A study on Quality Evaluation of a of a systems based on SOA (SOA기반 시스템의 품질평가에 관한 연구)

  • This paper provides a model which is used for SOA based system's quality evaluation. This model make evaluation with "Reliability, Usability, Efficiency, Usability and Maintainability", these five aspects which were reference from ISO/IEC 9126. A systems based on SOA was tested by this model in these five aspects. As the results of the evaluation this system satisfied 61.45% users including Service Requester and Service Registry.

  • In this paper, in order to control uncertain chaotic system, an adaptive fuzzy control(AFC) scheme is developed for the multi-input/multi-output plants represented by the Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy models. The proposed AFC scheme provides robust tracking of a desired signal for the T-S fuzzy systems with uncertain parameters. The developed control law and adaptive law guarantee the boundedness of all signals in the closed-loop system. In addition, the chaotic state tracks the state of the stable reference model(SRM) asymptotically with time for any bounded reference input signal. The suggested AFC design technique is applied for the control of an uncertain Lorenz system based on T-S fuzzy model such as stabilization, synchronization and chaotic model following control(CMFC).

A Sequencing Problem in Mixed-Model Assembly Line Including a Painting Line

  • In order to keep production balance at a mixed-model assembly line and a painting line, large WIP(Work- In-Process) inventories are required between two lines. To increase the efficiency of line handling through reducing the inventories under this circumstance, this paper concerns with a sequencing problem for a mixed-model assembly line that includes a painting line where the uncertain elements regarding the defective products exist. Then, we formulate a new type of the sequencing problem minimizing the line stoppage time and the idle time with forecasting the supply time of the products from the painting line. Finally, we examine the effectiveness of the proposed sequencing through computer simulations.

  • An alignment algorithm for strapdown inertial navigation systems is proposed, in which the psi angle error model is utilized. The proposed alignment algorithm is derived from the Psi angle error model which has been widely used in real-time navigation systems. The equation for expecting steady state alignment error is also derived. The proposed algorithm was verified through real-time experiments. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can be used in the inertial navigation system and GNSS/INS integrated navigation system to get an initial attitude of the vehicle.

  • Seismic performance of base isolated rigid-mass model were studied through shaking table tests. Friction pendulum systems (FPS), pure-friction systems with laminated rubber bearing (LRB) were selected for the comparison of performance. Performance of specially designed isolation systems were tested statically using actuator and dynamically using shaking table. Numerical methods were developed to simulate the nonlinear behavior of the frictional base isolation systems. Two models were considered. one is modified Bouc-Wen model considering breakaway coefficient of friction and the other is classical Coulomb model. The results of numerical methods are found to be in very good agreement with test results.

  • This paper introduces a new approach to analysis of error convergence for a class of iterative learning control systems. First, a nonlinear plant is represented using a Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy model. Then each iterative learning controller is designed for each linear plant in the T-S fuzzy model. From the view point of two-dimensional(2-D) system theory, we transform the proposed learning systems to a 2-D error equation, which is also established in the form of T-S fuzzy model. We analysis the error convergence in the sense of induced 2 L -norm, where the effects of disturbances and initial conditions on 2-D error are considered.   • As product lifecycles become shorter, factories are pushed to develop small batches of many different products. The highly flexible control systems has become a necessity. The majority of existing automated industrial systems are controlled by programmable logic controllers(PLCs). In most cases, the control programs for PLCs are developed based on ladder diagrams(LDs). However, it is difficult to debug and maintain those LDs because the synthesis of LD itself mainly depends on the experience of the industrial engineer via trial-and-error methods. Hence, in this paper, we propose a discrete event model conversion algorithm for systematic analysis of LDs. The proposed discrete event model conversion algorithm is illustrated by an example of a conveyor system.

  • Recently, a market size for IT outsourcing has grown. As internet technology has been developed for accessing information resources, information systems have become internet-based, which is called an ASP(Application Service Provider); evaluating the performance for ASP becomes important. Therefore, this paper attempts to investigate the salient characteristics of ASP. An ASP success model is proposed based on information systems success models found in the literature. Our model is tested through a survey from 291 small companies. LISREL is used to demonstrate the suitability of our model, and the success factors for ASP are also investigated. Our result is likely to help provide useful guidelines for the successful ASP implementations.

Estimation of solid friction in mechanical systems

  • This paper describes the estimation of the solid friction in mechanical systems by using the extended Kalman filtering techniques. We proposed two stochastic model for the estimation. The one is the 'parametric model' which represents the friction characteristics by an exponential function with unknown parameters. The other is the 'blind model' which does not assume an explicit model but regard the effect of the friction as an unknown input to a known dynamic system. For both models, we give estimation algorithms to generate the filtered estimate and the smoothed estimate with a fixed lag. The filtered estimate can be generated on-line for compensating the solid friction in mechanical systems. Although on-line applications are impossible, the smoothed estimate is more accurate and can be used to grasp precise friction characteristics. Simulation and experimental results arc presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed techniques.

  • A linear time-invariant model can be described either by a parametric model or by a nonparametric model. Nonparametric models, for which a priori information is not necessary, are basically the response of the dynamic system such as impulse response model and frequency models. Parametric models, such as transfer function models, can be easily described by a small number of parameters. In this paper aiming to take benefit from both types of models, we will use linear-combination of basis fuctions in an impulse response using a few parameters. We will expand and generalize the Kautz functions as basis functions for dynamical system representations and we will consider estimation problem of transfer functions using Kautz function. And so we will present the influences of poles settings of Kautz function on the identification accuracy.
