The internal structure is subjected to dynamic analysis due to the structural integrity. The internal structure shall be installed in the vertical hole call IR1 of reactor core. In order to verify the deflection of the internal structure, the mode and response spectrum analysis of the internal structure was performed. The natural frequency of the internal structure is 11.6 Hz(mode 1 and 2) and deflections of the internal structure are less than values of allowable design (3.2 mm).

The objective of this study is structural analysis and modal analysis of treadmill roller. A 3D finite element model is implemented to calculate the stress, strain and natural frequency for treadmill roller In order to analyses treadmill roller, many variables such as load condition, boundary condition, weight condition and resonance are considered. Natural frequency of treadmill is compare to motor revolution.

A numerical method for determining the temperature vartiation in a natural gas transmission line is presented. By considering an element of the gas pipeline and assuming radially lumped heat transfer at steady-state conditions, the energy equation is developed. The integration of the developed nonlinear differential equation is done numerically using the fourth order Runge-Kutta scheme. The results of the present study have been compared with the results of Coulter equations, and show a fairly good agreement.

In order to assign NMR signals, conditions for the specific labeling of cytochrome $c_3$ of D. vulgaris Miyazaki F through the culture in a minimal medium were established. Phenylalanine residue was specifically deuterated at more than 85% efficiency. Cytochrome $c_3$ has two phenylalanine residues. The signals of one phenylalane were missing and this was tentatively assigned to Phe20.

An analysis of the turbo-blower shaft attached to fuel cell using 3-D FEA (Finite Element Analysis) is proposed by Lanczos algorithm. The modal analysis was peformed in order to investigate natural frequencies for 10 times. It is found that the first mode of natural frequency is 111.243 and the maximum displacement is 0.16mm Consequently, It is found that the dynamic design of turbo-blower shows a good responses transiently.

As an application of dimensional analysis in the theory of chaos and fractals, we studied and estimated the information dimension for various phonemes. By constructing phase-space vectors from the time-series speech signals, we calculated the natural measure and the Shannon's information from the trajectories. The information dimension was finally obtained as the slope of the plot of the information versus space division order. The information dimension showed that it is so sensitive to the waveform and time delay. By averaging over frames for various phonemes, we found the information dimension ranges from 1.2 to 1.4.

A phytosociological study was carried out at the Castanopsis-Machilus type forests in Cheju Island. As the result, it has become clear that the alliance Castanopsion sieboldii and Cleyero-Quercion salicinae classified into the order Ardisio-Castanopsietallia sieboldii and the class Camellietae japonicae are distributed in Cheju Island. The Castanopsion sieboldii include Quercus glauca communiy, Arisaemato ringentis-Persetum thunbergii, Castanopsis sieboldii-Machilus thunbergii community and Castanopsis sieboldii-Quercus glauca community. The Cleyero-Quercion salicinae contains Distylio-Quercetum salicinae.

Measuring the river flow and water quality in the midstream of the Nakdong River, the natural purification status in examined through the analyses of the elements which affect the variation of dissolved oxygen, and DO model is evaluated to the midstream reach of the river. The major results of this study are as follows; the pruification factor of the of the river is relatively high, it is worried over eutrophication considering much production of algae, and it is evaluated that important factor affecting the DO value computed by the proposed DO model are in order of reaeration coefficient, carbonaceous BOD and deoxygenation constant.
