Farm succession in the next generation has profound implications for the future structure of the agricultural industry and the procurement of agricultural human resources. Therefore, this study sought to suggest the policy directions for farm succession through investigating the foreign policies and comparing it with Korean policies. The followings were derived from the comparison analysis. First, support is required in establishing master plans for farm succession from operators to successors. Second, it is needed to develop and disseminate effective model for farm succession. Third, an assistance policy for farm households without successors should be initiated. Fourth, the fragmentation of farmland ownership should be counteracted.

More government's policy supports than current are necessary time first of all because Korea game industry is growing vigorously centering around On-line game and Mobile-game. Korea Government is progressing game industry promotion policies actively, and these may accelerate developed speed of Korea game industry in the near future. But, we are time that feedback of government's game industrial policies is necessary now through comparison with game industry policy of Northeast Asia area game Industry policy of area. Therefore, In this paper we did study improvement assignment of Korea game industrial policy through comparison with Game industrial policies of the Korea, China and Japan.
This study aimed to systematically adjust rural area development projects that have been carried out by a variety of government departments for activation of rural areas and overcome inefficient problems caused by the policies and projects promoted separately. As its alternative, this study aimed to explore efficient improvement scheme of rural villages associated with various projects. Major agriculture/rural policies and projects that have been promoted were classified by the target space of the policies and projects as Environment space, living space, and production space. Each space was categorized into five sub-items without duplication. By assessment results of rural area improvement level and preference by Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method, maintenance of rural areas was classified into four types. And outer space structure was analyzed by using Space Syntax Method(SSM). Based on the analysis result above, facilities for improvement of rural villages were placed around representative facilities. Facility allocation was based on selection and concentration in terms of facility maintenance and on type attributes in terms of spatial aspects. And finally, alternatives schemes for setting up the basic direction of improvement of rural villages are local area characteristics and environmentally conscious business plan.
This study was conducted to investigate priority recognition of experts and related facility operators in establishing policies for revitalizing agro-healing services. After reviewing related studies, 5 policy division and 19 detailed sector were drawn, including improving accessibility, improving promotion and information provision method, improved public relations and information provision, diversification of facility and program, financial support, and expansion of expert and specialized institutions. A questionnaire survey was conducted on agro-healing experts, agro-healing facility operators, social welfare experts, and social welfare facility operators. The AHP analysis indicated that agro-healing experts and facility operators had the highest priority in the division of expansion of expert and specialized institutions, while social welfare experts and facility operators had the highest priority in financial support. The IPA analysis was conducted to identify the priority of each policy sector. Respondents recognized above normal importance to policy divisions, but were relatively aware of the importance of improving accessibility, with overall satisfaction level appearing to be moderate. The results of this study are expected to provide useful information for establishing agro-healing policies and for establishing effective strategies.

In this paper, we study the dysfunctions of cryptography as dual-use goods and national domestic encryption control policies like key recovery system and decryption order. And we examine risks of the breach of the peoples' constitutional rights like the right to privacy in these policies and analyze these policies by applying the principle of the ban on the over-restriction. Finally, we propose the direction and requirements of our national domestic encryption control policy that maintains the balance of peoples' constitutional rights and investigatory powers.

South Korea is at an important juncture in its history to decide whether to continue its investment to become a first-mover of artificial intelligence (A.I.) platform technology or stay as a fast follower. This paper compares South Korea's A.I. platform capacity to that of the United States, China and the European Union by reviewing publicly opened documents and reports on AI platform strategies and policies using the three elements of the national innovation capacity: common innovation infrastructure, cluster-specific conditions, and quality of linkages. This paper found three major areas the South Korean government can focus on in the A.I. platform industry. First, South Korea needs to increase its investment in the A.I. field and expand its public-private collaboration activities. Second, unlike the U.S. and the U.K., South Korea lacks data protection policies. Third, South Korea needs to build a high-performance system and environment to experiment with artificial intelligence technology and big data.
This research aims at designing policy alternatives which would facilitate the supply of the national rental housing units, especially targeted for the low-income households who need special types of social support for their residences. In order to illuminate structural characteristics of the national rental housing policies, it heavily depends on collection of secondary survey data, in addition to existing documents. From the institutional dimension, it focuses on major issues related to the residential development, which is pivotal in supplying the required national rental housing units. Furthermore, applying causal loop diagramming techniques derived from the System Dynamics (SD), it tries to divulge dynamic relationships between key stakeholders including the government, developers and tenants. Finally, this research stresses the point that the government should fulfill its basic duty as a financial supporter and the developer should not procrastinate in providing diverse options, timely reflecting tenants' needs.

Reducing emissions across all sectors requires a well-designed policies tailored to fit specific national circumstances. And every climate policymaker would like to have an accurate method of assessing the quantitative impacts of future policies to address GHG-related problems. Estimates of future changes in a nation's GHG emissions, the expected environmental impacts of future energy sector developments, and the potential costs and benefits of different climate technology and mitigation policy options are desirable inputs to policy making. Various mitigation analysis and modeling approaches helped to fill the needs for these kinds of information, and as such has been an important part of national mitigation policy making in many countries for most of two decades. This paper provides a overview of GHG mitigation policies and mitigation analysis, and sectoral mitigation circumstances and potentials.
Considering the increasing global burden of disease attributable to nutrition, the demand for national nutrition policies is growing stronger and stronger. The Republic of Korea is beginning to respond to this growing demand and there have been numerous recent achievements in the area of nutrition. The purpose of this paper is two fold. In the first part of the paper, an overview is provided about existing nutrition action in Korea. In the second part, information is elicited from Korean experts in the field of public health and nutrition. A structured questionnaire was sent directly to renowned Korean experts and was disseminated through the list serve of the Korean Nutrition Society. It asked about existing nutrition related policies, obstacles to nutrition policies in Korea, which professions are 'responsible' for the prevention of nutrition-related diseases and for example about existing nutrition programs within settings. Twenty-two questionnaires were returned. Based on the results, the following actions were considered crucial to develop and implement a nutrition policy in Korea: having a clear advocacy strategy for nutrition to raise awareness about the importance of nutrition, increase transparency of nutrition-related action and make the information easily accessible for all stakeholders, ensure the enforcement of regulations regarding misleading and incorrect food advertisements, strengthening the (public health) nutrition workforce, strengthen the settings-based approach and build and maintain partnerships, and last not least: educate and empower the citizens and ensure that healthy choices are 'easy choices'! Acknowledging the past and ongoing efforts in Korea, it is pivotal that the nutrition workforce grows stronger and the voice of nutritionists even louder, in order to promote and ensure the health and quality of life of the country's citizens. For the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), predictive modeling, in the literature, uses broadly susceptible exposed infected recoverd (SEIR)/SIR, agent-based, curve-fitting models. Governments and legislative bodies rely on insights from prediction models to suggest new policies and to assess the effectiveness of enforced policies. Therefore, access to accurate outbreak prediction models is essential to obtain insights into the likely spread and consequences of infectious diseases. The objective of this study is to predict the future COVID-19 situation of Korea. Here, we employed 5 models for this analysis; SEIR, local linear regression (LLR), negative binomial (NB) regression, segment Poisson, deep-learning based long short-term memory models (LSTM) and tree based gradient boosting machine (GBM). After prediction, model performance comparison was evelauated using relative mean squared errors (RMSE) for two sets of train (January 20, 2020-December 31, 2020 and January 20, 2020-January 31, 2021) and testing data (January 1, 2021-February 28, 2021 and February 1, 2021-February 28, 2021) . Except for segmented Poisson model, the other models predicted a decline in the daily confirmed cases in the country for the coming future. RMSE values' comparison showed that LLR, GBM, SEIR, NB, and LSTM respectively, performed well in the forecasting of the pandemic situation of the country. A good understanding of the epidemic dynamics would greatly enhance the control and prevention of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. Therefore, with increasing daily confirmed cases since this year, these results could help in the pandemic response by informing decisions about planning, resource allocation, and decision concerning social distancing policies.
