The purpose of this study : 1. The total 56 range measurements of active dynamic motion of 40 subjects (20's and 30's) were measured using 3-D dynamic motion analysis system. 2. Various comparisons were performed for the right and left side, male, age groups (20's, 30's, and 40's ∼ 60's) using previous studies. The results were compared with the other studies in the aspects of age. In this study, the 3-D motion analysis system based on photogrammetry was established and used to analyze the human's motion and posture. The system consists of VICON 140, data acquisition system, and data analysis program (KRISSMAS). The result of this study were as follows : 1. Comparing 20's with 30's the result shows that 30's have larger ROM at some joints, which is inconsistent with the previous result. The reason is that female subjects in 20's were improperly sampled according to the representatives of anthropometry characteristics. 2. There are significant differences in some joints related with age. 20's male subjects have more flexible joints in the neck while 30's male subjects have more flexibility in their shoulder joint and elbow joint. But most of the significances were not high (p〈0.05). The prediction that the right side of Korean bodies would be more flexible was not a good hypothesis. And the joints flexibilities are not correlated with Rohrer's Index.
The purpose of this study was to investigate relation between fastball motion and longtoss motion, and the kinematical analysis using APAS(Ariel Performance Analysis System). Eight people(age: $21.2{\pm}3.6years$, height: $177.1{\pm}3.1cm$, weight $68.6{\pm}2.5kg$) participated in the experiment. Followings are the conclusion. In displacement of fore-aft on COG(Center of Gravity), fastball motion moved more forward than longtoss motion. In displacement of vertical on COG(Center of Gravity), fastball motion was lower than longtoss motion In velocity of right hand, greater release velocity was measured for fastball motion than for longtoss motion. In displacement of elbow and shoulder joint, more extended displacement was exhibited in fastball motion than longtoss motion. In displacement of trunk tilt, fastball motion showed foreward tilt, longtoss motion showed backward tilt. In stride, fastball showed longer than longtoss.

The purpose of this study was to analyze lower limb muscle activity and 3D motion analysis according to change foot arch height during walking. We selected 9 young and healthy people who have been normal foot. And we selected 7 young and healthy people who have been flatfoot. So, people were divided into 2 groups and walked platform during 2 minutes twice for checked by 3D motion analysis. These data were characterized by EMG measurements of three muscles( tibialis anterior, medial and lateral gastrocnemius) while they were walking. The collected data were analyzed by Independent t test using the SPSS statistics program(Ver 12.0). In foot arch change, there were no significant difference in three muscles 3D motion analysis also found that there were no significant difference in joint angles. In this study was to analyze lower limb muscle activity and 3D motion analysis according to change foot arch, but there were no significant difference in 6 muscles neither joint angles.

This paper is concerned with achieving the high motion accuracy of linear motion bearing guide according to estimate accuracy average effect of bearing. Accuracy average effect can be obtained b analysis the relationship between motion error of the table and spatial frequency of the rail form error. And influences of ball diameter, ball number, and clock length on block motion error and block number on the table motion error are analyzed theoretically. In addition to, a simple experiment is performed in order to verify theoretical result.

A novel motion analysis system is presented in this paper. The proposed system is inspired by processing functions observed in the fly visual system, which detects changes in input light intensities, determines motion on both the local and the wide-field levels. The system has several differences from conventional motion analysis system. First, conventional systems usually focused on matching similar feature or optical flow, but neural network is applied in this system. Back propagation is used by learning method, and Tine Delay Neural Network (TDNN) is also used as analysis method. Second, while conventional systems usually limited on only two frames of sequence, the proposed system accept multiple frames of sequence. The experimental results showed a 94.7% correct rate with a speed of 71.47 milli seconds for real and synthetic images.
Visual effects are important cues for providing occupant s with virtual reality in a vehicle simulator which imitates real driving. The viewpoint of an occupant is sensitively dependent upon the occupant´s posture, therefore, the total body motion must be considered in a graphic simulator. A real time simulation is required for the dynamic analysis of complex human body motion. This study attempts to apply a neural network to the motion analysis in various driving situations. A full car of medium-sized vehicles was selected and modeled, and then analyzed using ADAMS in such driving conditions as bump-pass and acceleration. A multibody system analysis software, MADYMO, was used in the motion analysis of an adult male dummy in the seated position. Position data of the head were collected as inputs to the viewpoint movement. Based on these data, a back- propagation neural network was ...

Due to the improvement of the seismic hazard analysis method and the design code, dynamic analysis method is widely used. To conduct dynamic analysis, various coefficients should be designated. The time history acceleration is one of the most essential factor. However, strong earthquake motion data from the outside of the country have been used to conduct dynamic analysis without considering of the ground motion parameters. In this study, the methodology to choose appropriate input motion is developed by using time domain design spectrum matching procedure. Two examples are applied to verify the methodology. The Result shows that the methodology satisfies seismic circumstances and the design code.

This paper analyzes the motion of a horseback riding robot which has two actuators and three joints. It is impossible to control the saddle to get to any position and orientation using the two motors because the robot has less degrees of freedom than the number of joints. Therefore it is required to know the possible location and orientation along with the velocity characteristics of each pose prior to motion planning. For this purpose, this paper analyzes the characteristics of the robot motion. The authors derive the forward and inverse kinematics of the robot motion and developed the trajectory editor for motion planning. Also, Jacobian of the robot is analyzed. It reveals that one of the actuator has little influence to the speed of the saddle motion while the other affects the speed of the saddle motion dominantly. The approach of the paper can be applied for the analysis of characteristics of a robot which has less number of actuators than that of joints.

Crowded scenes analysis is a challenging topic in computer vision field. How to detect diverse motion patterns in crowded scenarios from videos is the critical yet hard part of this problem. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to mining motion patterns by utilizing motion information during both long-term period and short interval simultaneously. To capture long-term motions effectively, we introduce Motion History Image (MHI) representation to access to the global perspective about the crowd motion. The combination of MHI and optical flow, which is used to get instant motion information, gives rise to discriminative spatial-temporal motion features. Benefitting from the robustness and efficiency of the novel motion representation, the following motion pattern mining is implemented in a completely unsupervised way. The motion vectors are clustered hierarchically through automatic hierarchical clustering algorithm building on the basis of graphic model. This method overcomes the instability of optical flow in dealing with time continuity in crowded scenes. The results of clustering reveal the situations of motion pattern distribution in current crowded videos. To validate the performance of the proposed approach, we conduct experimental evaluations on some challenging videos including vehicles and pedestrians. The reliable detection results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach.
Squats and lunges are important exercises for strengthening the trunk and lower body among various free weight exercises. It should be achieved safe and effective excise through establishing of theoretical basis for exercise posture and standard movement. Therefore, it's necessary to develop the exercise model in order to prepare the scientific countermeasures for the prevent injuries and error movement through optimal exercise movement. For this purpose, it is effective to use appropriate instruments for motion compensation according to the optical motion and error motion. In this paper, we develop a motion model analysis system based on dynamic motion through the four-point load cell for dynamic motion analysis. Proposed analytical method, the optimal and the error motion numerical data is obtained through the dynamic motion analysis. And we verified that dynamic movement is simplified to establish the motion modeling according to the classification motion and the numerical quantification data for analyzing.
