글로컬 시대의 시민성과 지리교육의 방향 (Citizenship in the Age of Glocalization and Its Implication for Geography Education)

  • 이 연구는 글로컬 시대에 요구되는 시민성을 찾고, 이것이 지리교육에 주는 함의를 도출한 것이다. 근대 이후 국민국가의 출현으로 시민성은 국가가 영역 내의 구성원에게 부여하는 권리와 의무로 정의되었다. 물론 현재도 국가가 법적인 시민성을 부여하지만, 점점 시민으로서의 정체성은 그 상하위 스케일인 글로벌과 로컬로부터 획득되는 것으로 인식된다. 그리하여, 시민성은 국가의 경계에 의해 규정되기 보다는 다른 사람 및 장소와의 연결 또는 네트워크에 의해 구성되는 것으로, 그리고 공간은 분절적 공간이 아니라 관계적 공간으로 인식된다. 따라서 시민성은 다차원적이고, 유동적이고, 초국적이며, 협상적인 경향을 띠면서, 다중스케일에 기반한 다중시민성으로 재개념화되고 있다. 이제 시민으로서의 개인은 다양한 스케일에서 정치적 공동체의 구성원인 동시에 비영역적인 사회집단의 구성원으로 간주된다. 따라서 지리를 통한 시민성교육은 국가 중심에서 그리고 분절된 공간적 스케일에서 벗어나, 로컬과 글로벌이 상호연결되고 중첩되면서 형성되는 다중시민성을 포섭하는데 더욱 초점을 맞출 필요가 있다.

소셜미디어를 통한 사회자본 유형이 소비자시민성에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Social Capital Types Through Social Media on Consumer Citizenship)

  • Consumer citizenship is essential for better market and economy, and social capital plays an important role for raising consumer citizenship. This study explored the types of social capital developed on social media, and investigated the relationship between consumer citizenship of college students and social capital. Using data from 263 undergraduate students currently using social media, K-mean cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, chi-squared test, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. The major results were as follows. First, four types of social capital on social media were identified: mediocre social capital, instrumental-centered social capital, weak social capital, and strong social capital. Second, socio-demographic characteristics variables such as gender and work experience showed significant difference by type of social capital through social media. In addition, the most used social media and time for using social media variables showed significant difference by type of social capital through social media. Third, controlling for socio-demographic characteristics and social media usage pattern, the types of social capital had a significant effect on consumer citizenship. Based on the results, the implications for consumer education to develop consumer citizenship were suggested.

간호단위의 내부마케팅요인이 간호사의 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 - 직무만족을 매개변수로 - (The Influence of Internal Marketing Factors on Organizational Citizenship Behavior of Nurses - Mediation Effect of Job Satisfaction -)

  • Purpose: This study was to identify the influence of internal marketing factors on organizational citizenship behavior of nurses based on the mediate variable of job satisfaction. Method: Structured questionnaires were used with a convenience sample of 267 subjects working at 2 hospitals which have more than 500beds. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression. Result: Empowerment($\beta$= .395) and compensation($\beta$= -.232) among the internal marketing factors had significant influences on organizational citizenship behaviors. However, job satisfaction($\beta$= .266) showed a mediate variable between compensation and organizational citizenship behaviors. Conclusion: This result indicates that empowerment and job satisfaction are important factors in predicting organizational citizenship behavior of nurses in hospitals. Thus it would be necessary to include this two factors in inhencing production of a nursing unit.

The Effects of Job Characteristics on Leadership Awareness and Organizational Citizenship Behavior: Focused on the Role of Motivating Potential Score

  • Purpose - This study aimed to check the influence of job characteristics of members of small and medium businesses on authentic leadership awareness of superiors and organizational citizenship behavior, and if the MPS between awareness of authentic leadership and organizational citizenship behavior mediated. This study aimed to find the influence of job characteristics of SMEs members on leadership awareness and organizational citizenship behavior, and the role of motivating Potential Score. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - Total of 150 valid questionnaires were collected. Frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, simple & multiple regression analysis, and 3-step mediated regression analysis were conducted. Results - The sub-factors of job characteristics all had positive influence on authentic leadership except skill variety and positive awareness on authentic leadership enhances organizational citizenship behavior of members. Also, MPS partially mediates awareness of authentic leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. Conclusion - Providing skill variety such as expanding jobs to members of SMEs does not have influence of positive leadership awareness of leaders and partial mediation of MPS means that job characteristics along with positive leadership awareness on superiors enhance organizational citizenship behavior and contributes in developing the organization.

간호사의 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors influencing Nurses' Organizational Citizenship Behavior)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the factors that influence nurses' organizational citizenship behavior. Methods: A cross-sectional design was used, with a convenience sample of 547 nurses from four university hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. The data were collected through a questionnaire survey done from September 22 to October 10, 2008. The tools used for this study were scales on organizational citizenship behavior (14 items), self-leadership (14 items), empowerment (10 items), organizational commitment (7 items), job satisfaction (8 items) and transformational transactional leadership (14 items). Cronbach's alpha and factor analysis were examined to test reliability and construct validity of the scale. The data collected were processed using SPSS Window 15.0 Program for actual numbers and percentages, differences in the dependent variable according to general characteristics, and means, standard deviations, correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis. Results: The factors influencing nurses' organizational citizenship behavior were identified as self-leadership ($\beta=.247$), empowerment ($\beta=.233$), job satisfaction ($\beta=.209$), organizational commitment ($\beta=.158$), and transactional leadership ($\beta=.142$). Five factors explained 42.0% of nurses' organizational citizenship behavior. Conclusion: The results of this study can be used to develop further management strategies for enhancement of nurses' organizational citizenship behavior.

임상치과위생사의 조직시민행동에 영향 요인 (Factors influencing the organizational citizenship behaviors in clinical dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: This study aims to examine the factors that influence the organizational citizenship behavior of clinical dental hygienists to use them as basic data for improving effectiveness and efficiency of dental clinics and hospitals. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was answered by 250 clinical dental hygienists in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, Jeolla and Gyeongsang province areas who were chosen using convenient sampling method from May 1st to June 30th of 2017. The data was analyzed using IBM SPSS/WIN 22.0 factor analysis on clinical dental hygienists' organization citizenship behavior, organizational commitment, empowerment, self-leadership and job satisfaction. T-test and one-way ANOVA were performed for subjects' general characteristics and organizational citizenship behavior, organizational commitment, empowerment, self-leadership and job satisfaction depending on their job characteristics. The mean comparison was drawn using the Scheffe test. Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis were performed to examine the relation of clinical dental hygienists' organizational citizenship behavior, organizational commitment, empowerment, self-leadership and job satisfaction Also, the significance level was set at 0.05. Results: Clinical dental hygienists' organizational citizenship behavior was 3.84 points with organizational commitment of 3.27, empowerment of 3.41, self-leadership 3.45 and job satisfaction of 3.57. Factors that influence clinical dental hygienists' organizational citizenship behavior appeared in the order of organizational commitment, job satisfaction, self-leadership, empowerment and job intensity, and the model's explanation power was 45.6%. Conclusions: Clinical dental hygienists' organizational citizenship behavior was correlated to career, organizational commitment, empowerment, self-leadership and job satisfaction, where organizational commitment had the biggest influence. Therefore, clinical dental hygienists organizational citizenship behavior needs further studies and investigtae more ways to promote factors that influence organizational citizenship behavior.

  • The Purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior(OCB), and the relationship between transactional leadership and organizational citizenship behavior as well as to test the moderating effects of the Locus of Control(LOC) as the personal characteristics variable. The sample for this study consisted of 356 administrative employees from 18 universities located in Chung-Nam Province. Cronbach's alpha factor analysis, multiple regression analysis and hierarchical multiple regression were used for the statistical methods. The practical implications of the findings and suggestions for future research were discussed.

종합병원 간호사의 조직시민행동 영향요인 (Factors Affecting the Organizational Citizenship Behaviors of General Hospital Nurses)

  • Objectives : Identify the factors that affect organizational citizenship behavior of hospital nurses, and to provide a basis for developing an effective nursing workforce management system. Methods : Participants of this study were 214 nurses serving at general hospitals located in B Metropolitan City. Data collection was performed from Oct.15th to 25th, 2014. The methods of analyzing data were ANOVA, Scheffe's-Test, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient Analysis and the Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis according to the SPSS WIN 18.0 Program. Results : Emotional intelligence explained 42.1% of the subjects' organizational citizenship behaviors. This figure increased to 48.7, 51.3 and 52.3%, respectively when other three factors of job satisfaction, age and educational background were added on a one-by-one basis. Conclusions : Considering that emotional intelligence is a critical factor in organizational citizenship behaviors, general hospitals should develop and implement education and training programs that can raise their nurses' emotional intelligence and job satisfaction and, concomitantly, promote their organizational citizenship behaviors provided that feedbacks is provided later.

The Impact of Value Inclination of SME Members on Organizational Citizenship Behavior: Focusing on the Role of Job Satisfaction and Perceived Organizational Support

  • Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to find out a range of cues that trigger employees to willingly make efforts for corporate development in small and medium enterprises. This was determined by assessing the effects of employees' value inclination on their job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior as well as how they perceived their organizational support. Research design, data, and methodology - A total of 126 valid questionnaire sheets collected from SME employees were analyzed with SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 involving simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, hierarchical moderated regression analysis and 3-step mediated regression analysis. Results - The analyses highlighted employees' personal value inclination had positive effects on their job satisfaction, which in turn enhanced their organizational citizenship behavior. Meanwhile, individualist and collectivist inclination exerted greater effects on job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior, respectively. The study also revealed that perceived organizational support moderated the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. Conclusion - Hence, CEOs in SMEs should avert any dichotomous analysis of their employees' value inclination, respect their personal value inclinations and also apply factors that could raise their job satisfaction. Likewise, it was shown that SME employees need to make personal efforts for organizational development.

감염병전담병원 간호사의 COVID-19 관련 스트레스, 강인성 및 조직시민행동이 간호의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Nurses' COVID-19 Related Stress, Hardiness, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Nursing Intention in Infectious Diseases Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to verify the effects of nurses' COVID-19 related stress, hardiness, and organizational citizenship behavior on nursing intention in infectious disease hospitals. Methods: The participants were 182 nurses. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple stepwise regression analysis with the SPSS program. Results: The nursing intention of nurses differed significantly by age (p=.013), marital status (p=.002), clinical career (p=.018), job position (p=.005), and experience of education for infectious disease management (p=.016). A statistically significant positive correlation was observed between nursing intention and COVID-19 related stress(r=.18), and between nursing intention and organizational citizenship behavior(r=.43). COVID-19 related stress, and organizational citizenship behavior explained 21% of the nursing intention. Conclusion: Based on the above results, improve the nursing intention of infectious disease hospital nurses exposed to risk, and it is necessary to manage inadequate stress of infectious diseases and cultivate organizational citizenship behavior.
