행성 궤도의 모양에 관한 중학교 영재 학생들의 증거 기반 추론 (Middle School Gifted Students' Evidence-Based Reasoning about the Shape of a Planet's Orbit)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중학교 영재 학생들이 수행한 증거 기반 추론의 특징을 조사하는 것이었다. 연구를 위한 자료는 수도권에 위치한 한 대학교의 영재 교육원에서 중학교 영재 학생들이 비대면 방식으로 진행한 탐구 과제를 통해 수집되었다. 학생들에게 수성의 최대 이각을 관측한 자료를 제공하고 이 자료를 이용하여 수성의 공전 궤도를 작도하게 하였다. 또, 작도 전에 수성의 궤도에 대한 자신의 가설을 진술하게 하였으며 작도 결과를 증거로 삼아 수성 궤도의 모양을 추론하게 하였다. 학생들이 제출한 보고서의 내용을 분석하여 수성의 공전 궤도 모양에 관한 판단 유형을 5가지로 분류하고 가설 및 증거에 관한 추론 유형을 4가지로 분류한 후, 판단 유형에 따른 증거 기반 추론의 특징을 정리하였다. 분석 결과를 토대로, 증거 기반 추론에서는 증거에 대한 적절한 해석이 중요하고, 이론과 증거의 조화가 핵심적인 역할을 하며, 복수의 가설을 상정하는 것이 유리할 수 있음을 논의하였고, 지구과학 교육을 위한 시사점을 제안하였다.

Influence of Job Crafting on Evidence-Based Practical Skills of Dental Hygienists

  • Background: As the medical knowledge base grows at an accelerating rate, evidence-based clinical performance becomes increasingly important for providing quality care. Previous studies have highlighted the need to promote job crafting to actualize evidence-based practical skills in the medical field. This study aimed to investigate the degree of evidence-based practice among dental hygienists and assess the impact of job crafting on the evidence-based practical skills of dental hygienists. Methods: Dental hygienists working at dental hospitals and clinics in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province were surveyed between February 28 and April 6, 2023. The sample was comprised of 267 participants. The hypotheses were tested independent t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analyses using SPSS 29.0. Results: The degree of job crafting by dental hygienists demonstrated significant differences based on educational attainment, workplace size, and workplace type. Evidence-based practical skills exhibited significant variations based on educational attainment and job position. All job crafting subfactors demonstrated positive correlations with evidence-based practical skills. The job crafting subfactors affecting the evidence-based practical skills of dental hygienists were 'increasing structural job resources' and 'increasing challenging job demands,' which together explained 38.7% of the variance in evidence-based practical skills. Conclusion: This study demonstrates that job crafting was positively and significantly correlated with evidence-based practical skills. To strengthen the job crafting ability of dental hygienists, improving environmental conditions and fostering an organizational culture that motivates continued participation in education is necessary. The development and promotion of programs that enable learning of the latest evidence should be actively pursued. Additionally, regular attendance at workshops and participation in organizational evidence-based practice education programs are necessary.

고성과 작업시스템이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 인사관리 효과성의 조절역할을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Effect of High Performance Work System on Organizational Effectiveness - Focusing on the regulating role of HR management effectiveness -)

  • 본 연구는 NCS 기업활용 컨설팅에 참여한 조직구성원이 인식하고 있는 고성과 작업시스템이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향과 이들 간 인사관리 효율성의 조절역할과 조직유효성과 조직성과 간에 대한 영향관계를 확인하고자 하였다. 본 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 적용한 설문결과는 통계적으로 최종 활용 가능한 145부에 대하여 SPSS 24.0의 통계프로그램을 활용하여 회귀분석을 실시하여 연구가설을 검증을 다음과 같이 하였다. 첫째, 가설 1인 고성과 적업시스템의 특성요인(선발시스템, 평가 보상, 교육훈련 경력기회, 구성원참여제도, 직무안정성)은 조직유효성에 정(+)의 영향관계에 대한 분석결과는 정(+)의 유의한 영향관계를 나타내어 채택이 되었다. 둘째, 가설 2인 조직유효성이 조직성과에 긍정적인 영향관계를 나타낼 것이라는 가설을 검증한 결과 정(+)의 영향을 나타내어 가설 2는 채택이 되었다. 셋째, 가설 3인 인사관리 효과성이 고성과 작업시스템(선발시스템, 평가 보상, 교육훈련 경력기회, 구성원 참여제도, 직무안정성)과 조직유효성 간의 조절역할을 확인하고자 조절회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이에 가설 3을 검증한 결과 선발시스템(H3-1), 평가 보상(H3-2), 교육훈련 경력기회(H3-3), 구성원 참여제도(H3-4), 직무안정성(H3-5)은 조직유효성 간에 인사관리 효과성은 조절역할을 나타내었다. 본 연구를 통해 나타낸 주요 시사점은 조직구성원들이 인식하고 있는 고성과 작업시스템은 조직유효성과 조직성과에 정(+)의 유의한 영향관계와 조직유효성이 조직성과에 긍정적인 영향을 나타냄에 따라 조직성과 향상을 통한 지속가능경영체계의 고도화를 위한 고성과 작업시스템과 조직유효성 향상 위한 인사 교육훈련 체계구축은 조직구성원의 공감대를 형성할 수 있도록 체계적이며 지속적인 실행방안이 요구되었다. 둘째, 인사관리 효과성에 대한 조절효과를 확인한 결과 고성과 작업시스템과 조직유효성 간 긍정적인 요인으로 조절역할을 실증적으로 검증하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 고성과 작업시스템을 통한 조직유효성과 이들 간 인사관리 효과성의 조절역할 및 조직유효성과 조직성과 간의 영향관계를 함께 검증한 부분이 선행연구와 가장 큰 차이점이라 할 수 있다.

종합병원 내부역량이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Internal Competency on the Job Satisfaction Based on General Hospital)

  • 본 연구는 7S 모형을 이용하여 내부역량과 직무만족도 간의 구조적 관계를 분석하여 내적요인을 통한 경영성과향상 방안을 제시하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 7개의 연구가설을 설정하고 지방중소도시의 일개 종합병원에 근무하는 모든 직종의 구성원들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 2016년 9월 20일부터 10월 20일까지 385명에게 설문을 실시하여 327매(84.9%)의 자료가 연구에 사용되었다. 내부역량이 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실행하였다. 분석결과는 연구모형의 설명력은 69.1%를 보여 적합하였으며, 7S 요인 중 리더십 스타일(β=.392**), 조직구조(β=.129*), 구성원(β=.232**), 관리기술(β=.204*)은 직무만족에 정(+)의 영향을 나타내었다. 이는 표준화 계수 값이 증가할수록 직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 전략, 시스템, 공유가치는 영향관계를 확인할 수 없었다. 일부 내부역량 요인들과 직무만족도와의 유의한 관계 확인은 내부역량이 조직의 성과향상 방안의 대안으로 활용될 수 있다. 내부역량은 설립구분, 규모, 위치 등 다양한 환경변수들의 영향을 받을 수 있다. 향후 내부만족도에 대한 내적요인과 외재요인 등으로 분리하여 측정하는 것도 더 많은 시사점을 제공 할 것이다.

리더와의 접촉빈도와 심리적 거리가 직무 디스트레스에 미치는 영향: 구성원이 인지하는 셀프리더십의 매개효과 (Contact Frequency and Psychological Distance between Leaders: Job Distress and Mediation through Employees' Perceived Self-Leadership)

  • Purpose - This study aims to investigate a solution to reduce the negative reactions arising from the performance of duties or the job distress of workers in the service industry, because human resource statistics regarding workers in the service sector have been unreported, while concerns regarding exposure to emotional exertion and poor working conditions have been continuously increasing. Research design, data, and methodology - This study specifically focused on workers in highway service areas. It differs from previous studies because it involves the perspective of the person-organization fit and regards workers' cognition of leaders through the psychological distance toward the leader and the contact frequency between workers and leaders within the framework of the leader-individual fit. Moreover, this study highlights the role of the self-leadership of workers as an important factor that becomes manifested in the individual-level fit to the organization. Hence, this study investigates whether the positive role of the above factors, in turn, could reduce job distress. Workers from highway service areas in Gyeonggi-do province provided data; 141 valid questionnaires are collected. SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 19.0 were used to test the reliability and validity of constructs. Simple regression, multiple regression, and 3 step mediation tests were used to test the hypotheses after the correlation tests. Results - Results indicated that leader-member contact frequency and psychological distance have negative effects on job distress but positive effects on self-leadership. A mediation test revealed that self-leadership, in the relationships between contact frequency and job distress and between psychological distance and job distress, resulted in partial mediation and full mediation, respectively. Conclusions - The result can be understood through two different possible explanations. First, service area workers generally possess a positive perspective toward their leaders. This can be interpreted to mean that increased contact frequency and psychological distance would be considered as supports from the leader, rather than intrusive controls or management schemes. Therefore, the management in highway service areas should invest efforts in increasing contact frequency as well as maximizing psychological similarities by adopting the viewpoints of workers in terms of moral and ethical management, to reduce the workers' job distress. The results relating to self-leadership also indicate that increased contact frequency must be accompanied by intentions for the effective promotion of workers' self-leadership. It also signifies the necessity of a strategic approach by leaders to induce workers to perceive "in-group"ness as suggested both by the similarity-attraction theory and by the social identity theory. In addition, the results of the mediation test of self-leadership indicate that because workers' self-leadership activates upon increased contact frequency by the leader, it should not be a means of control and should not be utilized only from the perspective of management. It is also suggested that strategies such as transfer of authority could have a positive effect in promoting the expansion of self-influence from workers.

만성통증 환자의 통증 조절 (Chronic pain control in patients with rheumatoid arthritis)

  • Rheumatoid arthritis is the one of the chronic diseases, one of its major symptoms is a chronic pain. Despite developing medical treatment and surgical techniques, it is suggested that to control the pain is the goal of the treatment. But pain is an inner experience and even those closest to the patient cannot truly observe its progress or share in its suffering. The National Academy of Sciences Institute of Medicine's report on Pain and Disability concluded that there is no objective measure of pain-(exactly) no pain thermometer-nor can there ever be one, because the experience of pain is inseparable from personal perception and social influence such as culture. To explore chronic pain experience is to understand the process and property of the patient's perception of pain through the response to pain, the coping with pain, and the adaptation to pain. Therefore a qualitative study was conducted in order to gain an understanding of pain experience of patients with RA in korea. I used naturalistic inquiry as a research methodology, which had 5 axioms, the first is that realities are multiple, constructed, and holistic, the second is that knower and known are interactive, inseparable, the third is only time and context bound working hypotheses(idiographic statements) are possible, the forth is all entities are in a state of mutual simultaneous shaping, so that it is impossible to distinguish causes from effects and the last is that inquiry is value-bound. Purposive sampling was conducted as a sampling. 20 subjects who experienced pain over 10 years, lived in middle-sized city and big city in Korea, and 17 women and 3 men. The subject's age was from 32 to 62 (average 48.8), all were married, living with their spouse and children, except two-one divorced and the other widow before they became ill. I collected data using In depth structured interview. I had interviews two or three times with each subject, and the interviews were conducted at each subject's home. Each interview lasted about two hours an average. A recording was taken with the consent of the subject. I used inductive data analysis-such as unitizing and categorizing. unitizing is a process of coding, whereby raw data are systematically transformed and aggregated into units. Categorizing is a process wherby previously unitized data are organized into categories that provide descriptive or inferential information about the context or setting from which the units were derived. This process is used constant comparative method. The pain controlling process is composed of behavior of pain control. The behaviors of pain control are rearranging of ADL, hiddening role conflict, balancing treatment, and changing social relation. Rearranging of ADL includes diet management, sleep management, and the adjustment of daily life activities. The subjects try to rearrange their daily activities by modified style of motions, rearranging time span & range of activities, using auxillary facilities, and getting help in order to keep on the pace of daily life. Hiddening role conflict means to reduce conflicts between sick role and their role as a family member. In this process, the subjects use two modes, one is to control the pain complaints, and the other is to internalize the value which is to stay home is good for caring her children and being a good mother. To control pain complaints is done by 'enduring', 'understanding' the other family members, or making them undersood in order to reduce pain. Balancing treatment is composed of two aspects. One is to keep the pain within the endurable level, the other is to keep in touch with medical personnel in order to get the information of treatment and emotional support. Changing social relation is made by information seeking and sharing, formation of mutual support relation, and finally simplification of social relationships. The subjects simplify their social relationships by refraining from relations with someone who makes them physically and psychologically strained. In particular the subjects are apt to avoid contact with in-laws, and the change of relation to in-laws results in lessening the family boundary. In the course of this process, they confront the crisis of family confict result in family dissolution. This crisis is related to the threat of self-existence. Findings from this study contribute to understanding the chronic pain experience. To advance this study, we should compare this result with other cases in different cultural contexts. I think to interpret these results, korean cultural background should be considered. Especially the different family concept, more broader family members and kinship network, and the traditional medical knowledge influences patients' behavior.

호텔기업에 있어 구조조정상의 공정성 지각이 경영진의 신뢰, 직무만족 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Justice of Layoff on Management Trust, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment in the Hotel Corporations)

  • IMF이후 경쟁의 심화와 적대적인 경영환경에 효과적으로 대응하고자 많은 호텔기업들이 구조조정을 실시해오고 있다. 이러한 구조조정은 인력감축을 동반하기 때문에 구조조정 과정에서 공정성을 지각하는데, 인력감축에서 살아남은 생존자들이 인력감축의 절차나 실무에서 불공정성을 지각할 때 상사에 대한 신뢰감이나 조직유효성을 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 호텔기업을 대상으로 구조조정 이후 살아남은 생존자를 대상으로 정리해고의 공정성 지각이 경영진의 신뢰, 직무만족 및 조직몰입에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 실증분석을 실시한 결과 잔류종업원들은 구조조정 과정에서 절차 공정성 및 분배 공정성을 높게 지각 할수록 경영진에 대한 신뢰감과 조직 몰입이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 구조조정 과정에서 절차 공정성을 높게 지각할수록 직무만족은 높아지는 것으로 나타났지만, 분배 공정성은 직무만족과는 인과관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 구조조정 과정에서의 경영진에 대한 신뢰감이 높아질수록 직무만족이나 조직몰입은 높아지는 것으로 나타났다.
