Consumers' desire for beauty has become a driving force in the beauty service industry which was further developed through specialization and segmentation. Nail-care service, which is one of the beauty services, is showing rapid growth, and intense competition among salons has become apparent. Thus, service management method and marketing strategy are required for customer satisfaction. Therefore, in this study, we tried to classify the nail-care services on the basis of systematization and realization of its characteristics which are fundamental when developing management and marketing strategies. The subjects of this study were women in their 20s and above living in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon areas. As a result, the nail-care service factors are classified as "external environment" (interior, celebrity, newness), "internal environment" (equipment and products, cleanliness, and environment), "location" (location and transportation convenience), "reputation" (good reputation), "technician skill," "kindness," "relationship" (relationship, empathy, and affinity), and "price and discount." The consumer types of nail-care services were classified into three groups according to the degree of involvement of these concept systems. These results can be used as marketing basics and will be the basis for studying marketing strategies. However, the consideration of setting up a marketing strategy for each consumer type will be presented in a follow-up study.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the effects of hand massage with nail art on depression, self-esteem and vital signs of elderly women. Methods: The research design was one group pre and post test experimental design. Data were collected from December 7 to December 14, 2015. All participants had hand massage with nail art for 10 minutes. Depression, self-esteem and vital signs were measured before, immediately after the hand massage with nail art and one week later. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and repeated measures ANOVA with SPSS/Win 12.0 Program. Results: Depression (F=30.80, p<.001), self-esteem (F=60.02, p<.000), diastolic pressure (F=29.56, p<.001) and body temperature (F=13.87, p<.001) were significantly different compared to pre-study values. Systolic pressure (F=3.85, p=.059) and pulse rate (F=0.32, p=.576) had no significant difference compared to pre-study values. Conclusion: The findings of this research show that hand massage with nail art has positive effects on decreasing depression and improving self-esteem for senior women who chose nail polish colour by themselves.

This study is a follow-up paper on "Development of flipped learning class model for nail beauty education" published by Seol (2022). This model was conducted from March to June 2022 for 70 students taking the "Nail color design 1" course. After 15 weeks of class, a survey of the students' perceptions of flipped learning and their self-evaluation of goal achievement was conducted, which was composed of questionnaires using a 5-step Likert scale. 15 questions were designed to evaluate the students' satisfaction with their experience and class operations; 4 questions to evaluate whether the class goal had been reached through flipped learning; and 9 questions to evaluate the students' perceptions of flipped learning. As a result of applying this model to theoretical and practical nail beauty classes, it was confirmed that flipped learning helped students better understand the content and had a positive effect on learning, while the subject's educational goals were also achieved. By evaluating the students' perceptions of flipped learning, we may conclude that they experienced learning satisfaction and perceived the approach positively. Moreover, they have expressed a desire for additional flipped learning. This study is thus meaningful in confirming the procedure's effectiveness by applying the flipped classroom model to theoretical and practical subjects with a focus on the nail beauty field, and showing how it achieved students' positive perceptions and educational goals.

In the design and analysis of soil nailed slope, interaction between soil and nail is one of important problems. In the present analysis approaches for the interactions have developed a elastic analysis approach or a plastic analysis approach. However these approaches are not able to estimate the general interaction between soil and nail. In this study the general interaction between soil and nail using the strain wedge model is proposed. Also results of comparison between the proposed method and full scale test results by Gassler(1976) and large scale experimental results at Oxford University are shown in good agreements.

Recently a removable soil nail is demanded due to problems beyond of economical and engineering purpose. In this study removable soil nails are developed and field pull-out tests are carried out 16 times in order to analysis pull-out characteristics of the removable soil nail. For the spacing and the installed position of fixed socket, the length of the soil nail, and W/C ratio of cement grout in the removable soil nail, pull-out characteristics of pull-out tests are analyzed. From the pull-out characteristics of removable soil nails, it is found that the spacing of fixed socket and W/C ratio of cement grout are important design parameters.

Nail art is a kind of nail painting or decoration that adds to the beauty. Throughout making nail art, the worker was on a dusty operation with the smoothing of chemicals and nails. People working at nail shops not only use a variety of chemicals, but also experience a lot of fine powder during the process of nail trimmings. While drying the chemical adhesive, the workers often complain of eye, nose and throat discomfort. In addition, the acrylic brush is characterized by a lot of smell when washed with washing solution. Also nail art workers directly influence the worker's breathing through the work done by placing the guest's hands in a work space called a nail table. Chemical ingredients used in nail art procedures include acetone, ethyl acetic acid, toluene, butyl acetic acid, glue, and top coating of nail varnishes. Prolonged inhalation of these substances may cause dizziness, vomiting, as well as impaired respiratory system. The purpose of this study is to investigate the respiratory symptoms of nail shop workers who are likely to be affected by work in nail shop and to find out which factors have the greatest influence if they have respiratory symptoms. Therefore this study is to provide basic data on the health management system of people engaged in nail shop and to develop health education program. For this study, the data collection was collected on July 7, 2017 for the nail shop workers attending the nail art trend seminar held in Gwangju, in Korea. The data were all 236. However, except for the poor data, 208 data were used for the final analysis. The questionnaire consisted of 30 in general questions, questions about self-efficacy in 24 questions. elf-efficacy measuring tool developed by A.Y, Kim, I. Y, Park(2001). The self-efficacy questionnaire consists of 24 items and is self-reported 7-point Likert scale. The reliability of this tool was cronbach alpha = .934.The collected data were analyzed using spss 18.0. Information of Research participant performed frequency analysis. To examine the effects of personal characteristics on self-efficacy, $X^2$ analysis was conducted. And also $X^2$ analysis was conducted to analyze the coughing symptom appearance according to individual and environmental factors. A hierarchical regression analysis was used to determine which of the personal and environmental factors influenced cough symptoms.

아이스크림 색채는 소비자들의 시각적 감각을 자극하며 연상을 통해 브랜드 스토리를 전달한다. 이러한 색채 활용의 마케팅은 뷰티영역에서도 활용되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 이론적 고찰과 실증적 연구를 기반으로 스토리를 구현의 뷰티디자인 도출을 목적으로 하며 'B' 브랜드 아이스크림 스토리 컬러를 네일 디자인으로 나타내었다. 이론적 고찰을 통하여 아이스크림 'B' 브랜드에 활용된 색채 및 브랜드 스토리를 고찰하였으며 실증적 연구를 통하여 도출된 네일 디자인을 네일 팁 위에 나타내었다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 아이스크림 색채와 네일아트의 융합을 특정 브랜드의 색채를 반영한 뷰티디자인 및 색채 이미지 연출의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다고 사료된다.

최근 사회 현상으로 부각되고 있는 키덜트 문화를 유형별로 큐티즘 키덜트, 판타즘 키덜트, 메모리즘 키덜트 3가지로 분류하고 각각의 특징을 분석한 후 독창적이고 창의적인 네일아트 융합 디자인을 제시함으로써 네일아트의 디자인 영역을 확대하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 학위논문, 전문서적, 인터넷 자료 등을 조사하여 키덜트 유형별 특징과 디자인 사례를 분석하였고, 분석한 내용을 기초로 키덜트 유형별 특징을 활용하여 독창적이고 창의적인 네일아트 융합 디자인 작품을 제작하였다. 연구결과 큐티즘 키덜트는 귀여움, 화려함, 캐릭터 차용, 판타즘 키덜트는 상상의 가치, 판타지, 메모리즘 키덜트는 추억 회상, 캐릭터 차용으로 특징이 분석되었다. 이러한 키덜트 유형별 특징을 네일아트 디자인 6 작품을 제작하였으며, 이를 통해 문화현상을 기초로 한 네일아트 디자인의 독창성과 다양한 표현성을 확인할 수 있었다.

4차 산업혁명시대에 접어들어서 차별화 된 라이프 스타일로 인간은 아름다움을 추구하고 삶의 질이 향상 될수록 네일아트는 미용과 장신구 예술의 한 부분으로써 또 다른 예술 분야로 각 광 받고 있다. 또한 최근 급속히 성장하고 디지털시스템화 된 장식적 미용 네일 산업이 세계의 주요 산업의 자리 잡으면서 창의적이고 독창적인 장식 표현을 요구하는 조형미용 예술로 표현되고 있다. 최근 급속히 성장하고 디지털시스템화 된 장식적 미용 네일 산업이 세계의 주요산업의 자리 잡으면서 창의적이고 독창적인 장식 표현을 요구하는 조형미용 예술로 표현되고 있다. 본 연구는 디지털 시스템 중 레이저 마킹 프로그램을 활용하여 이미지 각인 표현 방법으로 창의적인 뷰티산업과 장신구 네일아트가 대중화되기를 기대하며 시각적인 아름다움을 표현하는 새로운 표현 발상의 방향성을 제시하고자 한다.

쏘일네일링은 최근 들어 그 적용성이 확대되고 있으나 아직까지 공인된 설계방법이 없다. 또한 쏘일네일링은 설계변수가 많고 설계변수 상호간의 민감도에 대한 연구가 되지 않은 상황에서 명확한 근거 없이 사용되고 있다. 특히, 본 연구의 주요 과제인 네일의 설치각도에 대한 민감성은 다루어지지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 이론적 계산식을 바탕으로 파괴면에 대한 네일의 각도와 벽체의 높이, 단위중량, 점착력, 내부 마찰각, 네일에 작용하는 인장력 등을 고려하여 안전율을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 배면지반이 수평이고 수직벽체인 경우 네일의 설치 각도는 하향보다 상향이 모두 안전율이 증가하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
