  • This study explored the educational effects of the digital citizenship teaching and learning model on middle school science classes. For this purpose, two classes of the third grade of middle school in Gyeonggi-do were selected, and the experimental group(28 students) was taught science classes using digital citizenship learning model, and the control group(28 students) was taught in regular lectures. The measurements used to verify the effects of science classes using the digital citizenship learning model were digital citizenship and empathy tools. The data collected for the effect verification were analyzed by independent sample t-test and ANCOVA. As a result, the experimental group applying the digital citizenship learning model showed higher scores of digital citizenship and empathy than the control group. Therefore, it can be seen that the middle school science class applying the digital citizenship learning model was effective in cultivating the digital citizenship and empathy of middle school students. In future studies, it is necessary to examine the effects of digital citizenship learning model at different school levels and other subjects.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest how to use digital textbooks to cultivate digital citizenship of elementary and secondary students. We analyzed domestic and international research on digital citizenship and analyzed the definition and elements of digital citizenship. Based on the analysis, we formed a council where field teachers, education experts, and government agencies participated. This study devised the elements and competence models of digital citizenship for elementary and secondary school students, and suggested teaching methods using digital textbooks. As a result, we derived five elements of 'Digital Literacy', 'Digital Communication', 'Digital Ethics', 'Digital Responsibility', and 'Digital Creativity & Collaboration', and devised a 'Triangle competency model' for the school site application.

  • This study aims to explore the digital citizenship education of pre-service teachers through deriving the needs for digital citizenship of pre-service teachers and analyzing their perceptions. To this end, an online survey was conducted on pre-service teachers enrolled in a graduate school of education, and data from 245 respondents were collected and analyzed. The needs assessment was prioritized by synthesizing paired t-test, Borich needs assessment, and the locus for focus model. The results of the study were as follows; first, when synthesizing the analysis of needs, the priority of digital citizenship of pre-service teachers was 'self-protection'. Second, pre-service teachers were aware of the need for digital citizenship education and were willing to participate in it. They hoped that it would be taught in an extra-curricular program or teacher education courses. Based on the study results, the direction of education to strengthen the digital citizenship of pre-service teachers was discussed.

  • This paper aims to examine the main factors of the job embeddedness on organizational citizenship behavior and job performance. To accomplish these purposes, the main factors of the job embeddedness such as fit, linkage, and sacrifice were found from the previous studies. The questionaries of 250 were distributed to the employees working at the Gumi Industrial Complex. The questionaries of 220 were obtained and 204 were analyzed through frequencies, correlation and multiple regression. The results of this study are as follows; First, we conducted exploratory factor analysis for three constructs (fit, linkage, and sacrifice) using oblique rotation method that did not assume independence among the factors and main factors of job embeddedness were grouped together by three factors. Second, it is shown that three main factors of job embeddedness have a positive influence on the organizational citizenship behavior and job performance (p<0.05). This study, however, have limitations of number of sample and survey area. The future study should consider these limitations in improving model applicability in practice.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the influence of the cognitive process related to the organizational citizenship behavior. The research method consisted of the cross-design of the prospect dimension and goal orientation dimension, and information security factors consisted of distributive justice, response efficacy, self efficacy, and organizational citizenship behavior. As a result of the study, the dimension of prospect had a significant effect on response efficacy and self efficacy, and it was found that the influence of the gain condition was greater than that of the loss condition. The goal orientation dimension had a significant effect on response efficacy and self efficacy, and it was found that the influence of the growth condition was greater than that of the validation condition. The research model that explained the relationship between information security factors appeared as a partial mediating model between distributive justice, response efficacy, and organizational citizenship behavior. The implications of this study suggest that it is necessary to establish an information security strategy in combination with individual decision-making factors and organizational culture factors.

To explain in details, this study examines how the independent variable, Self Leadership, with its behavior-focused, natural reward and constructive thought pattern strategies, affects the dependent variable, Organization Citizenship Behavior and Organizational Trust through the intervening variable, Psychology Empowerment. A survey was conducted on current employees of construction companies in metropolitan areas to empirically examine the research model. The result of study hypothesis on Self-Leadership is as follows; first, Self-Leadership showed a positive effect on Psychology Empowerment, Organization Citizenship Behaviour and Organizational Trust. Second, Psychology Empowerment showed a positive effect on Organization Citizenship Behaviour. Third, Psychology Empowerment showed a positive effect on Organizational Trust. The capacity of individuals is critical when it comes to competitiveness of construction companies. When employees willingly participate in building trust within the company, the work place will become more and more constructive; based on trust, efficiency will increase because people from different processes can work together and performance will also improve even when project managers are absent because others could help their role instead, thus driving more efficient human resource management to the company. To conclude, a company's vision can be spread wide and far when their employees engage themselves in Learning Organization with Self Leadership. Also, Trust has been found to partial mediate effect the relationship between empowering leadership and OCB_O and OCB_I. The results of this study will be specific guidelines for inducing organizational citizenship behavior in organizations, and will further expand the scope of research into organizational citizenship behavior.

  • This empirical study is to investigate the influence of MMORPG player's social as well as individual characteristics on the emergent party play. First, we have tested our research model by surveying 231 active players of Lineage 2. The results demonstrate that both the personal values, such as self-efficacy and job satisfaction, and also the organizational values, such as task interdependence and trust, have significant influences on the organizational citizenship behaviors among the party players. This study suggests both theoretical and practical implications on how to encourage gamers' altruistic concern and organizational adaptation in MMORPG.
