Research on detecting moving targets with an improved Kalman filter algorithm

  • As science and technology evolve, object detection of moving objects has been widely used in the context of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Traditional moving object detection algorithms, however, are characterized by relatively poor real-time performance and low accuracy in detecting moving objects. To tackle this issue, this manuscript proposes a modified Kalman filter algorithm, which aims to expand the equations of the system with the Taylor series first, ignoring the higher order terms of the second order and above, when the nonlinear system is close to the linear form, then it uses standard Kalman filter algorithms to measure the situation of the system. which can not only detect moving objects accurately but also has better real-time performance and can be employed to predict the trajectory of moving objects. Meanwhile, the accuracy and real-time performance of the algorithm were experimentally verified.

  • A moving average model, LMA(q) and an autoregressive-moving average model, NLARMA(p, q), with Laplacian marginal distribution are constructed and their properties are discussed; Their autocorrelation structures are completely analogus to those of Gaussian process and they are partially time reversible in the third order moments. Finally, we study the mixing property of NLARMA process.

  • In this work, the new algorithm that automatically extracts moving object of the video image is presented. In order to extract moving object, it is that velocity vectors correspond to each frame of the video image. Using the estimated velocity vector, the position of the object are determined. the value of the coordination of the object is initialized to the seed, and in the image plane, the moving object is automatically segmented by the region growing method. As the result of an application in sequential images, it is available to extract a moving object.

  • 주가지수선물시장은 주식투자에 따르는 위험을 효과적으로 관리할 수 있는 제도적 장치로서 오늘날 불안한 주식시장 현황에 있어서 더욱더 중요한 위치를 갖고 있다. 현재 이러한 주가지수선물거래에 있어서 Moving Average 를 예측하고자 하는 여러 트레이딩 시스템을 선보이고 있다. 이 논문에서는 과거의 데이터를 토대로 한 Moving Average Line 분석에 있어서 일반적으로 기존방법보다 효과적이라고 알려진 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 Moving Average 의 최적 Period 예측 시스템을 구현한다.

  • We propose a triangulation method based on stereo vision angles. We setup stereo vision systems which extract the depth information to a moving object by detecting a moving object using difference image method and obtaining the depth information by the triangulation method based on stereo vision angles. The feature point of a moving object is used the geometrical center of the moving object, and the proposed vision system has the accuracy of 0.2mm in the range of 400mm.

  • In this paper, we propose a new technique to segment the moving target image from the natural background. This system as based on the optical BPEJTC for both detecting the moving target and automatically extracting the target image from the background by gradually eliminating the background image through the repeated correlation processes. Some computer simulation and experimental results show that the proposed system can effectively segment the moving car image from the fixed background, and that this system can be used for a fast moving target segmentation system.

  • The paper deals with the dynamic response of non-uniform beams subjected to a moving mass. In the dynamic analysis, the effects of inertia force, elastic force, centrifugal force, Coriolis force and self weight due to moving mass are taken into account. Galerkin's mode summation method is applied for the discretized equations of notion. Numerical results for the dynamic response of the non-uniform beam under a moving mass having various magnitudes and velocities are investigated. Experimental results have a good agrement with predictions

  • 본 논문에서는 적외선 센서와 초음파 센서를 사용하여 넓은 범위의 움직임 감지뿐만 아니라 미세 한 움직임을 감지를 할 수 있는 다중 센서를 내장한 움직임 감지기를 개발하였다. 개발된 움직임 감지기를 전등과 연계시켜 강의실, 사무실 등 넓은 공간에서 사용하면 전기 에너지를 절약할 수 있다.

  • In this paper, we present a novel motion-compensated interpolation technique for non-moving caption region to prevent the block artifacts due to the failure of conventional block-based motion estimation algorithm on the block is consist of non-moving caption and moving object. Experimental results indicate good performance of the proposed scheme with significantly reduced block artifacts on image sequence that include non-moving caption. Also the proposed method is simple and adequate for hardware implementation.
