머시닝센터의 다축오차 평가 방법 (Evaluation Method of the Multi-axis Errors for Machining Centers)

  • The volumetric errors of CNC machining centers are determined by 21 errors, including 3 linear errors, 6 straightness errors, 3 perpendicular errors, 9 angular errors and non-rigid body errors of the machine tool. It is very time consuming and hard to measure all of these errors in which laser interferometer and other parts are used directly. Hence, as many as 21 separate setups and measurements are needed for the linear, straightness, angular and perpendicular errors. In case of the 5-axis machining centers, two more rotary tables are used. It can make 35 error sources of the movement. Therefore, the measured errors of multi movements of the 5-axis tables are very complicated, even if the relative measured errors are measured. This paper describes the methods, those analyze the error sources of the machining centers. Those are based on shifted diagonal measurements method (SDM), R-test and Double ball bar. In case, the angular errors of machine are small enough comparing with others, twelve errors including three linear position errors, six straightness errors and three perpendicular errors can be calculated by using SDM. To confirm the proposed method, SDM was applied to measuring 3 axes of machine tools and compared with directly measurement of each errors. In addition, the methods for measuring relative errors of multi-axis analysis methods using R-test and Double Ball Bar are introduced in this paper.

다단 ECAP 공정에서 단면 형상의 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Sectional Shape Change during Equal Channel Multi-Angular Pressing Process)

  • Equal channel angular pressing has been employed to produce materials with ultra-fine grains that have high strength and high corrosion resistance properties. Along with the experiments, the finite element method has been widely performed to investigate the deformation behavior of specimen and the effects of process parameters of ECAP. In general, several steps of ECAP have been repeatedly executed. In this paper, the effects of sectional shape change have been investigated during ECMAP (RouteA, RouteC) with pure-Zr by using three-dimensional finite element analysis. The results have been compared with the experimental results.

  • In this study, the bottom-up powder metallurgy and the top-down severe plastic deformation (SPD) techniques for manufacturing bulk nanomaterials were combined in order to achieve both full density and grain refinement without grain growth of rapidly solidified Al-20 wt% Si alloy powders during consolidation processing. Continuous equal channel multi-angular processing (C-ECMAP) was proposed to improve low productivity of conventional ECAP, one of the most promising method in SPD. As a powder consolidation method, C-ECMAP was employed. A wide range of experimental studies were carried out for characterizing mechanical properties and microstructures of the ECMAP processed materials. It was found that effective properties of high strength and full density maintaining nanoscale microstructure are achieved. The proposed SPD processing of powder materials can be a good method to achieve fully density and nanostructured materials.

SAGE 알고리즘을 이용한 MIMO 채널 파라미터 추정과 분석 (Estimation and Analysis of MIMO Channel Parameters using the SAGE Algorithm)

  • 본 논문은 다중 경로 다중입력 (Multiple-input multiple-output : MIMO) 채널에서 space alternating generalized expectation-maximization(SAGE) 알고리즘을 이용하여 채널 파라미터 추정 성능을 확인한다. 성능을 비교하기 위해 781 대역의 제주도 측정지역에서의 채널 파라미터로부터 시변 채널 환경 채널 파라미터 추정을 SAGE 알고리즘을 통해 추정하고 원본 데이터와 비교한다. 이를 통해 SAGE 알고리즘의 성능을 확인할 수 있으며 일반적인 파라미터 계산보다 SAGE 알고리즘을 통해 추정하는 것이 지연 확산(Delay Spread), 도래각 확산(Arrive of Angular Spread)이 적어 정확 측면에서 성능이 뛰어나고 안정적이다.

Stereoscopic observations of front-side halo CMEs by SOHO and STEREO from 2009 to 2013

  • We present a comprehensive catalog of 307 front-side halo (partial and full) CMEs during 2009 and 2013 observed by both SOHO and STEREO. This catalog includes 2D CME properties from single spacecraft (SOHO) as well as 3D ones from multi-spacecraft. To determine the 3D CME properties (speed, angular width, and source location), we use the STEREO CME analysis tool based on a triangulation method. In this paper, we compare between 2D and 3D CME properties, which is the first statistical comparison between them. As a result, we find that 2D speeds tend to be about 20% underestimated when compared to 3D ones. The 3D angular width ranges from $15^{\circ}$ to $109^{\circ}$, which are much smaller than the 2D angular widths with the mean value of $225^{\circ}$. We also find that a ratio between 2D and 3D angular width decreases with central meridian distance. The 3D source locations from the triangulation method are similar to the flare locations. The angular width-speed relationship in 3D is much stronger than that in 2D.

다차원 2계 중성자 수송방정식의 방향근사를 위한 영역상수법 (Piecewise-Constant Method for Angular Approximation for the Second-Order Multidimensional Neutron Transport Equations)

  • 특정한 방향에 대해 방향중성자속(angular neutron flux)을 정의하는 방향차분 방정식(discrete-ordinates or $S_{N}$ equation)과 달리 방향변수를 구분된 방향영역에 대하여 적분한 값을 사용하고, 해당 방향영역 내에서 방향중성자속이 일정하다고 가정하는 영역상수법(piecewise-constant method)을 개발하였다. 기존 방향차분법과 본 연구에서 개발된 영역상수법을 1계 수송방정식(1'st-order Boltzmann transport equation)과 2계 우성 방정식(even-parity equation)에 적용하여 방향차분 방정식인 $S_{N}$ 방정식과 유사 방향차분방정식($S_{N}$-like equation)인 $PC_{N}$ 방정식을 유도하였다. 우성 방정식에 영역상수법을 적용한 경우 기존 방향차분법의 단점인 광첨두 현상(ray effect)이 현저히 감소함을 확인하였는데 이는 우성 방정식의 혼합 미분항의 기여도가 작아지기 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 이론은 우성 방정식에서 혼합 미분항이 제거된 단순우성 방정식(simplified even-parity equation)을 사용하는 경우 광첨두 현상이 완전 제거 또는 극단적으로 감소되었던 이전의 결과를 이론적으로 설명한다.

Solution and Estimate to the Angular Velocity of INS Formed only by Linear Accelerometers

  • At present, most efforts tend to develop a INS which is only based linear accelerometers, because of the low cost micro-machining gyroscopes lack of the accuracy needed for precise navigation application and possible achieving the required levels of precise for micro-machining accelerometer. Although it was known in theory that a minimum of six accelerometers are required for a complete description of a rigid body motion, and any configuration of six accelerometers (except for a "measure zero " set of six-accelerometer schemes) will work. Studies on the feasible configuration of GF-INS indicate that the errors of angular velocity resolved from the six accelerometers scheme are diverged with time or have multi solutions. The angular velocity errors are induced by the biases together with the position vectors of the accelerometers, therefore, in order to treat with the problem just mentioned, researchers have been doing many efforts, such as the extra three accelerometers or the magnetometers may be taken as the reference information, the extended Kalman filter (EKF) involved to make the angular velocity errors bound and be estimated, and so on. In this paper, the typical configurations of GF-INS are introduced; for each type GF-INS described, the solutions to the angular velocity and the specific force are derived and the characteristic is indicated; one of the corresponding extend Kalman filters are introduced to estimate the angular errors; parts of the simulation results are presented to verify the validity of the equations of angular velocity and specific force and the performance of extend Kalman filter.

  • In this paper a robust control design is developed for the control of a multi-joint manipulators using sliding observer. The sliding observer is introduced to estimate the angular velocity of the links under the disturbance input. The feedback control is designed by the use of the estimated value of the angular velocity .theta.. The VSS control laws is introduced to ensure the robustness concerning the disturbance inputs. To illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, a computer simulation is performed for a two-joint manipulator.
