A Study on the Effect of Next-Generation Mobile Advertising Service for TV Advertising Effectiveness (TV 광고 효과 향상을 위한 차세대 모바일 광고서비스 효과 연구)

  • This study suggests that 'Will not we use more smartphones while watching TV commercials? Then, will the TV advertising effect decrease due to the distributed concentration?". As a result of the preliminary study, it was confirmed that about 63% of users watching TV commercials use smartphones together. In this study, we propose the possibility of a new mobile advertising service by experimenting and analyzing the effect of high frequency technology based TV advertising linked mobile advertising service. Experimental results show that the response rate of the same content is improved about 9 times as compared with that of the general mobile advertisement when the advertisement of the same content is provided by the TV advertisement interlocking type. It can be confirmed that it is quite effective to provide the same content advertisement to the customers who are in front of the TV at the time of sending the TV advertisement. Therefore, it is expected that various services based on high frequency technology will be activated as a new advertising service that will preserve the effect of TV commercials in the future.

  • One of the advantages of the mobile internet is that it is accessible everywhere. However, producing the mobile internet contents is hard because the standards of the contents are different depending on the telecommunications companies and the mobile phone terminals. Because of this, mobile contents production has not been activated and profit models are rarely found. In order to vitalize the mobile contents, we developed the Mobile UCC (User Created Contents) Phone Page Service with which general users can produce and provide the mobile phone pages easily. In addition, we began to provide advertisement on the UCC phone pages as a profit model. However, as mentioned already, the contents that meet each of the standards should be prepared in advance to be compatible with the different standards. For this reason, only one advertisement could be provided on one UCC phone page. Previous studies were focused on the standardization of different standards by integrating them. Though the standardization may be applicable to the mobile phones that will be newly released, it is hardly applied to the conventional mobile phones. To solve the abovementioned problems and improve the drawbacks of the conventional studies, we proposed in this article the technology to synthesize the phone page contents and independent advertisement at the moment when the UCC phone page prepared by the users is provided in real time. This technology allows to provide various advertisement on one UCC phone page and administrate the start, end and frequency of specific advertisements. This method was applied in this study to vitalize the mobile contents and improve the profit model.

  • In this paper, we sought ways to accept and reject advertisements using the function of a smartphone gyro sensor to enable selective transmission and reception of YouTube advertisements by linking the gyro function of mobile phones. In the case of YouTube advertisements, the skip button is activated after the advertisement is played for a certain period of time (about 5 seconds) before and after the video is played. During the time the advertisement is maintained, it can be used to achieve various goals such as increased website traffic, brand awareness, and sales induction. Since this type of advertisement is not a setting in which the transition takes place immediately, it can be seen as the most suitable setting to strengthen brand awareness. However, due to the nature of the YouTube advertising system, it is often discarded through users' skipping behavior in the process of sharing and reproducing information. Therefore, in this paper, we implemented an optional advertisement transmission system that applies the principle of gyroscope to minimize wasted advertisements and selectively maintain desired advertisements in consideration of the transmission and reception aspects of advertisement broadcasts. It measures rotational repulsive force with directional stability and car wash characteristics, and uses algorithms to identify the slope and angular speed of mobile phones to ensure that advertisements are transmitted and received. Through this, it is expected that advertisement transmission can be performed on the side of an advertisement provider, and selective advertisement reception can be performed on the side of a user.

  • 유비쿼터스시대의 핵심기기로 중요성을 더해 가고 있는 이동전화와 무선인터넷기술의 발전은 현대 비즈니스 환경의 급격한 변화와 함께 광고활동에도 많은 변화와 새로운 기회를 제공하고 있다. 무궁이 변화하는 환경 속에서 소비자 행동을 새롭게 파악할 수 있는 플로우를 중심으로 살펴보았고, 이용자들의 광고 회피로 인해 광고 효율성이 점차 낮아지고 있는 현 시점에서 광고태도에 따른 회피 현상들을 통계프로그램 SPSS와 AMOS를 통해 분석하였다. 이에 따른 결과는 휴대폰 사용자의 플로우가 상태일 때 모바일 광고효과인 광고태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 광고태도는 광고회피에 영향을 미친다는 연구 결과가 나왔다.

  • PUSH technology is a technology that can transfer server information without user's request and it is very useful in various areas along with mobile applications. This paper suggest a suitable application model that can utilizes the PUSH technology and mobile devices by finding a useful area. For this, AdMan, a mobile application which can utilize the PUSH technology and mobile devices has been developed. AdMan is a mobile application that developed once and can be able to run on both Android and iOS based mobile devices, since it was developed by using a tool called m-Bizmaker. AdMan is a customer management and advertisement system that can bring big efficiency by utilizing the PUSH technology and mobile application under the today's mobile environment, and it is a good model of ICT technology application of modern society. As an application that can maximize the utilization of the PUSH technology and mobile devices, AdMan can realize better effectiveness if it run on a PUSH server.

In this study, we suggest the new advertising methodologies and propose both target marketing strategies and demand forecast through the data mining techniques.

  • Today, Advertisement affects the daily consumption life of consumers because of the features and advantages of advertisement. In particular, and so does the TV advertisement. Therefore, customer education is required for the consumers so that they can lead a rational consumption through TV advertisement quality. In addition, with the introduction of the many new-born distribution channels, the recent market environment in apparel industry is changing, and the service and image of store types consumers can choose are increasing. The purpose of this research is to offer basic data which can help consumers to acquire necessary information and conduct rational consumption through TV advertisement. Also purchasing behavior of consumers communicate, feels of consumers about store image, TV advertisement quality of what is the attitude of the relative influence presents.

  • Mobile news users want news articles without advertising, meanwhile the news providers require advertisement displays in several types to attain advertising revenue. In this paper, we classified the types of advertisements on mobile news articles into fixed article type which is fixed on some areas of articles, fixed screen type which is fixed on mobile screens, and a combination type of them. In addition, we proposed a smart solution based on overlapping method which effectively organize advertisements to not distract the readers. The proposed method is similar to fixed article type and overlapping technique of advertisements on news article's photo or virtual area. The performance evaluation result shows that the proposed method provides more spaces for news articles effectively than the existing methods. Although only some areas of advertisements may be blocked according to the number or size of advertisements, the effect is not critical.

Tunnel Gateway Satisfying Mobility and Security Requirements of Mobile and IP-Based Networks

  • Full-mesh IPSec tunnels pass through a black ("unsecure") network (B-NET) to any red ("secure") networks (RNETs). These are needed in military environments, because they enable dynamically changing R-NETs to be reached from a BNET. A dynamically reconfiguring security policy database (SPD) is very difficult to manage, since the R-NETs are mobile. This paper proposes advertisement process technologies in association with the tunnel gateway's protocol that sends 'hello' and 'prefix advertisement (ADV)' packets periodically to a multicast IP address to solve mobility and security issues. We focus on the tunnel gateway's security policy (SP) adaptation protocol that enables R-NETs to adapt to mobile environments and allows them to renew services rapidly soon after their redeployment. The prefix ADV process enables tunnel gateways to gather information associated with the dynamic changes of prefixes and the tunnel gateway's status (that is, 'down'/restart). Finally, we observe two different types of performance results. First, we explore the effects of different levels of R-NET movements on SP adaptation latency. Next, we derive the other SP adaptation latency. This can suffer from dynamic deployments of tunnel gateways, during which the protocol data traffic associated with the prefix ADV protocol data unit is expected to be severe, especially when a certain tunnel gateway restarts.
