조.만생 Orchargrass 품종의 생육특성과 수량성 및 사료가치 비교 연구 (Growth Characteristics , Yield , and Nutritive Value of Early- and Late Maturing Cultivars of Orchargrass ( Dactylis glomerate L. ))

  • This experiment was carried out to determine growth characteristics, dry matter (DM) yield, seasonal yield distribution and nutritive value of early- and late maturity orchardgrass, 1990 to 1992. The cultivars used in this study were Potomac, Hallmark (early maturing cultivar) and Lidacta, Rancho (late maturing cultivar), and a mixture plot (Potomac 25% + Hallmark 25% + Lidacta 25% + Rancho 25%) was involved. The seeding rate was 20 kgha in all treatments. Plant height of Potomac and Hallmark was longer than that of Lidacta and Rancho. The dates of initial heading and 50% heading of early maturing cultivars (Apr. 30 and May 10) were 10 days earlier than those of late matuing cultivars. Potomac and Hallmark were upright, and Lidacta and Rancho were semi-upright type, and severe disease and weeds (30 ~ 40%) were observed at Lidacta plot. On an average of three years, the DM yields of Potomac (10,549 kglna), Hallmark (10,435 kg) and mixture (10,356 kg) were significantly (P<0.05) higher than those of Rancho (9,457 kg) and Lidacta (8,218 kg). However, seasonal yield distribution of late maturing cultivars was better than that of early maturing cultivars. The contents of crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, nitrogen %ee extract, aude ash, neutral detergent fiber, P, K, Ca, and Mg were not significantly different between cultivars, but higher aude protein yield was found at Potomac, Hallmark and mixture plots. Based on the above results, it may be concluded that early maturing cultivars for high productivity, late maturing cultivars for seasonal yield distribution, and seeding of mixture andlor separation of early- and late maturing cultivars are recommended. Also Lidacta was a not promising cultivar due to low productivity, severe disease, and high weeds development.

  • This study aims to offer base line data for efficient conflicts control measures by first, analyzing the current situation of the regional comprehensive development project and second, identifying level, type and cause of the conflicts appeared during the development business promotion. For this purpose, theoretical side of this study establishes a basic frame by reviewing the existing researches in order to analyze the characteristics of the conflicts between the participation subjects in the development business, and the empirical side conducts survey and analysis on the awareness on these conflicts. As a result of the analysis, the survey revealed the followings. First, the respondents were aware of the overall promotions of the business quite positively, second, the conflicts were considered as a major obstacle against the development project promotion just as the other negative factors, third, majority of the responses on the seriousness of the conflicts were neutral which meant that the conflicts could be deepened by situations, fourth, most respondents had positive recognition on the needs of conflict control training and its effectiveness, and last but not least, most respondents of the survey revealed their intentions to take parts in trouble shooting from the conflicts. Based on the results above, we were able to extract several elements to consider preparing the countermeasures for the conflicts. First, specific plan should be arranged and institutionalized in order to control the conflicts between the residents at the initial stage of the development business or even before. Second, the specific plan must lower its threshold for easy participation of the residents in that region and make the residents main body of the conflict control. Third, enhanced conflict control education must be provided to the residents of the region where comprehensive development plan is in progress or being prepared.

한국산(韓國産) 고등(高等) 균류(菌類)의 성분(成分) 연구(硏究) (제 57보(第 57報)) 구름버섯 항암성분의 비교 (Studies on Constituents of Higher Fungi of Korea(L VII) Comparison of Various Antitumor Constituents of Coriolus versicolor)

  • 구름버섯 배양균사체와 야생 구름버섯 자실체로부터 얻은 protein-bound polysaccharide의 당과 단백질 함량을 비교하였을 때 배양균사체인 경우보다 야생 자실체의 경우가 당 함량이 더 높게 나타났으며 단백질 함량은 더 적게 나타났다. 구름버섯에서 부터 얻은 시료를 methanolysis시킨 후 HPLC로 분석하였을 때 배양균사체인 경우 4종류의 단당이 경출되었고 그중 mannose가 가장 함량이 많은 반면 야생 자실체인 경우 3종류의 단당이 경출되었으며 그중 glucose가 가장 많이 존재하였다. 구름버섯에서부터 얻은 시료에 lactose가 혼합되었을 경우 HPLC로 구별할 수 있었다. 구름버섯에서 얻은 시료의 구성 아미노산을 분석하였을 때 시료 모두에서동일한 17종의 아미노산이 검출되었다.

산성 pH 충격 스트레스에 의한 스트랩토마이세스 시에리컬러 M511의 프로디지닌 생산 증대 (Enhanced Prodiginines Production in Streptomyces coelicolor M511 by Stress of Acidic pH Shock)

  • 운데실프로지닌과 스트래토루빈 B는 S. coelicolor가 생산하는 붉은색 항생물질이다. 이번 연구에서 이들 붉은색 항생제의 생산성과 pH shock 스트레스와의 상관관계를 연구 하였다. 운데실프로디지닌과 스트랩토루빈 B의 생합성은 고체 R2YE 배지에서 산성 pH shock에 의해 증가되었다. 최적 pH shock은 pH 4로 비교군과 비교하여 각각 1.6배 및 2배 운데실프로디진과 스트랩토루빈 B의 생산성이 증가되었다. 게다가, 산성 pH 4의 세포 추출물은 T. mentagrophytes 에 대한 주목할만한 저항 활성을 나타내었다. 그러나, 중성 및 염기성 pH shock에서는 이들 항생제의 생산성뿐만 아니라 항진균 활성 증가가 일어나지 않았다. 그러므로, 비록 산성 pH shock이 간단하고 쉬운 방법이지만, 이들 붉은색 항생물질과 다른 이차대사산물의 생산성 향상에는 매우 효과적인 접근방법일 것이다.

Antithrombin Active Polysaccharide Isolated from the Alkaline Extract of Red Ginseng

  • 홍삼으로부터 염기성 수웅액 추출, 음이온교환 크로마토그래피 및 겔여과 크로마토그래피를 순차적으로 수행하여 항트롬빈 활성을 보이는 다당체를 분리하였다. 이 다당체는 셀룰로스 아세테이트막을 사용한 전기영동에서 하나의 띠로 나타나 비교적 순수하게 정제되었음을 알 수 있었고, 겔여과 크로마토그래피에서 결정된 평균 분자량은 약 177kDa이었다. $40.2\%$의 유론산, $9.2\%$의 황산기 및 $1.5\%$의 단백질을 포함하는 산성다당체였고, 구성 중성당으로 rhamnose, mannose, galactose, arabinose, glucose, fucose, xylose를 1.00 : 0.88 :0.86 : 0.78 : 0.70 : 0.33 : 0.22의 비율로 포함하고 있었다. 이 다당체는 트롬빈에 의한 피브리노겐의 응고를 농도에 비례하여 저해하였고, 혈장을 사용한 실험에서 내인성 경로를 통해 혈액응고를 저해하는 것으로 나타났다.

새싹보리 클로로필의 색 안정화 (Color Stability of Chlorophyll in Young Barley Leaf)

  • To improve the color stability of chlorophyll in young barley leaf used as functional green biomaterial, the absorption spectrum, color values, and antioxidative activities of young barley leaf (YBL) treated with zinc ion solutions were investigated. The small pieces of fresh YBL in aqueous solution mixtures were autoclaved twice at $110^{\circ}C$ for 30 min (pH 5). Distilled water (BLA), 0.01% zinc chloride (BLAZ), 0.01% zinc citrate (BLAC), and 0.01% zinc lactate (BLAL) solutions were used. Treated YBL powders were extracted with 80% EtOH for 4 h. Chlorophyll a and b contents differed with different treatments. BLA decreased chlorophyll a and b contents, whereas others were maintained. Absorbance spectrums of chlorophyll at 400~700 nm showed different maximum peak wavelengths. After heating in acidic and neutral solutions (pH 3, 5, and 7), the colors of YBL and BLA changed from green to olive green, whereas BLAZ, BLAC, and BLAL remained green color. The antioxidative activities showed higher values in YBL extract than in treated extracts. From the above results, autoclaved YBL in zinc solution would increase the color stability and maintain green color regardless of acid and heat treatments.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characters and images of Picasso's muses, to extract the color chip from the works of Picasso, and to apply these results to fashion design. The study includes a literature review, an analysis of visual materials. The results are as follows. Fernande, who was cheerful and voluptuous, was depicted with pink-brown, a few browns, grey, black, white, and green and represents an ethnic and elegant image. Eva, a star-crossed lover, was depicted with a few browns, black, and pale-yellow and represents a gorgeous and natural image. Olga, who was jealous and sickly wife, was depicted with a few blues, browns and neutral-color and represents a classic and dandy image. Th${\acute{e}}$r${\grave{e}}$se, who was innocent and sweet, was depicted with the bright and pastel colors of red, green, violet, and yellow and of white, blue, brown, and black and represents a romantic, pretty, and casual image. Dora, who was intellectually and emotionally- challenging, was depicted with the strong colors of red, yellow, green, and blue, which are in contrast to black and also to white, grey and brown and represents a wild and dynamic image. Gilot, who was strong-willed and prideful, was depicted with the symbolic color of green, a color contrasting with black and white, grey, and pale brown and represents a clear, cool casual and modern image. Jacqueline, the self-giving and reclusive wife, was depicted with deep red, blue, green, black, white, dark brown, grey represents a formal, dandy, and chic image.

  • 감성분석 (sentiment analysis) 혹은 오피니언 마이닝 (opinion mining)은 블로그, 리뷰, 신문기사나 소셜네트워크 등의 문서에서 개인의 주관적인 정보 혹은 의견을 알아보는데 사용되는 텍스트 마이닝의 기법이다. 평점이 있는 온라인 리뷰에서 리뷰 텍스트에 기반한 평점의 분류문제에 대한 선행연구에서는 이진 분류만을 고려하였다. 그러나 긍정과 부정 외에도 중립적인 의견도 있을 수 있기 때문에 이진 분류보다는 다범주 분류가 더 적합할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 리뷰 텍스트에 기반한 평점의 다범주 분류문제를 고려한다. 전처리에서는 카이제곱 통계량을 이용하여 평점과 연관된 단어들을 추출하고 이를 입력변수로 삼아 지지벡터기계 (support vector machines)와 비례오즈 모형 (proportional odds model) 등 다범주 분류기의 예측력을 비교한다.

Phenolic Compounds from the Flower Buds of Camellia japonica

  • Hot water extracts of Camellia japonica flower buds were found to have the higher 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity than the other solvent extracts. Five phenolic compounds were isolated and purified from the ethyl acetate soluble-neutral fraction of hot water extracts by Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography and octadecyl silane-high performance liquid chromatography using the guided assay of DPPH radical scavenging. Based on mass spectrometer and nuclear magnetic resonance, the isolated compounds were identified as p-hydroxybenzaldehyde (1), vanillin (2), dehydroxysynapyl alcohol (3), 7S,7'S,8R,8'R-icariol $A_2$ (4), and (-)-epicatechin (5). Four compounds (1-4) except for 5 were newly identified in this plant. Their DPPH radical scavenging activities as 50% scavenging concentration decreased in order to 5 $(20\;{\mu}M)>{\alpha}-tocopherol$ $(29\;{\mu}M)>4$ $(67\;{\mu}M)>3$ $(72\;{\mu}M)>1=2$ ($>250\;{\mu}M$). These results indicate that the antioxidant effect of the hot water extract of C. japonica flower buds may partially due to 5 isolated phenolic compounds.

Streptomyces tubercidicus에 존재하는 stu I endonuclease의 정제와 특징 (Purification and Characterization of stu I Endomuclease from Streptomyces Tubercidicus)

  • Type II제한효소 Stu I을 순수정제하고 그 효소적 특성을 연구하였다. 100g(we weight)의 Streptomyces tubercidicus(ATCC 25502)로부터 얻은 crude extranct를 ammonium sulfate fractionation한 후, DEAE-Sephadex(A-50), QAE-Sephadex(A-50) 그리고 Heparin-agarose의 순서로 column chromatography를 수행하여 1,2mg의 비특이성 nuclease가 없는 Stu I 제한효소를 얻었다. 이 시료에 포함되어 있는 다른 오염 단백질은 Sephadex G-100 column으로 gel filtration 하여 제거함으로써, 순수한 Stu I 단백질을 얻을 수 있었다. 정제된 Stu I 제한효소는 10% SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis 결과 한 개의 band로 나타났으며, 그 분자량은 34,000 $\pm$ 1,000 dalton이었다. 이 효소는 $Mg^{2+}$이온 존재하에 중성의 pH(7.0-8.0)에서 최대의 활성을 나타내었다. NaCl은 이 효소의 활성에는 필요하지 않았다.
