  • Six specimens of Bathygobius hongkongensis were collected for the first time from the eastern coast of Jeju Island, Korea, in September-November 2017. This species is characterized by a pectoral fin with free rays and the division of the first dorsalmost pectoral free ray into three branches; a lower jaw with a mental frenum; and an anterior nostril with a tiny flap. Bathygobius hongkongensis is similar to B. fuscus but differs in having more dorsalmost free pectoral fin rays. The new Korean name proposed for B. hongkongensis is "Nam-bang-mu-nui-mang-duk."

  • One specimen of Epinephelus areolatus, belonging to the subfamily Epinephelinae of the family Serranidae, was collected by a hook from commercial longline fisheries in the coastal waters of Jeju Island, Korea. This species is mostly similar to E. chlorostigma, but the former is distinguished from the latter by having larger brown spots and a white posterior margin on the caudal fin. We propose a new Korean name "Dae-moon-ba-ri" for E. areolatus.

  • A single specimen (59.3 mm in SL) of the family Gobiesocidae was collected from the northern coast of Jeju Island, Korea. It was identified as Lepadichthys frenatus by its having dorsal and anal fins with 17 and 13 rays, respectively, both fins connected to the caudal fin, and a reddish-brown body color. We describe the specimen as the first record from Korea, and propose a new Korean name "keun-ip-hak-chi" for the species.

  • Seventeen specimens (29.1~50.7 mm SL) of the starry goby, Asterropteryx semipunctata, were collected from the southern coast of Jeju Island, Korea, and described as the first record from Korea. The species is characterized by having separated pelvic fins, five to eight short spines on posterior margin of preopercle, and numerous blue spots on head, body and unpaired fins except for first dorsal when fresh. We proposed a new Korean name, 'Cheong-byeol-mang-duk', for the species.

  • Based on a single specimen collected from the northern coastal waters of Jeju Island, we described Hemiramphus far as the first record from Korea. The specimen shows a elongated body with a prolonged lower jaw, 13 dorsal fin rays, 11 anal fin rays, 36 predorsal scales, and silvery white body with five black bars laterally and yellowish color on posterior part of lower jaw, tips of dorsal fin and upper caudal lobe. "Geom-mu-neui-hag-gong-chi" is proposed as a new Korean name for the species.

  • Clerodendrum ervatamioides C. Y. Wu was described in 1977 with its type locality in Yunnan, China. During our floristic investigation in the Muong Nhe Nature Reserve of Vietnam of Dien Bien province and in the Muong Te district of the Lai Chau province, we collected several specimens of Clerodendrum ervatamioides, marking the first record of its occurrence in Vietnam. In this paper, details of the morphological features, distribution, ecology, photo plates, and a table comparing the morphological features with its ally Clerodendrum garrettianum Craib are provided.

  • The existing cadastral record cannot meet various and changing demands on land information, improve user convenience, and raise administrative efficiency. In addition, three-dimensional parcels, or spatial objects about three-dimensional space cannot be registered in the conventional cadastral record. The limitation of cadastral information based on two dimensions is quite stressing the necessity of three-dimensional cadastral record. The purpose of this study is to develop new limns of cadastral record model in order. In register three-dimensional positions and right relations of land and buildings. This study examined land cases where space was being three-dimensionally used. As the result, cadastral record models both separated by steps and integrated were developed, which can contain matters of land, buildings, and right registration about three-dimensional land parcels. Also, this study suggested a method where a building can be separately registered according to it's the superficies division.

  • This paper aims to introduce the case of operating electronic document system and record management system as one system called i-Works at Korea Midland Power Company. i-Works combines intelligent services, such as artificial intelligence and a chatbot, as a supplementary tool for record management. As such, the preparation process and progress direction for the development of the record management system is introduced, an in-depth review of real-time transfer and utilization of the functional classification system to enhance the utilization of the current records is presented, and new technologies, such as artificial intelligence for an efficient management of the increasing number of electronic records, are established.
