While the operator's working environment employs the digital devices and technology which are not be fully digitalized due to its technical constraints, it has been changed to the hybrid environment in which digital and analog elements are combined. The hybrid environments need to study its characteristics and the guidelines for the proper design and evaluation purpose. This paper describes the characteristics and evaluation guidelines for hybrid environment through studying the characteristics of digital and analog environment based on the related human factor guidelines and literatures. The result of this paper would be applied for the human machine system such as main control room in nuclear power plant working under hybrid environment. And also, it may be applied for the evaluation of the generic human working environment which digital and analog elements are jointly used.

Animal experiments are essential to the study of animal nutrition. Because of the large variations among individual animals and ethical and economic constraints, experimental designs and statistical analyses are particularly important in animal experiments. To increase the scientific validity of the results and maximize the knowledge gained from animal experiments, each experiment should be appropriately designed, and the observations need to be correctly analyzed and transparently reported. There are many experimental designs and statistical methods. This editorial does not aim to review and present particular experimental designs and statistical methods. Instead, we discuss some essential elements when designing an animal experiment and conducting statistical analyses in animal nutritional studies and provide guidelines for submitting a manuscript to the Asian-Australasian Journal of Animal Sciences for consideration for publication.

This study aims to find out differences between designer's design guidelines and user's actual behavior about play facilities of children playground in multifamily housing site by using the method of Post-Occupancy Evaluation. Korea National Housing Cooperation developed the 18 play facilities and constructed them into children' playground of Bun-dong and Junggae-dong housing site in Seoul. The results are as follows: First, user's behaviors which differed from designer's guidelines were influenced by mechanical and technical problems rather than design. Second, users adjusted their brahvior to play facilities which have a little operational problems. Third. users tried to make dangrous activity instead of designer's guidelines based on the safety. It infers that users want to make creative activities from play facilities. Fourth. designers should have developed play facilities for infants and youth. Fifth. users liked to play more complicated play facilities rather than single facility.

The number of share houses has increased in Korea, and social recognition of this type of housing is also growing. In order to review current conditions and housing systems for share houses, an analysis of rooming house, a type of share house that is built overseas, was carried out. This study focused on studying rooming houses of Canada. Residents occupy in rooms and share common spaces with other tenants in rooming houses. The purpose of this research is to study planning guidelines, systems, operation management of rooming houses and the process and role of public and citizen participation. Based on characteristics of planning guidelines and operation management for rooming houses, implications which can be used for setting institutional and planning foundations for share houses in Korea have been presented through this research.

This study was conducted to analyze the microbiological contamination status of raw beef distributed in Korea, and evaluate the suitability of current aerobic plate count (APC) guidelines. We analyzed five years (2010-2014) of microbiological monitoring data obtained from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and investigated the microbiological status of raw beef collected from meat packing centers and meat shops in the Seoul/Gyeonggi, Gangwon, and Chungcheong regions in August 2015. From 2010-2014, most raw beef (>94%) displayed APC levels of < $1.0{\times}10^6CFU/g$. However, raw beef samples collected from all three regions in August 2015 had comparatively higher APC levels than those reported in previous years. To evaluate the relationship between the APC level and quality, changes in beef loin were evaluated during cold storage for 15 days at $4^{\circ}C$. On day 11, the mean APC level ($4.7{\times}10^6CFU/g$) conformed to current guidelines in Korea ($1.0{\times}10^7CFU/g$) and the pH value was 5.82. However, the sensory evaluation score for color and overall acceptability was under 3.0, meaning that the beef loin was not acceptable for eating. These results suggest that current APC guideline for raw beef should be lowered to $1.0{\times}10^6CFU/g$ to improve both the microbiological safety and palatability of raw beef.

교육의 변화나 교육과정의 변화는 시대적 필요와 지식의 변화로 인한 필요에 근거한다. 본 연구는 두 가지 필요 모두를 내재한 고등학교 정보과 교육과정의 변천 분석을 통해 교육과정 총론 구성에 대한 시사점을 제공하기 위한 목적이 있다. 연구 진행에 따라 교육과정 총론의 분석을 통해 2007, 2009 개정 시기, 2015 개정 교육과정의 구성, 정보과 교육과정의 위상 변화, 그리고 정보 과목의 크기를 분석하였다. 교육과정 총론 분석을 통해 다음과 같은 측면에서 개선이 요구되었다. 첫째, 이수단위에 대한 명확성, 둘째, 진로선택과목의 타당한 구성, 셋째, 사용하는 용어에 대한 명확한 정의 등이 필요하다. 본 연구는 세계 각국에서 강조되는 SW교육의 관점을 고려하고, 교육과정 총론에서는 고등학교 정보과에 대해 어떤 편성과 운영을 제시하고 있는지를 분석했다는 점에 의의가 있다.

Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate patient safety regulations and guidelines in order to understand their current status, and to examine support measures to improve patient safety in Korean hospitals. Methods: The participants were the safety officers from hospitals with 200 or more beds and 112 hospitals responded to the online survey. The questions covered patient safety regulations, the performance level of patient safety activities, patient safety incident reporting systems, the dedicated professional, training, support mechanisms, and expectations of reporting systems. Results: Among preventative measures, fall prevention and hand hygiene were reported to be most widely practiced (92% and 91%, respectively). Time-out for invasive procedures showed a relatively low practice rate at 70%. Among patient care activities, transfusion, surgery and sedation, medication, and infection management were performed by 84, 74, 93 and 93% of the hospitals, respectively. Patient safety activities included patient safety committee, patient safety cooperation between decision-making bodies, patient safety workshops, seminars, lectures, and training for employees. Conclusion: Patient safety regulations and guidelines have not yet been sufficiently prepared, and a public institution such as a certification authority is of crucial importance to enforce these guidelines.

본 연구의 목적은 국가GIS 발전을 위해 새로운 정보통신 기술과 인프라를 GIS분야에 접목하기 위한 정책적인 가이드라인을 제시하는 것이다. 지속적인 국가GIS의 발전과 산업활성화를 위해서는 새롭게 부각되고 있는 정보통신 기술들의 발전동향을 정확하게 파악하고 잠재적인 문제점을 파악하여 적시에 반영할 수 있는 기술정책이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문의 구성은 다음과 같다. 1장 서론에 이어 2장에서는 GIS와 연동되어야 할 주요 기반기술인 통신, 보안, LBS. 유비쿼터스 기술 등의 요소기술 현황 및 전망을 살펴보고 표준화 동향을 고찰한 후, 3장에서는 국가GIS 발전을 위한 정보통신 기술도입의 기술 정책적인 가이드라인을 제안한 후 4장에서 결론을 맺기로 한다.

Voltage collapse is one of the main threats in power system operation and it is a result of a very low voltage profile in one or multiple areas in the power system network. Hence, the need for proper coordination among transmission and generator operators to maintain voltage stability if of paramount importance. In this paper, the different voltage and reactive power operating guidelines and criteria of various electric reliability councils, coordinating councils, transmission system operators and other electric utilities are discussed. Among these are NERC, ENTSO-E, WECC, PJM and ERCOT. A comprehensive comparison is also made to the existing Korean power system voltage reliability guidelines. Furthermore, this paper presents a set of voltage and reactive power guidelines that can help in determining voltage limits that can improve the reliability of the Korean power system operation.

Infantile hemangiomas have a growth phase and an involution phase. For this reason, serial observation has generally been recommended as the treatment for uncomplicated infantile hemangiomas. Recently, however, individualized approaches have been emphasized. Although cleft lip and infantile hemangioma are common congenital diseases, infantile hemangiomas on the cleft side (i.e., in the operative field of the cleft lip) are extremely rare, and no clear guidelines have been established for their treatment. We experienced a case in which a patient with a cleft lip had an infantile hemangioma on the cleft side. In accordance with general treatment guidelines, cleft repair was performed 3 months after birth. The Millard rotation-advancement technique, which involves the use of a lower small triangular flap, was used for the repair. No intraoperative complications, such as massive bleeding, or postoperative complications were noted. The patient has received regular follow-up for the past 18 years, and other than a reddish scar on the lower lip, he currently has no related issues. Therefore, this case demonstrates that cleft lip repair performed according to cleft lip treatment guidelines produces good outcomes, even in cases involving a hemangioma on the cleft side.
