The purpose of this study is to evaluate the HRV(Heart Rate Variability) to visual and auditory stimulation. We analysed psychological effect and HRV of music, light, and music with light. The results show that HRV pattern is significantly related to the psychological effect, and HRV spectrum is useful to extract more information when various stimulation are presented.
Arirang has quite a long history in Korean music. Arirang means the heart is tingling. Jeongseon Arirang is well-known Arirang from the Gangwon province, so it shares certain features of Dongbu minyo (folksong), including the Menaritori. Jeongseon Arirang of Ok-sim Kim is pure and innocent. She has an ingenuous country voice. It is a kind of hope that provides our mental strength. Mental power is as important to our health as a eating right. Jeongseon Arirang sung by Ok-sim Kim is Seoul style of rhythmic pattern and melody. Jeongseon Arirang is designated as the Intangible Cultural Property No. 1 by the Gangwon province in 1971. This article outlines the emotional biography of Jeongseon Arirang of Ok-sim Kim relationship.

In this paper, SA-multiplexed filter is designed using SA (simulated ananealing) to recognize music notation patterns varying in size, shape, position and having considerably many similar shapes for optical pattern recognition system. This filter has correlation resutls at wanted location and can identify same class, classify similar class for scale-varianted or rotation-varianted music notation patterns havng learning process. Also, the optimum filter is oriented to analyze on the similar discrimination at acquired position using SA and enhances optical diffractive efficiency as well as peak beam intensity. Compared with POF *(phase only filter), cosine-BPOF(cosine-binary phase only filter), that has excellent discrimination capability even if the different rate is 0.1% quantitatively.
This study is conducted to analyse the process and the pattern of motivation for musical expression in clinical music therapy for the adults in the mental health center. The participant were 8 adults purposive sampling who had more than one year music therapy experience in the mental health center and their age ranged from 27 to 53. A major category derived and analysed from the grounded theory method by Strauss and Corbin. The qualitative analysis indicated that motivation for musical expression in music therapy, which was the central phenomenon in this study, was determined by the music therapist and songs used in the sessions. The central phenomenon was caused by the therapist's friendly attitude, high musical capacity, the familarity of the selected songs and the significancy of the lyrics of selected songs. The levels of reliability about the therapist's personality and musical ability as a professional music therapist and the positive arousal of the songs used in sessions affected as the contextual condition. Spontaneous musical expression in music therapy brought the escape from reality, release of stress and sharing by the intervening condition 'empathy' and this resulted in mood regulation, the instillation of hope and group cohesion. It has been found that there were three types of motivation in music therapy: intrinsic motivation, relationship dependent extrinsic motivation and evasive motivation.
Personalization recommendations have already proven in many areas of the e-commerce industry. For personalization recommendations, additional work such as reclassifying items is generally necessary, which requires personal information. In this study, we propose a recommendation technique that neither exploit personal information nor reclassify items. We focus on music recommendation and performed experiments with actual music listening data. Experimental analysis shows that the proposed method may result in meaningful recommendations albeit it exploits less amount of data. We analyze the appropriate number of items and present future considerations for contextual recommendation.

In this paper, a method of mood classification based on user brainwaves is proposed for real-time application in commercial services. Unlike conventional mood analyzing systems, the proposed method focuses on classifying real-time user moods by analyzing the user's brainwaves. Applying brainwave-related research in commercial services requires two elements - robust performance and comfortable fit of. This paper proposes a filter based on Regularized Common Spatial Patterns (RCSP) and presents its use in the implementation of mood classification for a music service via a wireless consumer electroencephalography (EEG) device that has only 14 pins. Despite the use of fewer pins, the proposed system demonstrates approximately 10% point higher accuracy in mood classification, using the same dataset, compared to one of the best EEG-based mood-classification systems using a skullcap with 32 pins (EU FP7 PetaMedia project). This paper confirms the commercial viability of brainwave-based mood-classification technology. To analyze the improvements of the system, the changes of feature variations after applying RCSP filters and performance variations between users are also investigated. Furthermore, as a prototype service, this paper introduces a mood-based music list management system called MyMusicShuffler based on the proposed mood-classification method.
This study examined the integration of futurist fashion in 4th-generation K-pop girl groups, focusing on their world views, music videos, and fashion images. The key aim was to identify and analyze distinctive elements of futurist fashion within K-pop. K-pop's global popularity is driven by dynamic music, choreography, and avant-garde fashion. Futurism, an art movement emphasizing technology and innovation, continues to influence contemporary fashion trends in K-pop. This study seeks to provide insights into symbolic meanings and expressions of futurist fashion in 4th generation K-pop girl groups. Groups such as Gidle, Aespa, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, and New Jeans were analyzed. Data were collected from their music videos, lyrics, and costumes, focusing on silhouette, color, material, and pattern. This study highlights the significant role of futurist fashion in K-pop, showing how 4th-generation girl groups lead in integrating these elements. This research provides valuable insights for understanding and further exploring the evolution of K-pop fashion.

Many new technologies are studied with the arrival of the 4th industrial revolution. In particular, emotional intelligence is one of the popular issues. Researchers are focused on emotional analysis studies for music services, based on artificial intelligence and pattern recognition. However, they do not consider how we recommend proper music according to the specific emotion of the user. This is the practical issue for music-related IoT applications. Thus, in this paper, we propose an probability-based music emotion classification technique that makes it possible to classify music with high precision based on the range of emotion, when developing music related services. For user emotion recognition, one of the popular emotional model, Russell model, is referenced. For the features of music, the average amplitude, peak-average, the number of wavelength, average wavelength, and beats per minute were extracted. Multiple regressions were derived using regression analysis based on the collected data, and probability-based emotion classification was carried out. In our 2 different experiments, the emotion matching rate shows 70.94% and 86.21% by the proposed technique, and 66.83% and 76.85% by the survey participants. From the experiment, the proposed technique generates improved results for music classification.

This study focuses on analyzing rhythms revealed in music songs of Korean third-generation idol girl groups. The development of genre and development of rhythm continues and the rhythm of Third World music is strong worldwide. The development of genres and rhythms continues and the rhythms of the Third World music are winning big popularity world wide. In the past, Third World rhythms were used only in countries where rhythm originated and neighboring countries, and the rhythms between countries were combined to occur in various conersence composite forms. In the past, the Third World rhythms were used only in rhythm-oriented countries and neighboring countries, and the rhythms between countries were combined in various and composite forms The changes in the global music market and the structure of the Korean pop music market show the same pattern in the local pop music genre. This study analyzes the phenomenon in which the Dembow rhythm and the tresillo rhythm, one of the rhythms of the Third World music, are concentrated in third-generation idol music, and notes that a certain number of combinations appear in rhythms and melodies. Moreover, this study identifies and compares the origin, the structure and the application cases of the Dembow rhythm and the tresillo rhythm by analyzing 12 songs of Korean third-generation idol girl groups. A game, as a sort of media like a movie, may be subjected to an ambivalent evaluation in accordance with the quality of each content. In this regard, it is necessary to have an active discussion about which game has desirable contents. Emotion which is an influential factor on interaction among players in game design needs to be approached from a social perspective. Also, based on social emotions associated with players, a significant relationship between emotional vocabularies and game emotions should be understood in comparison with social emotions within the game. based on social emotions regarding players As a result, social emotions within the game exhibited differences from the meaning of the terms. It is supposed that this result was caused by the ethical standards and differences in the real world. Accordingly, for qualitative enhancement of games, it is required to utilize the contents of this study, since emotions within the game are based on social emotions regarding players.
Being engaged in the musical tasks needs cognitive skills to perceive musical sound, organize them into meaningful unit, store them in the memory and retrieve them when needed. These skills are also required for academic tasks indicating that there is positive correlation between skills for musical and academic tasks. Based on these findings, the study purported to examine whether the developed sessions can enhance cognitive skills which is composed of auditory information skills, which is composed of perceiving sounds, organizing them into groups based on the existing information or organization pattern, and short-term memory skills. Eighteen elementary students in 4, 5, and 6th grades have participated in the study. The study has administered Music Cognitive Skills Test(MCST) before and after implementing music therapy sessions. The MCST consisted of five parts, first one measuring the rhythm imitating skills, second, measuring the melodic imitation skills, third, measuring discriminative skills in identifying higher pitch, fourth, measuring discriminative skills in identifying identical chords, and lastly, measuring the tone retention skills. The results indicated that there was statistical difference between the pre and post test in rhythm and melody imitation skills. Because reproduction of perceived rhythm patterns requires memory skills, imitating patterns are considered cognitive skills. Also melody is defined adding spatial dimension to the rhythm which is temporal concept. Being able to understand melodic pattern and to reproduce the pattern also requires cognitive skills. The subjects have shown significant improvement in these two areas. In other areas, there were definite increase of scores, however, no significant differences. The study also explores interpretation of these results and also observed consistencies among the participants in completing the musical tasks.
