도시가 급성장함에 따라 보행자 가로가 잊혀져갔다. 하지만 성장이 안정됨에 따라 다시 보행자 가로가 중요시되고 있다. 동대문쇼핑센터 지역의 보행자가로에 현황을 조사 및 답사 결과 정비되지 않았으며 보행자의 안전이 보장되어있지 않았다. 따라서 동대문지역 보행자가로의 문제점을 도출하고 그에 따른 대안을 제시한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of observing material on the phase change of moon considering the orbits of earth and moon for elementary school students. For this study, the material which shows the orbit of moon tilted at $5^{\circ}$ with the orbit of earth is developed. 110 6th grade students in an elementary school are sampled. They are divided into the experimental group and the control group. The lessons using the material developed in this study are implemented to the experimental group, and the lessons using the material proposed in ordinary textbook are implemented to the control group. The pre, post, delayed concept tests on the phase change of moon are administered to the students of the experimental group and the control group, and semi-structured interviews are conducted for each concept level. According to students' responses, the concept levels are divided into 'Phase recognition', 'Space viewpoint', 'Earth viewpoint', and 'No recognition'. The experimental group and the control group are homogeneous in the pre-test. The result of this study shows that the experimental group gains significantly more scores than the control group in the post and delayed tests. Also, in the post and delayed tests, more students of the experimental group are in the highest level 'Phase recognition' than the control group. Finally, students of the experimental group who were in the 'Phase recognition' and 'Space viewpoint' explain more scientifically than the students of the control group. Therefore the results of this study show that the observing material on the phase change of moon considering the orbits of earth and moon is effective.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of growth retardant uniconazole on the growth and flowering of Cymbidium Pine Clash 'Moon Venus' and Cym. Green Sour 'A One'. Reduction in leaf length of both cultivars was proportional to the amount (0-5g) of uniconazole and growth reduction of 'A One' was more remarkable than 'Moon Venus'. The inflorescence length was reduced 18.4% in 'Moon Venus' and 15.3% in 'A One' by 5g treatment of uniconazole. There was no significant difference in flowering time, number of inflorescences and florets and size of lower sepal regardless of uniconazole treatment. It was concluded that uniconazole treatment is effective in reducing the leaf growth of Cymbidium. However, as high concentration (5g) of uniconazole reduced the growth of inflorescence causing low quality, 1g was recommended as useful concentration.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of a growth retardant uniconazole treatment time on the growth and flowering of Cymbidium Pine Clash 'Moon Venus' and Cym. Green Sour 'A One' in order to develop a substitutional technique on the highland cultivation. Leaf growth of both cultivars was more remarkably reduced by earlier uniconazole treatment time and growth reduction of 'A One' was more remarkable than 'Moon Venus'. Flowering time of 'Moon Venus' treated with uniconazole at May 7 and 27 was accelerated by 5 and 6 days respectively. Moreover, the number of inflorescences and florets showed a tendency to increase. However there was no difference in flowering time of 'A One' among treatments but there was a tendency to decrease in the number of inflorescences and florets by uniconazole treatment. In both cultivars, there was no difference among treatments in the length and width of lower sepal which represent the floret size.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of elementary school students' conception on the movement of the moon, after teaching a lesson about the lunar phase which focused on concrete activities. The 396 subjects in this study consisted of intact groups of second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students. Pre-test and post-test instrument concerning on the conception in the movement of the moon were developed after reviewing the related literature and curriculum. Prevailing conceptions were identified by frequency of each conception. Then, the pattern of change and consistency of each conception were analyzed in comparison pre-test with post-test. To figure out the effect of teaching, the GEFT and the GALT instrument were administered to analyze it by gender, cognition mode and level. SPSS/WIN programs were used to process the data. The result showed that teaching 'movement of the moon' was the most effective in fourth grade. The effect of teaching 'changes in shape of the moon' was effective regardless of their sexes. Teaching 'changes in shapes of the moon' was more effective for the students whose cognitive modes were field-independent, than those filed-dependent. But the improvement by the teaching was not significantly different. The pre-score by cognitive level was significantly high in the order of the formal operational, transitional stage and the concrete operational stage. But the improvement of conception after teaching was high in the order of the concrete operational, transitional stage and the formal operational stage. That is to say, teaching was more effective as the cognitive level lowered.
