삼봉탄광 주변 수계에 대한 지화학적 특성 및 침전물에 대한 광물학적 연구 (Mineralogy of Precipitates and Geochemisty of Stream Receiving Mine Water in the Sambong Coal Mine)

  • 폐 석탄광산에서 가장 큰 환경문제는 산성광산배수가 유출되어 주변 하천수의 pH를 낮추고 철/알루미늄 수산화물을 하천바닥에 침전시키며 주변 토양을 오염시키는 것이다. 삼봉광산에서 물시료와 침전물 시료는 갱구 입구에서 채취하였다. 채취한 갱내수의 pH 값의 범위는 겨울에 7.24-7.94이며, 여름에 3.87-5.73이다. 전기전도도는 갱내수가 유입되는 하천에서 $432-897{\mu}S/cm$이다. 갱내수의 Mg, Al, Ca, Mn의 최고 농도값은 각각 15.50, 4.56, 85.30, 12.76 mg/L이다. 적갈색의 침전물은 겨울에는 Munsell color 10R-5YR 정도로 주구성광물은 2-line 페리하이드라이트이며, 여름에는 2.5YR-5Y의 범위로 주구성광물은 슈워트마나이트이다. 주사전자현미경 관찰 결과 침전물은 막대형 혹은 원통형이거나, $0.1-0.5{\mu}m$의 구균형이나 구형을 나타내고 있다.

자근(紫根)으로부터 분리한 Naphthoquinone류 색소의 pH 안정성 및 관능검사 (Stability and Sensory Evaluation of Naphthoquinone Pigments from the Roots of Lithospermum erythrorhizon)

  • 우리나라에 자생하는 야생 식용식물자원 개발의 일환으로 예로부터 사용되어온 천연 착색료인 자근(紫根)(Lithospermum erythrorhizon)의 색소 연구를 시도하였다. 자근을 n-hexane으로 추출한 후 column chromatography하여 융점측정과 IR 및 $^{1}H-NMR$ 분석에 의하여 암자색(暗紫色)의 유상물질(油狀物質)인 isobutylshikonin과 적색침상결정(赤色針狀結晶)인 acetylshikonin을 분리 동정하였다. Acetylshikonin과 isobutylshikonin 색소를 pH별로 나누어 32일간 저장하면서 pH에 의한 영향을 조사한 결과 두 가지 색소 모두 pH3 과 5에서는 안정한 붉은색을 나타내었고 pH7에서도 붉은색을 나타내었으나 저장 0.5일부터 흡광도가 급격히 감소하여 중성 pH에서 이들 색소가 불안정함을 시사하였다. 또한 알칼리범위에서는 두 색소 모두 푸른색으로 발현되었으며 pH9부터 두가지 색소가 bathochromic shift를 일으켰고 pH 10에서는 최대흡수파장이 각각 518 nm 및 520 nm에서 588 nm로 이동되었으며 매우 불안정하였다. Acetylshikonin과 isobutylshikonin 두 색소간의 차이를 관능검사 하였을때 색깔의 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으며 기호도는 "good"(3점)으로 등급 지워졌다. 또한 두 가지 색소의 묘사분석 결과 Munsell system의 자홍(purplish red)계에 속하는 진달래색과 장미색으로 표현되었다. 따라서 acetylshikonin과 isobutylshikonin은 자홍계열에 속하는 색소이며 산성범위에서 가장 안정하므로 대부분의 음료 및 일반식품의 천연착색료로서의 가치가 있다고 사료된다.

전북 부안 화강암지역 뢰스-고토양 연속층의 퇴적물 특성과 기원지 (Properties and Provenance of Loess-paleosol Sequence at the Daebo Granite Area of Buan, Jeonbuk Province, South Korea)

  • 전북 부안 화강암지역에서 기반암을 피복하고 있는 세립질 뢰스-고토양 연속층의 퇴적물 특성과 기원지를 검토하였다. 조사단면에서 퇴적층 두께는 약 280cm이며, 상부로부터 표층, Layer 1(고토양), Layer 2(뢰스), Layer 3(고토양), Layer 4(뢰스), Layer 5(고토양)로 이루어져 있다. 대자율값은 각 층준 사이에 뚜렷한 차이를 보이며 변동한다. pH, 산화환원전위(ORP), 수분함량, 토양경도와 달리, 유기물 함량은 대자율과 유사하게 토층의 특징을 잘 반영한다. 세 가지 조건하에서 측정된 토색 중 습윤 상태의 토색이 각 층준의 차이를 양호하게 반영하지만, 먼셀(Munsell) 색체계의 특성상 일부 지점에서는 변화 양상이 다소 불분명하다. 부안단면의 지형적 특성, 퇴적 구조 그리고 주원소 및 희토류 원소 조성이 주변 기반암 및 하천퇴적물과는 분명한 차이를 보이는 반면, 중국 황토고원의 시료와 매우 유사한 조성을 보이기 때문에, 연구 지역의 뢰스는 중국 황토고원 및 그 주변지역에서 기원한 물질에 의해 형성된 것으로 판단된다. 퇴적 이후에는 퇴적지의 환경, 즉 한국의 기후조건, 특히 많은 강수량에 의해 기원지와 다른 풍화특성을 보인다.

  • 본 연구는 한국민속촌 양반가와 중국 북경의 사합원(四合院)을 대상으로 Munsell Conversion을 기준으로 색채분석을 시도하여, 양국의 도장재료나 기법상 표현된 전통 주택의 색채효과를 비교분석하고자 하였다. 동양사상의 중심축은 음양오행사상으로, 이것은 종교와 풍수, 그리고 우주의 질서 등에 따라 모든 분야에 영향을 주었다. 음양오행사상이라는 이론적 배경을 토대로 정량적 색채 분석을 시도한 결과, 전체적으로 색상에서는 양반가가 Y, YR계열과 무채색에 집중해 있는 반면 사합원은 R, GY계열이 많이 분포되어 있었다. 한편 전반적으로 명도차는 중국이 낮으며, 한국보다 중국은 고채도의 이용 빈도가 비교적 높다는 것이 확인되었다. 그리고 사회 문화적 선호사상의 영향으로 R계열 색상이 많이 나타나 있는 중국의 전통주택에 비하여 오방색의 영향을 많이 보이지 않았던 한국의 양반가는 소박한 색채미가 특징적인 것으로 나타났다. 이와 함께 한국과 중국의 공히 Y, R, YR계열의 색상에 대한 선호경향이 높은 것으로 밝혀졌다.

분광반사율에 기반한 색영상처리 시스템 개발 (Development of Color Image Processing System based on Spectral Reflectance Ratio)

  • In recent year, many imaging systems have been developed, and it became increasingly important to exchange image data through the computer network. Therefore, it is required to reproduce color image independently on each imaging device. However, even if the image are same, perceived color is not always same under different viewing conditions. On the other hand, even if the image are different, we want to perceive same color under different viewing conditions. Therefore we must know the spectral reflectance information of object. We measured many reflectance human skin can be estimate using only three principal component. For Munsell color patches, five principle components were necessary to estimate the reflectance spectra. For that purpose, we have developed color image acquisition system that is composed of five band filters and CCD camera. Improved spectral reflectance of object is predicted by five band images taken by color image acquisition system and then we take account of camera's noise and component of object image for predicting accurate spectral reflectance of object. In the results, we confirmed that color difference and MSE(Mean Square Error) between measured and predicted spectral reflectance of object decreased into 0.0071 and 7.72 respectively.

한.일 전통극의 색채문화 비교 (The Comparison of Cultural Color in Traditional Performance of Korea and Japan)

  • The purpose of this study is to research the similarity and difference of color application in the culture of Korea and Japan. The subject of this research is the costume color of Changgeuk and Kabuki. This survey analyzes Munsell's 3 attributes(Hue, Value, Chroma), tone, and 3D color analysis by extracted color data. And representative color according to Obangsaek is proposed. The results of this study are as follows: 1. High chroma red in Kabuki costume is more used as symbolic color(passion and luxurious) in order to show character's personality than that in Changguek costume. 2. Low chroma YR color(no-dyeing color) in Changgeuk costume much more used because of Korean white robe preference and eco-friendly thinking. But high chroma yellow is restrictive color for symbolic color of emperor in Korea and Japan. 3. Blue is most frequently used in both costumes because blue is encouraging color by the theory of exponents of the five elements doctrine. 4. White in Korean Changguek costume is more used for white robe preference thinking, but black in Kabuki costume is much more used for symbol of power in Japan. The similarity of Korean and Japanese cultural color is to use much Obangsaek, less Ogansaek by the theory of exponents of the five elements doctrine, but the difference of Korean and Japanese cultural color is to use color differently according to preference thinking system.

일단계 환원/염색에 의한 모직물의 천연인디고 염색 (Natural Indigo Dyeing of Wool by the One Step Reduction/Dyeing Method)

  • One-step reduction/dyeing method was optimized for wool dyeing with natural indigo dye in this study. The effects of reduction/dyeing conditions including dye temperature and time, the pH of bath, concentration of dye, and reducing agent on dye uptake and color were investigated. The dye uptake was higher with no addition of alkali. Dyeing was carried out through the use of only sodium hydrosulfite in the bath. The maximum dye uptake was obtained at $60^{\circ}C$ for 30min and the dyed fabrics appeared in the PB Munsell color range. Dye uptake improved with the increase of a natural indigo dye concentration with the same sodium hydrosulfite concentration. At a higher dye uptake, the fabric color became more purplish and the maximum absorption shifted from 660nm to 620nm. Color reproducibility was reliable with a color difference in the range of 0.41~1.43. Regardless of color strength, washing and dry cleaning fastnesses were good with a 4/5 rating, and fastnesses to rubbing and light were acceptable with a 3/4~4 rating.

새로운 천연염료로서 수련 잎 추출색소의 염색성과 기능성(1): 면섬유 염색을 중심으로 (The Dyeing Properties and Functionality of Water Lily(Nymphaea tetragona) Leaves Extract as a New Natural Dye Resource(1): Dyeing of Cotton Fiber)

  • In this study, the efficacy of water lily(Nymphaea tetragona) leaves as a new natural dye resource was investigated. For this purpose, the colorants from water lily leaves were extracted in methanol, evaporated, and powdered. Dyeing onto cotton fiber was carried out to study the effects of dyeing conditions, mordant type and mordanting method on dye uptake, color change, and colorfastness. FTIR analysis supported that hydrolyzable tannins and chrolophyll were contained in the extracted colorants. The colorants showed good affinity to cotton fiber showing Y Munsell color. Pre-mordanting method gave better results in terms of dye uptake than post-mordanting method. By mordanting, dyed fabrics exhibited various colors such as green, khaki, brownish yellow, dark brown, dark gray and so on. Colorfastness to washing and rubbing was relatively good showing 4-5 rating. The light fastness was improved 1-2 rating by Fe mordanting. The dyed cotton fabric showed antimicrobial activity.

아마란스 식물의 천연염재로서의 유효성 연구: 모직물 염색을 중심으로 (Efficacy of Amaranth(Amaranthus spp. L.) Plant as a Natural Dye Resource: Focused on Wool Dyeing)

  • In this study, the efficacy of Amaranth(Amaranthus spp. L.) as a natural dye resource was investigated for wool fabrics. It is known that a large amount of flavonoid and anthocyanin colorant are contained in leaves and stems, as well as red flowers. The optimum condition of dyeing was 1.3% of dye concentration(o.w.b.) at 100℃ for 60 minutes, resulting the K/S value, 23.43 and R Munsell color on the wool fabrics. Al, Fe, Zinc and Titanium were used as a mordant. The mordant improved the dye uptake, regardless of the mordant type and mordant method. The pre-mordanting method was more effective than the post-mordanting method. Al pre-mordanted fabric showed the highest K/S, 30.02. Light fastness and washing fastness were high in grades 4-5 and 5, and rubbing fastness was good in grades 4 and 4-5 in dry condition, but low in grades 2-3 and 3 in wet condition. The dry cleaning fastness was excellent in all 5 grades. However, the alkaline perspiration fastness ratings were low in grades 2-3 and 3. The results show Amaranthus spp. L. colorant can be used as a functional natural dye for wool fabrics.

쑥과 치자를 이용한 중간색 발현 -면과 모시직물의 염색을 중심으로- (Fabric Dyeing with Artemesia and Gardenia for Color mixture)

  • Cotton and ramie fabrics were dyed with artemesia and gardenia dyeing solutions. The chroma values of the fabrics dyed with gardenia were higher than that of artemesia. The ramie fabrics dyed with gardenia showed higher chroma values than the cotton fabrics. The colors of fabrics were deeper in shade but their chroma values were improved no more by repetition of dyeing process in artemesia dyebath. The two ways of dyeing processes were carried out. In the first wan, each fabric was dyed in 5 different concentration(1∼5%) of gardenia dyebath to get the fabrics dyed in different shades. After then the gardenia dyed fabrics were dyed again in the artemesia dyebaths. In the second way, the 5 fabrics were dyed in different shades by repetition of dyeing process in artemesia dyebath. After then the artemesia dyed fabrics were dyed again with the gardenia dyebaths. When the artemesia dyeing process was added on the fabrics dyed in five shades with gardenia, the color differences between five samples were slight. But when gardenia dyeing process was added on the fabrics dyed in five shades with artemesia, the samples showed different hue of colors between yellow and green of Munsell color circle. Like almost of fabrics dyed with Plants materials, the colorfastness to light and laundering of the dyed samples were poor But the colorfastness to drycleaning was good.
