used and 65 papers have been collected The result of this study is as follows. First, collected data were visualized through analysis of keywords by using word cloud method. Second, keywords such as intervention, schizophrenia, research, patients, program, effect, society, mind, ability, function were recorded with highest frequency resulted from keyword frequency analysis. Third, LDA (latent Dirichlet allocation) topic modeling result showed that classified into 3 keywords: patient, subjects, intervention of psychosocial, efficacy of interventions. Fourth, the social network analysis results derived connectivity, closeness centrality, betweennes centrality. In conclusion, this study presents significant results as it provided basic rehabilitation data for schizophrenia and psychosocial therapy through new research methods by analyzing with big data method by proposing the results through visualization from seeking research trends of schizophrenia and psychosocial therapy through text mining and social network analysis.

  • 새 집으로 이사를 가거나 집, 사무실 등의 벽지나 바닥재를 바꿨을 때, 인테리어 공사를 한 뒤에 나타날 수 있는 코를 찌르는 매캐한 냄새와 눈이 따가워지는 등의 현상이 새집증후군으로 새집을 장만한 기쁨을 누리는 것도 잠시 뿐이다. 새 건축물이나 새 가구에 사용되는 건축자재, 접착제, 벽지, 페인트 등에서 나오는 휘발성 유기화합물들은 거주자들의 건강과 실내 생활의 불쾌감을 유발시킨다. 이 휘발성 유기화합물들은 대표적 물질인 포름알데히드를 비롯하여 벤젠, 톨루엔, 아세톤, 스틸렌 등이 포함되어 있고 이러한 물질들은 장시간에 걸쳐 서서히 방출되어 거주자들에게 급성 또는 만성적인 질환을 야기한다. 유기 휘발성 물질들의 제거 방법으로는 흡착을 이용한 물리적 방법과 휘발성 물질을 다른 물질로 전환시키는 화학적 방법 또는 두 가지가 혼합된 방법이 주로 사용된다. 본 논고에서는 반응물질의 반응속도와 생성물의 방출을 제어하는 방법으로 얻어지는 서방형의 이산화염소 젤팩과 최적화된 홀 경을 가진 제올라이트 흡착제를 혼용하여 공기 중에 부유하는 포름알데히드를 흡착, 분해시켜 제거하는 효과적인 방법에 대하여 제안하는 바이다.

벨 에포크와 다다이즘 - 근대문화의 총체와 해체 (Belle Epoque and Dadaism in the Modern Culture)

  • The article is a research about the Belle Epoque era and Dadaism in the modern culture as a whole and separate. The years from 1890s to 1914, is known as the Belle Epoque era, in which the European continent including France had developed the climax of the modern culture after the Renaissance. At the same time, it was the period where the postmodern developments were being spread, leading to the present days. Moreover, the main ideologies in art that led to the cultural advancement of the time were impressionism, cubism, art nouveau, evolutionized painting category, symbolism and futurism. It was a literature category that was maintained to present Dadaism and surrealism. Dadaism began since the magazine, Bulletin Dada was published, originating in 1916 by Tristan Tzara of Zurich, Switzerland during the WWI. The extreme motto that the Dadaists supported was a contradiction, as they had to dissolve from their own art movements and expression techniques. However, until Andre Breton introduced 'Manifeste du Surrealisme' in 1924, the "Dada group" had a tremendous influence in France as an epicenter and rejected the modern cause and art that continued during the time, thus attempting its dissolution. First, they rejected the ideology, ethics and customs of rationalism from the previous system and demonstrate an anarchical and anti-bourgeoisie characteristic. They also reject the French lucid thoughts and the artistic techniques. They strongly emphasized on their motto "The idea is created from the mouth", while reframing from the philosophical ideology and at the same time, attempting to express the psychical unconsciousness. Second, the most important catchphrase that the Dadaists supported was the theory of negation. The question "Why do you write?" connotes the negative consciousness about the artistic value and the stereotyped method of the preexisting writing and drawing. Third, the Dadaists bring forward a radical query about all of the former esthetic and morals, and reveal an admirable resistance spirit. They emphasized on the slogan "Dada, means nothing" and insist on 'the anti-literal Dada, anti-artistic Dada, anti-musical Dada'. The Dadaist movement manifested their resistant spirit and the new artistic spirit through the publication of , , and most importantly through the magazine . Fourth, the Dadaists embodied the volume, density, and quality into an image through the auto-technical, cubistic writings and drawings. They ignored the fixed form of arrangements, verses, and rhymes of a poetic diction. The Dadaists utilized an unfamiliar and inversed expression method of applying the combination of the size of print, or capital letters and lowercase letters, even combining printed and handwritten writings. As presented, the auto-technical and cubistic characteristic of expressing the auto-psychical ideology into writing is called as the radical aesthetic and moral and can be considered as the most essential cause of the Dadaists' avant-garde features. As a conclusion, Dadaism demonstrated dual characteristics of consuming the nutritive elements of the modern culture through the most powerful resistance and liberation of the artistic movement of the Belle Epoque era, where at the same time, it deconstructed the modern art. By revolting against the former grounds and expression techniques, and dominating the era with the new artistic spirit, their resistant actions were artistic movements that symbolized the dissolution of the modern times. Moreover, the Dada's expressionism and resistance of saying "There's nothing" can be evaluated as postmodernity's initiative of outweighing the modern history and opening the door for new period of nowadays.

  • Science & Technology(S&T) is the most important thing to attain competitiveness in the 21st century, Our traditional S&T policies have been focused on hardware infra structure. we should consider software of S&T to enhance effectiveness. S&T should be had a correct understanding method of the creation for S&T culture. It implies that S&T policy in the 21st century should consider nonmaterial factors which include social, human, environmental and culture. Under this background, The purpose of this paper is to seek new S&T policy in the 21st century. Therefor this paper deals with how we can prepare for the future S&T policy and classify the change of S&T policy of Korea and analyze the characteristic of each phase. This paper argues that all actors (for example, S&T personnel, corporate using S&T, general public) should participate in the process of S&T innovation since the 21st century is the generation of the general public S&T. Also this paper presented the expanded S&T policy Right S&T policy could leads to diffuse right S&T culture. Diffusing S&T culture could accomplish expanded S&T policy which was considered phases of culture and welfare.
