수학 선행학습이 학생들의 자기효능감, 성취동기 및 학업성취도에 미치는 영향 - 대학 영재교육원 학생들을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Effect of Gifted Students' Self-efficacy, Achievement Motivation and Academic Achievement for Mathematics Prerequisite Learning -Focused on the Science Education Institute for the Gifted, University-)

  • 현재 우리나라에는 영재교육을 받기 위하여 사교육과 선행학습을 받고 있는 기형적인 현상이 나타나고 있다. 이에 영재교육원 입학 이전의 수학 선행학습이 입학 이후의 영재교육원 학업성취도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 검토할 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 대학부설 과학영재교육원에서 수업을 받고 있는 학생들을 대상으로 수학 선행학습이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 영재교육원 학생들의 수학 선행학습 기간이 학업성취도와 자기효능감에 영향을 주지 못하였다. 둘째, 영재교육원 학생들의 수학 선행학습 기간은 성취동기에 유의미한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 선행학습기간과 학업성취도, 선행학습기간과 성취동기, 성취동기와 학업성취도 사이에는 유의미한 결과가 거의 없었으나 성취동기와 자기효능감 사이에는 강한 양의 상관관계가 나타났다.

과업집단의 특성 및 욕구와 역할반응 사이의 관계에 대한 연구 - 호텔종업원의 개인성격을 중심으로 - (A Study on The Relationship between Task Group Functioning and Role Conflict - The Personality of The Hotel Employee -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze how the task group functioning and need styles have influence on role conflict and role ambiguity as the employee's personality engaged in the service industry such as a hotel. This study uses the hierarchical regression analysis method. Data were collected by the survey method from employees engaged in the service industry such as a hotel located Seoul, the Province of Gyeonggi, and the Province of Gangwon. The study result shows that to the employees in the type A and type X styles, the task group functioning and need styles are not significantly related to the role conflict. But to the employees in the type B style, the task group functioning and need styles are significantly related to the role conflict. And the result shows that to the employees in the type B style, the lower the faith in peers and management, the more the role conflict occur. On the other hand, the study result shows that to the employees in the type A styles, the task group functioning is significantly related to the role ambiguity. And to the employees in the type B style, the higher the faith in peers and management, the more the role ambiguity occur. On the contrary, to the employees in the type X style, need styles are significantly related to the role ambiguity. But to the employees in the type X style, the higher the need for achievement, the more the role ambiguity occur. On the other hand, the study result shows that to the employees in the type B styles, the task group functioning and need styles are significantly related to the role ambiguity. And to the employees in the type B style, the higher the need for achievement, the more the role ambiguity occur or the lower the confidence in peers and management, the more the role ambiguity occur. Although this study provides several managerial implications, this study has some limitations. Specifically data were collected from only the hotel industry in Seoul, the Province of Gyeonggi, and the Province of Gangwon. In spite of the limitations, the study results could be used valuably in case of the personnel managers which manage the employees under the conflict situations.

웹 기반의 상처간호 전자교과서에 의한 자가학습의 학업성취도 평가 (Evaluation of Student Learning Achievement through Self Study Using a Web-based Wound Care E-book)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate self-study learning achievement in undergraduate nursing students who used a web-based wound care e-book. Method: The web-based wound care e-book was applied to 80 nursing students at Y university. The students studied the wound care e-book for four weeks and practiced wound dressing by themselves in open laboratory. Learning achievement was evaluated according to achievement of unit objectives and performance of an actual wound dressing. Result: 1. The total mean score for achievement of unit objectives was 3.06 (${\pm}0.41$) and the total mean score on the performance of the wound dressing was 89.40 (${\pm}5.47$). 2. There was no difference between the scores in the performance test (F=1.012, p=.366) for students who used self-study and those who were given a lecture. 3. A positive correlation was found between achievement of unit objectives and performance of the wound dressing (r=0.306, p<0.05). Conclusion: The web-based wound care e-book was effective in facilitating self-study for nursing students, and there is a need to continuously develop and up-date web-based nursing education e-books to facilitate self-study.

초등학교 6학년 학생들의 수학적 정당화의 필요성에 대한 인식과 수학적 정당화 수준 (6th grade students' awareness of why they need mathematical justification and their levels of mathematical justification)

  • In this study, we suggest implications for teaching mathematical justification with analysis of 6th grade students' awareness of why they needed mathematical justification and their levels of mathematics justification in Algebra and Geometry. Also how their levels of mathematical justification were related to mathematic achievement. 96% of students thought mathematical justification was needed, the reasons were limited for checking their solutions and answers. The level of mathematical justification in Algebra was higher than in Geometry. Students who had higher mathematic achievement had higher levels of mathematical justification. In conclusion, we searched the possibility of teaching mathematical justification to students, and we found some practical methods for teaching.

기업가특성과 기업성과 간의 관계에 대한 창업보육서비스의 조절역할에 관한 연구 (A Study on Moderating Role of Business Incubating Service in Relationship between Entrepreneurs' Characteristics and Business Performance)

  • 본 연구는 창업보육센터 입주기업의 기업가를 대상으로 첫째, 기업가의 심리 특성(성취욕구, 위험감수성향)이 기업 성과에 영향을 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 둘째, 기업가의 역량 특성(비전, 기회인지, 사회적적응력, 네트워크빈도 및 신뢰정도)이 기업 성과에 영향을 미치는가를, 마지막으로 창업보육서비스가 기업가 특성(심리 특성, 역량 특성)과 기업성과 간 조절효과가 있는가에 대하여 규명하였다. 연구결과에 의하면 기업가의 심리 특성 중 성취 욕구는 기업 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 위험감수 성향은 기업 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 기업가의 역량 특성 중 기업가의 비전과 사회적 적응력, 네트워크 신뢰 정도는 기업 성과에 영향을 미치지 않으나, 기업가의 기회인지 능력과 네트워크 빈도는 기업 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고 기업가의 심리 특성 중 성취 욕구는 창업보육서비스 조절 효과에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 기업가의 역량 특성 중 비전과 네트워크 신뢰 정도와 기업 성과의 관계에서 창업보육서비스는 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

집단적 요인과 개인적 요인이 갈등관리유형 선호에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (An Effect of the Group and Personal Factors on the Preference of the Conflict Handling Styles)

  • This study is to categorize five types of conflict handling styles that employees can take when conflict occurs. The five types are integrating, avoiding, dominating, obliging, and compromising. I found these factors that explain conflicts handling styles divided them into organizational structure, task group functioning and need styles and how certain factors explain different kinds of conflict handling styles without other factors. To measure conflict handling styles, this study used the scale of conflict style devised Rahim. Data were collected by the survey method from employees engaged in the service industry located Seoul, the Province of Gyeonggi, and the Province of Gangwon. In addition, in order to prove my hypothesis, I used hierarchical regression analysis method to find the pure explanation that each factors have without multicollinearity. According to the study's result, in a person's type of needs, if the need for achievement is high, they prefer integrating style. In contrast, if the need for achievement is low, they prefer avoiding style. Also, if the need for affiliation is high, the employees prefer compromising style. But if the need for affiliation is low and the need for dominance is high, the employees favor dominating style. However, in task group functioning, group homogeneity, group cohesiveness, and group goal clarity are high, or the confidence in peers and management is high, the employees prefer obliging style to other conflicts handling styles. As well as if group homogeneity, group cohesiveness, and group goal clarity are high, it was found that they prefer compromising style. Also, if the role conflict that is related to organizational structure is serious, employees prefer obliging style, but they have weakenss in explanation. To sum up these results, if the employees have obliging style that shows lack of concerns over themselves and at the same time, have high concerns to others, is affected by task group or organization. And we can infer that the other conflicts handling styles are effected by personal characteristic.

아동의 기질 및 주장적 행동과 어머니의 양육행동이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Child Temperament, Assertive Behavior, and Maternal Parenting Behavior on Academic Achievement in Late Childhood)

  • The purpose of the present study was to examine mechanisms by which the characteristics of child temperament influences academic achievement in late childhood. It was hypothesized that the effects of child temperament on achievement would be mediated by assertive behavior on the part of children and maternal parenting behavior. Data for this study came from self-report questionnaires completed by 657 elementary school children (343 boys, 314 girls). The results of structural equation modeling demonstrated that child temperament affected academic achievement through both assertive behavior and maternal parenting behavior; this was evidenced across the entire sample. Child temperament (approach-withdrawal, mood quality, persistence) also had a number of positive effects on assertive behavior (directiveness, social assertiveness, defense of rights and interests) and maternal parental behavior (warmth-acceptance, guidance). These results were found to be the case for both boys and girls. The results of this study further revealed that maternal parenting behavior mediated the relationship between child temperament and achievement for boys, whereas assertive behavior played the same role for girls. These findings suggest the need for different approaches in developing programs to improve levels of academic achievement which give due consideration to child temperament and social behavior as well as parenting, based on child gender.

Effect of Exam Anxiety, Academic Stress and Alcohol Dependence on Academic Achievement of Nursing Students

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is that the college age is an important transition period from youth to adulthood. Nursing students are unfamiliar with their field of study and need to adapt to a large amount of academic and practical training, so that they can have a better college life. An attempt was made to determine the effect of exam anxiety, academic stress, and alcohol dependence on the academic achievement of nursing students. Research design, data, and methodology: The subjects of the study were 130 students from all grades who agreed to participate in the study after expressing convenience among students attending the Department of Nursing at a university in Gyeongnam. The data collection period was from August 15 to September 15, 2023. It was about a month. The data investigation was conducted through a self-report survey. Results: Results showed that significant variables included exam anxiety, academic stress, alcohol dependency, parent relationships, peer relationships, and major satisfaction, explaining a total variance of 31.9%. Among these, the most influential factor was academic stress (β=-.352). Conclusions: This study identify factors influencing the academic achievement of nursing college students and hopes to contribute to formulating strategies for their growth and competence development.

소상공인의 경영성과에 미치는 영향 요인 연구 : 사회적자본의 조절효과 (A Study on Factors Influencing the Management Performance of Small Business Owners : The Moderating Effect of Social Capital)

  • 소상공인이 한국 경제에서 차지하는 비중과 경기 침체로 인해 소상공인의 어려움을 감안해 볼 때 소상공인의 경영성과는 생존을 위해 매우 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 소상공인의 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해 실증분석을 했다. 실증분석을 위해 소상공인의 개인적 특성 중 혁신성, 관리능력, 성취욕구, 기술능력을 독립변수로 설정하였고, 여기에 추가하여 소상공인의 제품차별화 요소를 설정하였다. 이러한 변인들이 소상공인 경영성과에 영향을 미침에 있어서 사회적 자본의 조절효과도 함께 분석하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 소상공인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 250부를 본 연구에 활용하였다. 실증분석은 SPSS 24.0을 활용하여 위계적 회귀분석 방법으로 하였다. 실증분석결과는 다음과 같다. 소상공인의 관리능력, 성취욕구 및 제품차별화는 경영성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 혁신성과 기술능력은 유의성이 검정되지 않았다. 경영성과에 영향을 미친 변인의 영향력 크기는 제품차별화, 관리능력, 성취욕구 순으로 나타났다. 사회적자본의 조절효과는 관리능력, 성취욕구와 경영성과 간 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 사회적자본은 이들 관계를 강화하는 것으로 분석되었다. 반면, 혁신성, 기술능력, 제품차별화와 경영성과 간 사회적자본의 조절효과의 유의성은 검정되지 않았다. 이러한 연구 결과는 한국 소상공인 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 소상공인의 관리능력, 성취욕구 및 제품차별화의 중요성을 밝혀낸 것이다. 또한 소상공인이 가지고 있는 사회적자본에 따라 이러한 영향 관계가 달라질 수 있음을 밝힌 것으로 어려운 경제 환경 속에서 소상공인 경영성과를 향상시킬 수 있는 기초를 제공했다는데 본 연구의 의의가 있었다.

'우리 몸의 구조와 기능' 애니메이션 제작을 활용한 프로그램 개발 및 적용 효과 (The Development and Application Effects of STEAM Program Utilizing Animation Production about 'Structure and Function of the Our Body')

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of STEAM program on students' academic achievement, creative problem-solving ability, scientific inquiry ability and scientific interests of elementary school students. For this, we developed a STEAM program to utilize animation production about 'structure and function of the our body' unit in 5th grade. The STEAM program was developed for a total of 9 sessions and was applied to the experimental group. The theoretical lesson of the 2009 revised curriculum was consisted of 11 sessions and was applied to the comparative group. The results of study showed significant differences of the students' academic achievement, creative problem-solving ability to the experimental group participating in the STEAM program and also showed significant effects in the domains of subject contents and teacher preference, which are the areas of scientific interests compared to the comparative group. This means that the STEAM program to utilize animation production about 'structure and function of the our body' developed in consideration of the characteristics of elementary students positively influenced the academic achievement, creative problem-solving ability and scientific interests of elementary school students. In the future we need to develop STEAM programs more variously that utilize animation production and that it needs to be applied to elementary schools.
