Stock price multiple is one of the most well-known equity valuation technique used to forecast equity price. It measures by multiplying "the ratio of stock price to a value driver" by a value driver. The value driver can be earning per share (EPS), sales or other financial measurements. The objective of price multiple technique is to evaluate the value of assets and compare how similar assets are priced in the market. Although stock price multiple technique is common in financial filed, studies on the application of the technique in Thailand is still limited. The present study is conducted to serve three major objectives. The first objective is to apply the technique to measure value of firms in banking sector in the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The second objective is to develop composite price multiple index to forecast equity prices. The third objective is to compare valuation accuracy of different value drivers of price multiple (i.e. EPS, Earnings Growth, Earnings Before Interest Taxes Depreciation and Amortization, Sales, Book Value and Composite Index) in forecasting equity prices. Results indicated that EPS is the most accurate value drivers of price multiple used to forecast equity price of firms in baking sector.

Recently, a new kind of multiple zeta value of level two T(k) (which is called multiple T-value) was introduced and studied by Kaneko and Tsumura. In this paper, we define a kind of alternating version of multiple T-values, and study several duality formulas of weighted sum formulas about alternating multiple T-values by using the methods of iterated integral representations and series representations. Some special values of alternating multiple T-values can also be obtained.

This pape applies the multi-attribute utility theory for estimating the non-economci value of technology. The technology of the code division multiple access in mobile communications is used as a case study. The result shows that the multi-attribute utility theory is a useful method for es-tinmating the non-economic value of technology and gaining an insight into the importance of tech-nology innovation.

In this paper, we consider a discrete fractional nonlinear boundary value problem in which nonlinear term f is involved with the fractional order difference. We transform the fractional boundary value problem into boundary value problem of integer order difference equation. By using a generalization of Leggett-Williams fixed-point theorem due to Avery and Peterson, we provide sufficient conditions for the existence of at least three positive solutions.

In this paper, we study a class of integral boundary value problems for fractional differential equations. By using some fixed point theorems, the results of existence of at least three positive solutions for the boundary value problems are obtained.

To investigate mechanical property on the low temperature plate weld metal, the two different plates of the same steel grade were welded and evaluated on the multiple pass welds and both side one run welds with different Mo contents welding consumables. The results are summarized as follows; 1) Welds made by no Mo containing wire showed very low impact values for type of material company. 2) Welds made by 0.25%Mo containing wire showed good impact value regardless of both side one run welds and multiple pass welds. 3) Welds made by 0.5%Mo containing wire showed good impact value for both side one run welds, while it was not acceptable value for multiple pass welds.

This paper is concerned with the multiple unit auction under the following assumptions: 1) multiple identical objects are to be sold to the highest bidders, but a bidder may obtain at most one, 2) each bidder has a fixed reservation value and draws his reservation value independently in the same distribution, 3) The greater a bidder's reservation value is, the more a bidder will bid for the object, and 4) a bidder will bid when his expected profit is more than zero. The purpose of this paper is to design the optimal auctions, in terms of the reserve price and entry fee, that can be applied in any types of multiple unit auctions under the above assumptions. Further, auctioneer's expected revenue and profit, and all the winners' expected profit are analyzed.

A singular value approach is presented in order to determine the number of multiple sinusoids from the finite noisy data. Simulations are conducted for Akaike's information criterion (AIC), Rissanen's shortest data description (MDL) and a singular value approach, for various examples with different SNR's and methods of estimating frequencies. And then the performances are compared. Simulation results that the singular value approach is superior to AIC and MDL for FBLP, HOYW and covariance matrix based methods are investigated. The approach with contribute to the frequency estimation of multiple sinusoids from the finite noisy data. Furthermore, this will be applied to the DSPs of communication and bio-medical engineering.

The relationship between Sigumjang gas chromatographic patterns precisely analyzed with capillary column and ranked order in sensory analysis was investigated by stepwise multiple regression analysis. Highly predictable multiple regression models were obtained in the analysis. Ninety percent of the Sigumjang aroma was explained by the regression models at step 15 in four transformation except for absolute value transformed with root square and relative value transformed with logarithm. The aroma of Sigumjang was most affected by 2,3-dimethylpyrazine at absolute value and absolute value transformed with logarithm and by 2-furancarboxaldehyde in other transformation. The quality of sigumjang was highly affected by ${\beta}$-phallendrenal, methylpyrazine, tetramethylpyrazine, 5-methyl-2-furancarboxaldehyde, unknown 2, octanoic acid, 4-ethylphenol, methyl 10,13-octadecanoate and ethyl linoleate.
