저궤도 인공위성용 태양전력 조절기 설계 (A Design of Solar Array Regulator for LEO Satellites)

  • The solar array regulator supplies the electric power to the battery and the other units of a satellite by controlling the operating point of a solar array. In this paper, the solar array regulator composed with analog circuits is proposed. The solar array regulator has three modes. The first is a maximum power point tracking mode for harvesting the maximum photovoltaic power generation. The second is a power limitation mode which is designed for optimizing the volume and weight of the solar array regulator by preventing the excessive power conversion. The last constant voltage mode is proposed to keep the Li-Ion battery is not over-charge. The small signal model of the solar array regulator which has the reversed input and output variables in comparison with conventional converter is established and the stability is analysed. Finally, the proposed design of the solar array regulator is verified by experiments.

  • This paper proposes the variable wind generation system based on the direct torque control(DTC)for the interior permanent magnet synchronous generator. The proposed system can achieve the MPPT control without wind speed in addition to the speed and position sensorless control as well as the conventional current control method. The DTC has several advantages such as simply system configuration, ease of the flux weakening control and the sensorless control. The experimental results show the performance of the proposed wind generation system.

  • A power control and distribution unit(PCDU) plays roles of protection of battery against overcharge by active control of solar array generated power, distribution of unregulated electrical power via controlled outlets to bus and instrument units, distribution of regulated electrical power to selected bus and instrument units, and provision of status monitoring and telecommand interface allowing the system and ground operate the power system, evaluate its performance and initiate appropriate countermeasures in case of abnormal conditions. In this work, we perform the preliminary design of a PCDU scheme for the small LEO Satellite applications. The main constitutes of the PCDU are the battery interface module, the auxiliary supply modules, solar array regulators with maximum power point tracking(MPPT) technology, heater power distribution modules, internal converter modules for regulated bus voltage generation. and instrument power distribution modules.

  • The paper proposes a simulation model of grid-connected photovoltaic generation system (PV system) using on PSCAD/EMTDC, a reliable power system and apparatus transient analysis program. A equivalent circuit model of a solar cell is used for modeling solar array. A series of parameters required for array modeling are deduced from general specification data of a solar module. A PWM voltage source inverter (VSI) model is presented and current control scheme is implemented for VSI control. A maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique is applied for controlling the PV system. Simulation case study provides V-I and V-P characteristics of solar array and PV system control performance for irradiation changes.

  • In this paper, doubly-fed induction-type wind power generation system simulation model for grid connection is developed. The simulation model is based on PSCAD/EMTDC and consists of rotor-blade, blade controller, generator power converter and generator controller Blade controller controls the blade pitch angle for starting, peak power limiting and emergency condition. Generator controller controls the generator output power to maximize the system efficiency. Simulation results are shown for the variable wind speed conditions. The simulation model can be utilized for study of actual interaction between wind turbine and grid for reliable operation and protection of power system.

  • In the PV power system, output of the PV array must contain inherent ripples due to the single-phase inverter. So the function of maximum power point tracking to increase the output efficiency of PV system is degraded. Therefore, to overcome this problem, this paper presents a control strategy for the reducing ripples of the PV array output in grid-connected photovoltaic power system. The proposed control system consists of two loops the maximum power point tracking loop using the perturbation and observation method is used to calculate the reference solar array terminal voltage(Vref) for reducing ripples of the PV array output and the PI control loop is used to regulate the solar array output voltage according to the Vref. The performance of proposing control strategy is analyzed by means of the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation. As a result, we may obtain the high performance of the proposed control strategy.

  • 본 논문은 태양광 발전 시스템의 차동 전력 조절 방식 중 Feed-Foward 방식을 적용한 다중 출력 플라이백 컨버터를 이용하여 DC_Link 다중 출력 전압을 균등화 하는 회로에 대한 내용이다. DC_Link가 여러 단으로 되어 있을 경우, 전압을 일정하게 맞추어 줄 필요가 있는데, 이를 차동 전력 조절기(Differential Power Processing converter)를 통해서 DC_Link 출력 전압을 균등화 할 수 있다. 스트링 컨버터인 부스트 컨버터의 스트링 전류를 제어 하여 부스트 컨버터의 전력과 DPP역할을 하는 다중 출력 플라이백 컨버터로 전달되는 전력을 조정가능하다. 이를 통하여 전압 균등화가 이루어지게 할 수 있고, 각 DPP 컨버터는 PV 전압 제어를 하여 MPPT 동작을 하게 된다. PSIM 시뮬레이션과 150W급 하드웨어 프로토타입을 제작해 실험을 통하여 검증 하였다.

  • This paper proposed a method for controlling the active power of a single-phase grid-connected photovoltaic(PV) system by the quasi-Z-source inverter (QZSI). The MPPT of PV array is achieved by adjusting a shoot-through time of QZSI. The PI+R controller is used for reducing the steady-state error of the grid current. The simulation studies are carried out to verify the performances of proposed system.

  • This paper presents the sensorless and MPPT control algorithm for a 100kW tidal energy system. The proposed algoritm is estimated the rotor position and generator speed using adaptive sliding mode observer. The vector control of generator at the machine side converter and the converter at the grid side are controlled to obtain maximum torque and to regulate unity power factor respectively. Psim simulation is used for validity of proposed control algorism.

  • 본 논문에서는 250kW급 태양광발전용 인버터에 대한 국내외 기술기준 및 계통연계접속기준에 의한 성능평가방법 및 장비에 대해 소개하고자 한다. 효율, MPPT(maximum power point tracking) 효율 등 정상상태 및 과도상태 성능과 각종 보호기능을 시험할 수 있는 태양전지 및 전력계통 시뮬레이터, 부하장치 등 각종 시험장비의 구성과 시험 방안에 대하여 기술하였으며 국내 기술기준에 의한 시험 결과를 제시하고자 한다.
