Objectives : Since the first human infection from avian influenza was reported in Hong Kong in 1997, many Asian countries have confirmed outbreaks of highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza viruses. In addition to Asian countries, the EU authorities also held an urgent meeting in February 2006 at which it was agreed that Europe could also become the next target for H5N1 avian influenza in the near future. In this paper, we provide the general and applicable information on the avian influenza in the bioinformatics field to assist future studies in preventive medicine. Methods : We introduced some up-to-date analytical tools in bioinformatics research, and discussed the current trends of avian influenza outbreaks. Among the bioinformatics methods, we focused our interests on two topics: pattern analysis using the secondary database of avian influenza, and structural analysis using the molecular dynamics simulations in vaccine design. Results : Use of the public genome databases available in the bioinformatics field enabled intensive analysis of the genetic patterns. Moreover, molecular dynamic simulations have also undergone remarkable development on the basis of the high performance supercomputing infrastructure these days. Conclusions : The bioinformatics techniques we introduced in this study may be useful in preventive medicine, especially in vaccine and drug discovery.
Objectives The purpose of this review was to investigate constitutional medical research on tumors and to propose information for further research. Methods The literature was investigated from Oriental medicine advanced searching integrated system, China national knowledge infrastructure, and PubMed. The searching terms were cancer, tumor, neoplasm, Sasang constitution, and so on. And studies were collected and analyzed into the three parts of distributions, treatments, and preventions. Results The distribution and type of tumors were different depending on the type of Sasang constitution. The symptoms of a tumor can occur variously in all types of diseases or patterns. Preventing tumors and cultivating health should be considered all aspects of physical, mental, and social health in the Sasang constitutional concept of securing requisite energy of minor organs. Conclusions The Sasang constitutional medicine for treating tumors should be focused on strengthening the constitutional healthy energy considering personal characteristics.

With the feature of convenience and low cost, remote healthcare monitoring (RHM) has been extensively used in modern disease management to improve the quality of life. Due to the privacy of health data, it is of great importance to implement RHM based on a secure and dependable network. However, the network connectivity of existing RHM systems is unreliable in disaster area because of the unforeseeable damage to the communication infrastructure. To design a secure RHM system in disaster area, this paper presents a Secure VANET-Assisted Remote Healthcare Monitoring System (SVC) by utilizing the unique "store-carry-forward" transmission mode of vehicular ad hoc network (VANET). To improve the network performance, the VANET in SVC is designed to be a two-level network consisting of two kinds of vehicles. Specially, an innovative two-level key management model by mixing certificate-based cryptography and ID-based cryptography is customized to manage the trust of vehicles. In addition, the strong privacy of the health information including context privacy is taken into account in our scheme by combining searchable public-key encryption and broadcast techniques. Finally, comprehensive security and performance analysis demonstrate the scheme is secure and efficient.
Healthcare costs are continuously increasing due to longer life expectancy and providing global healthcare services through medical tourism is new service growth engine for Korea. Several countries have well established programs and infrastructure dedicated to medical tourism. South Korea is attempting to become a major player in this domain by undertaking broad initiatives. The success of medical tourism is greatly impacted by easy access to two types of information, namely, medical and travel information. The National Health Insurance System in Korea collects huge amount of clinical and financial information from all hospitals. However, this information does not get used effectively in health and travel information systems to support medical tourism. This paper provide clear process map of medical tourism to understand how the patient and information process both medical and tourism fields also describe the need of customer and service provider. In this paper, we develop a medical tourism service system that will promote information exchange and service delivery.

Digital Image Correlation technique (DIC) is a non-contact optical method for rapid structural health monitoring of critical infrastructure. An innovative approach to DIC is presented using QR (Quick Response) code based random speckle pattern. Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) beams of size $1800mm{\times}150mm{\times}200mm$ are tested in flexure. DIC is used to extract Moment (M) - Curvature (${\kappa}$) relationships using random speckle patterns and QR code based random speckle patterns. The QR code based random speckle pattern is evaluated for 2D DIC measurements and the QR code speckle pattern performs satisfactorily in comparison with random speckle pattern when considered in the context of serving a dual purpose. Characteristics of QR code based random speckle pattern are quantified and its applicability to DIC is explored. The ultimate moment-curvature values computed from the QR code based random speckled pattern are found to be in good agreement with conventional measurements. QR code encrypts the structural information which enables integration with building information modelling (BIM).

This paper proposes RSA cryptosystem based anonymous electronic prescription which is issued from university and local hospitals by authorized medical professionals. Electronic prescription is now being used in domestic hospitals where sharing medical records and images are prevailing, facilitated by digitalizing medical information and building network infrastructure between the institutes. Proposed RSA based anonymous electronic prescription makes use of PKI protects the identity exposure of doctors and privacy of patients. While traditional prescription fails to protect identities to mandates party or to health insurance, the proposed RSA based prescription opens the contents of the prescription to health insurance authority only after its prescribing function is finished. The proposed approach along with soon to be deployed electronic ID card will help national health insurance corporation to increase the transparency of national prescription system.

Medical technology development and increase the income level of a "Long and healthy Life=Wellness," with the growing interest in actively promoting and maintaining health and wellness has become enlarged. In addition, the demand for personalized health care services is growing and extensive medical moves of big data, disease prevention, too. In this paper, the main interest in the market, highlighting wellness in order to support big data-driven healthcare quality through patient-centered medical services purposes. Patients with drug dependence treatment is not to diet but to improve disease prevention and treatment based on analysis of big data. Analysing your Tweets-daily information and wellness disease prevention and treatment, based on the purpose of the dictionary. Efficient big data analysis for node while increasing processing time experiment. Test result case of total access time efficient 26% of one node to three nodes and case of data storage is 63%, case of data aggregate is 18% efficient of one node to three nodes.
In the era of the fourth industrial revolution technology, the inclusion of personalized nutrition for healthcare (PNH), when establishing a healthcare platform to prevent chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, cerebrovascular and cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, and inflammatory diseases, enhances the national competitiveness of global healthcare markets. Furthermore, since the government experienced COVID-19 and the population dead cross in 2020, as well as numerous health problems due to an increasing super-aged Korean society, there is an urgent need to secure, develop, and utilize PNH-related technologies. Three conditions are essential for the development of PNH technologies. These include the establishment of causality between obesity genome (genotype) and prevalence (phenotype) in Koreans, validation of clinical intervention research, and securing PNH-utilization technology (i.e., algorithm development, artificial intelligence-based platform, direct-to-customer [DTC]-based PNH, etc.). Therefore, a national control tower is required to establish appropriate PNH infrastructure (basic and clinical research, cultivation of PNH-related experts, etc.). The post-corona era will be aggressive in sharing data knowledge and developing related technologies, and Korea needs to actively participate in the large-scale global healthcare markets. This review provides the importance of scientific evidence based on a huge dataset, which is the primary prerequisite for the DTC obesity gene-based PNH technologies to be competitive in the healthcare market. Furthermore, based on comparing domestic and internationally approved DTC obese genes and the current status of Korean obesity genome-based PNH research, we intend to provide a direction to PNH planners (individuals and industries) for establishing scientific PNH guidelines for the prevention of obesity.
