CDMA 이동국용 PN 부호 탐색기 설계 및 구현 (Design and implementation of the PN code searcher for CDMA mobile station)

  • We implemented a code searcher which is used for the PN(pseudo noise) code acquisition in CDMA cellular mobile station. To reduce the reuired hardware and the code acquisition time, we used the double dwell structure which is an effective serial code acquisition metho. We designed a code acquisition has acquired within 1/2 PN chip range. The code searcher is implemented using 0.8 micron code searcher is successfully working in CDMA cellular mobile station and it satisfies the code acquisition time specified in IS-95 standard.

  • Mobile Augmented Reality (mobile AR), as one of the most prospective mobile applications, intends to provide richer experiences by annotating tags or virtual objects over the scene observed through camera embedded in a handheld device like smartphone or pad. In this paper, we analyzed the current status of the art of mobile AR and proposed a novel Points of Interest (POIs) data model based on ontology to provide context-aware information retrievals on lots of POIs data. Proposed ontology was expanded from the standard POIs data model of W3C POIs Working Group and established using OWL (Web Ontology Language) and Protege. We also proposed a context-aware mobile AR platform which can resolve three distinguished issues in current platforms : interoperability problem of POI tags, POIs data retrieval issue, and context-aware service issue.

  • Recent studies have indicated that mobile markets harbor applications (apps) that are either malicious or vulnerable, compromising millions of devices. Some studies indicate that 96% of companies' employees have used at least one malicious app. Some app stores do not employ security quality attributes regarding authorization, which is the function of specifying access rights to access control resources. However, well-defined access control policies can prevent mobile apps from being malicious. The problem is that those who oversee app market sites lack the mechanisms necessary to assess mobile app security. Because thousands of apps are constantly being added to or updated on mobile app market sites, these security testing mechanisms must be automated. This paper, therefore, introduces a new mechanism for testing mobile app security, using white-box testing in a way that is compatible with Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) working environments. This framework will benefit end-users, organizations that oversee app markets, and employers who implement the BYOD trend.

  • NGIS사업의 일환으로 1995년이래 수행중인 지하시설물전산화 사업의 확대시범도시에 포함된 19개 지자체는 2003년 과업종료에 따라 상하수도 중심의 지하시설물 DB를 활용한 지하시설물 유지관리시스템의 실질적인 운용에 대비하고 있다. 그러나, 각 지자체의 상하수도 유지관리업무를 담당하는 부서는 전산화 환경에서 지하시설물 DB의 유지관리를 담당할 수 있는 전문인력 및 관련 기술과 경험부재로 인해 기존의 현장 수작업 방식으로 지하시설물 DB를 유지관리할 경우 자료누락, 오기 및 이기오류, DB의 최근성 확보 등의 문제로 인하여 지하시설물 DB의 품질저하가 우려되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지하시설물 DB 유지관리 방법론 개발의 선행 연구로 지자체 상하수도 유지관리업무를 담당하는 현장 작업자의 업무환경을 전산화 환경으로 전환하기 위하여 현장업무용 모바일장비 활용성 실험과 국내 무선통신 환경분석 및 모바일장비용 GPS수신기 활용성 실험을 수행하여 현장 업무용 모바일 작업 환경을 구축하였다. 지하시설물 DB의 효율적인 유지관리 방법론 개발에서는 국내 무선통신환경의 제약에 의해 편의상 업무빈도가 높고 정기적으로 수행되는 정상업무에 대해서는 OFF-LINE방식의 DB 수정/갱신 방법론을 개발, 적용하고, 부정기적이나 처리에 시급성이 요망되는 긴급업무에 대해서는 ON-LINE 방식의 DB 수정/갱신 방법론을 개발, 적용하였다.

  • This research deals with a new concept regarding creative enlargement in order for useful space composition. Architecture, through interior design case analysis has given birth to a new concept and inspiration altering interior designer's perspectives on the future environment. Focusing exclusively on those offices that express in design terms a commitment to such concepts as team-Working, just-in-time Working, virtual and mobile working and those using the newest technological tools and the latest space-planning concepts available. Emphasis is placed on how an office environment can be designed to encourage group working, the sharing of knowledge, a spirit of community within larger organizations, and non-territorial working-employees that work where and how they want supported by cordless technologies.

Person Tracking by Detection of Mobile Robot using RGB-D Cameras

  • In this paper, we have implemented a low-cost mobile robot supporting the person tracking by detection using RGB-D cameras and ROS(Robot Operating System) framework. The mobile robot was developed based on the Kobuki mobile base equipped with 2's Kinect devices and a high performance controller. One kinect device was used to detect and track the single person among people in the constrained working area by combining point cloud data filtering & clustering, HOG classifier and Kalman Filter-based estimation successively, and the other to perform the SLAM-based navigation supported in ROS framework. In performance evaluation, the person tracking by detection was proved to be robustly executed in real-time, and the navigation function showed the accuracy with the mean distance error being lower than 50mm. The mobile robot implemented has a significance in using the open-source based, general-purpose and low-cost approach.

  • In this paper, a remote screen control by mobile networks on embedded system is implemented. For this system a server program is ported on the embedded system connected with internet. And on the side of a mobile phone, a client program is ported using GVM. The embedded system can display the text and image from the mobile phone on its LCD. In the implemented embedded system the text and image data from GVM emulator is sent to the system for display on its LCD. The realization of the proposed embedded system can display the text :md image from a working mobile phone.

  • 모바일 응용소프트웨어의 그래픽 유저 인터페이스는 모바일 상에서 모든 기능들을 작동시키며 정보를 획득하고 변경하는 작업 환경이며 도구이다. 모바일 소프트웨어 생산성을 높이고 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위하여 그래픽 유저 인터페이스의 테스트는 반드시 필요한 과정이다. 본 연구에서는 테스트 시나리오를 이용하여 그래픽 유저 인터페이스를 테스트하는 방법을 제안하고 이를 구현한 자동화 도구를 제안한다. 자동화 도구(MoGuT)는 테스트 시나리오에 의해 기능적인 결함을 빠른 시간에 찾을 수 있으며 SKVM 환경에서 운영된다.
