Stent thrombosis after successful drug-eluting stent(DES) implantation has been reported in around 1% of patients in clinical trials. However, the increased risk of ST associated with DES remains a matter of concern. From 1 June 2003 to 30 June 2013, we investigated clinical characteristics, in-hospital outcomes in 10,273 patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention in the Heart Center of CNUH. Overall incidence of ST was 1.30% (134 patients). The incidence of ST according to the stent generations and the timing of ST (n=total, early vs. late vs. very late) were 0.79% (n=81, 26 vs. 12 vs. 43) in first-generation, 0.38% (n=39, 21 vs. 9 vs. 9) in second-generation and 0.14% (n=14, 8 vs 3 vs. 3) in third-generation, (p=0.70). The mortality from ST was significantly higher in early ST group compared to the late and very late ST groups (18.2% vs. 8.3% vs. 3.6%, p=0.042). Overall incidence of ST after DES implantation was 1.30% (134 patients). The in-hospital mortality was significantly higher in early ST group compared to the late and very late ST groups.

차세대 화합물 반도체 플랫폼으로 각광을 받고 있는 GaN 전자소자 글로벌 연구개발 동향에 관하여 기술하고자 한다. GaN 전자소자는 와이드 밴드갭(Eg=3.4eV)과 고온 안정성($700^{\circ}C$) 등 재료적인 특징으로 인하여 고출력 RF 전력증폭기와 고전력용 전력반도체 응용에 큰 장점을 가진다. GaN 전자소자 기술동향에서는 먼저 미국, 유럽, 일본을 중심으로 한 대형 국책 연구프로젝트 분석을 통한 RF 전력증폭기 연구개발 방향을 살펴보고, 후반부에서는 이동통신 기지국, 선박 및 군용 레이더 트랜시버용 고출력 RF 전력증폭기의 응용 분야에 관하여 알아본다. 이러한 총체적인 동향분석을 통하여 차세대 반도체의 신시장 개척과 선진입을 위한 GaN 전자소자의 연구개발 방향과 조기상용화의 중요성을 함께 생각해보고자 한다.

인터넷기반의 서비스는 메신저, VoIP 등의 통신서비스를 수용하고, 음악, 영화, 교육, 게임 등 컨텐츠 서비스와의 연계도 자연스럽게 확대되고 있다. 차세대 통신네트워크인 BcN은 IP 전달망을 기반으로 접속, 제어, 서비스계층간에 독립적인 계층구조를 가지며, 다양한 통신+방송+데이터 융합 서비스를 안전하고 보장된 품질로 제공하기 위한 망 인프라이다. 다기능 단말과 다양한 접속 서비스 등 복합적인 통신환경을 사용하는 고객에게 다양한 융합서비스를 효율적으로 제공하기 위하여 컨버전스서비스 제공구조의 정립은 차세대통신서비스 제공자에게 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 현재 BcN 컨버전스 환경을 기술하고, ITU-T에서 진행중인 통합서비스 관련 표준화 동향을 정리하며, BcN 컨버전스 서비스 제공방안을 고찰하였다.

Due to recent demographic changes, employees from diverse generations now work together in organizations. Thus, there is a need for research on intergenerational cooperation. However, the lack of valid and reliable measures to capture intergenerational climate in the workplace is an obstacle to research. Therefore, we translated the Workplace Intergenerational Climate Scale(WICS) into Korean and validated it with a sample of 1,052 Korean full-time employees. Firstly, we conducted an exploratory factor analysis by using sample 1(N = 460) and revealed a five-factor solution. Secondly, the confirmatory factor analysis(sample 2; N = 592) showed a good model fit of the correlated five-factor model. Thirdly, the scale's discriminant and convergent validity was supported by negative correlations with four types of existing ageism scales and by positive correlations with trust, organizational commitment, work engagement, psychological safety, intention to remain, job satisfaction, and communication satisfaction. Moreover, it further demonstrated significant incremental validity in predicting positive outcome variables even when controlling for pre-existing agism scales. Lastly, we confirmed strict measurement invariance of the scale between the age groups(below 40 versus above 40). The findings support the reliability and validity of the Korean version of WICS among Korean employees. The scale will be broadly applied to measure intergenerational climate of organizations and provide practical implications for HR management.

This paper presents implementation of two types of the 802.11 MAC engine for the next generation WLAN, 802.11n. The first version of MAC engine consists of hardwired logic and embedded firmware. Hardwired logic includes Tx block, Rx block, Backoff block, and ChannelManage block. Embedded firmware contains Protocol Control block, MLME block, and MSDU processing block. The first version has a time-critical fault during the atomic transmission caused by software overhead, so it can not be applied to 802.11n MAC. For that reason, the second version has additional blocks with hardwired logic modules to reduce software overhead of the first version. This enhanced version has 73Mbps throughput and it is expected to be further improved up to 129 Mbps with frame aggregation which is one of the key additional features of 802.11n. As a result, the second version of MAC engine can be applied to 802.11n MAC.

Since, N-Generation equipped with internet seek for more reasonable consumption, they are seeking positive toward the latest vogue and having strong desires for better consumption. In such, the makeup industry produces makeup products specially made for the N-Generation. The products not only directly reflect the skin features of the N-Generation but also form different. Therefore, the purpose of this study tries to find out the distinctive consumption of the N-Generation that rises as the new consumer group of the new millennium in the makeup industry and their purchase behaviors. The investigation was done on 200 females aging from 13 to 23. Investigation method was done face-to-face interview conducted from Dec. 1st to Dec. 8th, 2003 for a week. Through the study, it can be seen that the network generation is interested in e-commerce and such trend show the possibility of makeup market in the e-commerce. Also, it is suggested that the study can be used as useful data when establishing marketing strategies in the relevant industry. The result where the N-generation demands for distinctive products just for them can be used as an alternative plan of market division policy.

통신, 방송, 인터넷이 융합된 품질보장형 광대역 멀티미디어 서비스를 언제, 어디서나 끊김없이 안전하게 이용할 수 있는 차세대 통신망에 대한 구축이 광대역 통합망 (Broadband convergence Network : BcN) 이라는 국가적인 프로젝트로 구체화되고 있다. 광대역 통합망에서는 차세대 통신망에 대한 기본적인 요구사항으로 제시되고 있는 구조, 즉 서비스 계층을 제어 및 전송 계층으로부터 분리하며, 이들 계층간에 표준화된 인터페이스를 사용하여 통신망 하부구조에 독립적으로 새로운 통신 서비스를 생성 및 관리할 수 있는 구조를 가지도록 추진되고 있다. 2007년 3월부터 WFA에서 시작된 "Wi-Fi $CERTIFIED^{TM}$ 802.11n draft 2.0" 인증을 통해 현재까지 180가지가 넘는 제품이 출시되고 있는 가운데 이러한 시장의 상황을 반영하듯 여러 매체를 통해 IEEE 802.11n이 핫이슈로 등장하였다. 예를 들어 $1820{\times}1080$ pixels, 24 bits/pixel, 초당 60 프레임 정도의 1080p급 비디오를 전송하려면 Gbps 이상의 전송속도를 필요로 한다. 이를 위하여 최근에 Gbps 이상의 차세대 무선랜 서비스를 위한 새로운 국제규격을 정의하려는 움직임이 IEEE 802.11 내에서 활발해지고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 IEEE 802.11에서의 표준화 활동을 중심으로 차세대무선랜에 대한 응용분야, 관련기술, 표준화 작업 내용에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.
