We give a geometric proof of the analyticity of the volume of a tetrahedron in extended hyperbolic space, when vertices of the tetrahedron move continuously from inside to outside of a hyperbolic space keeping every face of the tetrahedron intersecting the hyperbolic space. Then we find a geometric and analytic interpretation of a truncated orthoscheme and Lambert cube in the hyperbolic space from the viewpoint of a tetrahedron in the extended hyperbolic space.

A great number of companies are currently examining the opportunities made available through the internet. This research aims to identify the factors that influence the adoption of the internet market. The innovation-IT-diffusion theory provide the theoretical foundation for this study. Seven factors were found to influence the adoption level of the internet market. They are top management support, cost efficiency, inclination toward new technology, absorptive capacity, institutional support, competitors move and customer pressure. Nonparametric test was used to test hypotheses. The results shows that top management support is the most important factor, and institutional support is not related to the adoption of the internet market.

Movable scaffolding has been used to work in high places. The scaffolding is economical and convenient to move to other places, but it has the risk of falling down. This paper proposes a fixed bracing system to prevent the falling down of a movable scaffolding, and evaluates its usability by making a small-sized model. Further studies of structural stability, safety, and economical efficiency is necessary to use the system practically.

When ions move in the air under an electric field, momentum is transferred from ions to neighboring particles. The wind is raised therefore, if the ion-flow is dominant in one direction. Using this mechanism, authors developed a fan which has no moving parts, and named it EHD AIR MOVER. This paper describes its theory with experimental results. Air velocity of 450ft/min is obtained by the ion current of 5*10$\^$-6/A/cm$\^$2/. Comparison of the theoretical calculation with the experimental data shows satisfactory agreement.

This paper deals with scheduling problem of the chemical process system where aircraft parts go through a given sequence of tanks filled with chemical solutions. The system has two hoists which move carriers holding the parts between tanks. A mixed integer programming model is developed from which a maximum throughput schedule can be found for the hoist movements. To show the validity of the model, a real world problem is solved and the results are compared with those with an existing approach.

Each robot plays a role of its own behavior in dynamic robot-soccer environment. One of the most necessary conditions to win a game is control of robot movement. In this paper we suggest a win strategy using Cellular Neural Network to set optimal path and cooperative behavior, which divides a soccer ground into grid-cell based ground and has robots move a next grid-cell along the optimal path to approach the moving target.

Although student-centered teaching practices have been advocated in mathematics education reform, implementing them at the classroom level remains challenging. This exploratory case study examined two unevenly successful student-centered approaches to see how teachers understand and characterize reform, and to articulate issues in implementing reform ideas. The comparison and contrast between the classrooms showed similar classroom social norms but dramatically different mathematical practices. This affords the possibility of exploring the challenges of reform for teachers and other personnel who are attempting to move teaching practices towards the student-centered ideals.

Every classical or virtual knot is equivalent to the unknot via a sequence of extended Reidemeister moves and the so-called forbidden moves. The minimum number of forbidden moves necessary to unknot a given knot is an invariant we call the forbidden number. We relate the forbidden number to several known invariants, and calculate bounds for some classes of virtual knots.

The authors observed thee life history of Cyrtarachne inaequalis Thorell, 1895, during from September 21th, 2001 to April 17th, 2002. Cyrtarachne inaequalis Thorell, 1895 are distributed in oriental region including Korea, China, Japan, India, and Taiwan. The eggs were hatched out from March 31th, 2002 to April 1st, 2002. Cyrtarachne inaequalis Thorell, 1895 usually began to move after sunset. The structure of web was irregular. This study shoos the ecological Life of Cyrtarachne inaequalis Thorell, 1895.
