병렬로 시공된 수직 접지전극의 합성접지임피던스의 주파수의존성 분석 (An Analysis of the Frequency-Dependent Resultant Ground Impedance of Vertical Ground Electrodes Installed in Parallel)

  • This paper deals with the experimental results of the frequency-dependent resultant ground impedance of vertical ground electrodes installed with a regular n-polygon. In order to propose an effective method of installing the vertically-driven multiple ground electrodes used to obtain the low ground impedance, the resultant ground impedance of ground electrodes installed with a regular n-polygon were measured as functions of the number of ground electrodes and the frequency of test currents and the results were discussed based on the potential interferences among ground electrodes. As a consequence, the effect of potential interference on the resultant ground impedance of vertical ground electrodes is frequency-dependent and it is significant in the low frequency of a few hundreds [Hz]. The resultant ground impedance of multiple vertical ground electrodes is not decreased in linearly proportion to the number of ground electrodes due to the overlapped potential interferences. Also the distributed-parameter circuit model considering the potential interference, the frequency-dependent relative permittivity and resistivity of soil was proposed. The simulated results of the frequency-dependent resultant ground impedance of multiple vertical ground electrodes are in good agreement with the measured data.

  • This paper presents a frequency-response test performed on an antagonistic actuation system consisting of two Mckibben pneumatic artificial muscles and a pneumatic circuit. A linear model, capable of estimating the dynamic characteristics of the antagonistic system in the operating range of pneumatic artificial muscles, was optimally calculated based on frequency-response results and applied to a multiple simultaneous specification control scheme. Trajectory tracking results showed that the presented multiple simultaneous specification controller, built experimentally by three PD typed sample controllers, satisfied successfully all required control specifications; rising time, maximum overshoot, steady-state error.

  • Orthogonal Frequency Multiple Access (OFDMA) 방식은 차세대 이동통신을 위한 다중접속 방식으로 널리 고려되고 있으나 Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR)이 높다는 단점이 있다. 따라서, 송신전력에 민감한 상향링크에서는 PAPR이 낮은 Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) 방식이 OFDMA 방식보다 더 적합한 것으로 여겨지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 주파수 영역 MMSE 등화방식을 기반으로 한 SC-FDMA 시스템의 성능향상 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 채널의 다이버시티 특성과 수신신호로부터 얻는 쌍방향성 특성을 활용하여 채널복호기의 입력이 되는 Log-likelihood Ratio (LLR) 의 신뢰도를 향상시키는 방식이다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 방식에 의해 추가적으로 증가하는 복잡도를 분석하고, 이에 따른 성능이득을 모의실험을 통해 검증한다.

  • In this study, we implement the multiple frequency bioelectrical impedance analysis system for body composition analysis. Overall system consists of : 1) conductivity electrodes to contact with hands and foots, 2) multiple frequency alternating current signal generator for generating 5, 50, 250kHz frequency and 800uA contained alternating current signal, 3) voltage signal detector, 4) phase signal detector, 5) key-pad to input individual information, 6) micro controller for data processing, 7) LCD for processed data to display, 8) system power, We explain the architecture of the system and required theory to implement the system. Finally, experimental results are illustrated to show the performance of the system.

다중 다공판 시스템의 흡음성능 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Acoustic Absorption of Multiple Layer Perforated Panel Systems)

  • The acoustic absorption of multiple layer perforated panel systems is largely reduced at the anti-resonance frequency. In order to improve the acoustic absorption at the anti-resonance frequency, the sound absorbing materials are inserted between perforated panels. By the insertion of absorbing materials, it is found that the multiple layer perforated panel system has better acoustic absorption at the anti-resonance frequency and more broadband frequency. Besides, it is shown that the absorption coefficients from the transfer matrix method agree well with the values measured by the two-microphone impedance tube method for various combinations of perforated panels, airspaces or sound absorbing materials.

  • The performance of M-ary turbo coded synchronous, fast frequency-hopping spread spectrum multiple-access (FHSS-MA) networks with M-ary frequency shift keying (MFSK) and noncoherent detection is analyzed under Rayleigh fading. Results indicate that M-ary turbo codes dramatically enhance the performance of FHSS-MA networks using MFSK compared to binary turbo codes.

  • LSM(Least-Squares Method) has inherent limitation that precise system identification over wide frequency band is difficult especially at low frequency hand. In this paper we propose to use decimation, a spectrum analysis method widely used in signal processing. The merits of decimation are the flexibility of selection of the frequency hand concerned and the function of LPF(Low Pass Filter). In this paper, frequency-domain is divided into separate frequency bands which will be combined into full frequency-domain by using MDM(Multiple Decimation Method). In this way, free selection of sampling frequency for each hand is possible and the low frequency oscillation modes of LSM are avoided.

  • The error probability for coherent frequency-hopped spread-spectrum multiple-access communications is computed. We employ PSK as a modulation scheme. The channel capacity is performance measure and the minimum bit signal-to-noise ratio for reliable communications is obtained.

  • In this work, we propose detection method for ionosphere storm that occurs locally using widespread GNSS reference stations. For ionosphere storm detection, we compare ionosphere condition with other reference stations and estimate direction of movement based on ionosphere time variation. The method use carrier phase measurement of dual frequency, for accuracy and precision of test statistics, are evaluated with multiple GNSS reference stations data.

구 주위의 비정상 면대칭 및 비대칭 유동의 특성 (CHARACTERISTICS OF UNSTEADY PLANAR-SYMMETRIC AND ASYMMETRIC FLOWS OVER A SPHERE)

  • Numerical simulations of laminar flow over a sphere are conducted to investigate the effect of the Reynolds number on the characteristics of vortex shedding. The Reynolds numbers considered are between 300 and 475, covering unsteady planar-symmetric and asymmetric flows. Results show that the unsteady planar-symmetric flow can be categorized into two different regimes: single-frequency regime and multiple-frequency regime. The former has a single frequency component due to periodic shedding of the vortices with the same strength in every shedding cycle, while the latter has multiple frequency components due to cycle-to-cycle variation in the strength of shed vortices with the shedding angle fixed. The multiple-frequency planar-symmetric flow, which is newly found in the present study, occurs at Re=330${\sim}$360 between the single-frequency planar-symmetric flow and the asymmetric flow. On the other hand, the asymmetric flow occurs at Re${\geq}$365, where the vortices shed from the sphere show variation both in strength and shedding angle unlike the planar-symmetric flow. Also, it is shown that the breaking of planar symmetry is closely related to the imbalance of vortical strength between a pair of streamwise vortices.
