혼식(混植)한 몇가지 수도품종(水稻品種)의 생육(生育)과 병해발생(病害發生) (The Effect of Mixed Cultivation of Rice Varieties on the Plant Characteristics and the Occurrence of Blast under Various Fertilizer Levels)

  • 충남(忠南) 지역(地域) 일반계(一般系) 장려품종인 동진(東津)벼, 대청(大晴)벼, 추청(秋晴)벼 3품종(品種)의 혼식재배(混植栽培)가 병해(病害) 및 수량(收量)에 미치는 영향(影響)을 구명(究明)하기 위하여 1987년(年)에 충남대학(忠南大學) 농과대학(農科大學) 시험포(試驗圃)에서 수행(遂行)한 시험결과(試驗結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 혼식(混植)에 따른 품종(品種) 및 처리간(處理間) 출수기(出穗期) 변화(變化)는 차이(差異)가 없었고 추청(秋晴)벼 보비구(普肥區)에서만 1일(日) 지연(遲延)되었다. 2. 초장(草長)의 혼식효과(混植效果)는 소비구(少肥區)에서 높았으며 혼식조합별(混植組合別)로는 동진(東津)벼와 대청(大晴)벼 혼식조합구(混植組合區)에서 5.1%로 가장 높게 나타났고 경수(莖數)에서는 보비구(普肥區)에서 혼식효과(混植效果)가 나타났으며 혼식조합별(混植組合別)로는 추청(秋晴)벼와 동진(東津)벼의 혼식조합구(混植組合區)에서 단식구(單植區) 평균치(平均値)보다 5.7%가 증가(增加)하여 혼식효과(混植效果)가 가장 높았다. 3. 간장(稈長)은 시비량(施肥量)이 많을수록 혼식효과(混植效果)도 증가(增加)하였으며 동진(東津)벼와 대청(大晴)벼 혼식조합구(混植組合區)에서 간장(稈長)이 가장 길었으며 혼식효과(混植效果)도 높았다. 반대로 수장(穗長)은 시비량(施肥量)이 많을수록 감소(減少)하였으며 혼식효과(混植效果)도 떨어졌다. 혼식조합별(混植組合別)로는 동진(東津)벼와 대청(大晴)벼 혼식조합구(混植組合區)에서 수장(穗長)이 가장 길었으며, 혼식효과(混植效果)도 현저했다. 4. 성숙기(成熟期)의 지상부(地上部) 건물중(乾物重)은 단식구(單植區)에 비해 2품종(品種) 혼식구(混植區)에서 3.5%, 3품종(品種) 혼식구(混植區)에서 8.5% 증가(增加)하였으며 비료수준별(肥料水準別)로는 보비구(普肥區)에서 혼식효과(混植效果)가 현저했다. 5. 목도열병(稻熱病)과 지경(枝莖) 도열병(稻熱病)은 혼식구(混植區)에서 각각(各各) 11.7%, 14.0% 감소(減少)하였으며, 소비구(少肥區)보다는 보비구(普肥區)에서 혼식효과(混植效果)가 현저했으며, 혼식조합별(混植組合別)로는 동진(東津)벼와 대청(大晴)벼 혼식조합구(混植組合區)에서 도열병(稻熱病) 발생(發生)이 가장 적었다. 6. $m^2$당(當) 수수(穗數)는 추청(秋晴)벼와 동진(東津)벼 혼식조합구(混植組合區)에서 혼식효과(混植效果)가 가장 높았으나 수당(穗當) 영화수(穎花數)는 추청(秋晴)벼와 동진(東津)벼 혼식조합구(混植組合區)에서 가장 낮았다. 비료수준별(肥料水準別) 혼식효과(混植效果)는 $m^2$당(當) 수수(穗數)에서 비료수준(肥料水準)이 높을수록, 수당(穗當) 영화수(穎花數)는 비료수준(肥料水準)이 낮을수록 컸다. 7. 등숙율(登熟率)은 비료수준(肥料水準)에 관계(關係)없이 전(全) 혼식조합구(混植組合區)에서 혼식효과(混植效果)가 나타났으며, 1000립중(粒重)은 소비구(少肥區)에서 혼식조합간(混植組合間)에는 추청(秋晴)벼와 동진(東津)벼 혼식조합(混植組合)과 3품종(品種) 혼식조합구(混植組合區)에서 혼식효과(混植效果)가 높았다. 8. 수량(收量)은 단식구(單植區)보다 혼식구(混植區)에서 4.6% 증수(增收)되었으며 특히 소비구(少肥區)에서 증수(增收)가 현저했다. 혼식조합별(混植組合別)로는 추청(秋晴)벼와 동진(東津)벼 혼식조합구(混植組合區)에서 6.8% 증수(增收)되어 혼식효과(混植效果)가 가장 높았다. 9. 수량(收量)은 $m^2$당(當) 수수(穗數)와 건물중(乾物重)에 고도(高度)의 유의차(有意差)가 인정(認定)되었으며 수당(穗當) 영화수(穎花數)와 등숙율(登熟率)과는 유의차(有意差)가 인정(認定)되지 않았다.

삼림군집구조 조사를 위한 조사구 크기에 관한 연구(I) -소백산지역 활엽수혼효림군집 교목층의 적정 조사구수- (Plot Size for Investigating Forest Community Structure(I) -Adequate Number of Plots of Tree Stratum in a Mixed Deciduous Forest Community at Sobaeksan Area-)

  • 빈도측정을 고려 한 삼림군립구조 조사시 교목층의 적정 조사구수를 결정하기 위하여 우점종인 물푸레나무의 중요치가 28.1%인 소백산지역 활엽수혼효림군집의 교목층을 대상으로 20개의 l0m $\times$ l0m 조사구를 설치한 후 종수-면적 곡선, performance curve, 통계학적 방법 등을 적용하였다. 종수-면적 곡선에 있어서 누적조사구수의 증가율보다 출현종수의 증가율이 낮은 최소 조사구수는 8개이었으며, 누적조사구수의 증가율에 비하여 출현종수의 증가율이 1/2 이하인 최소 조사구수는 11개이었다. 주요수종의 중요치에 의한 performance curve를 작성한 결과 우점종과 준우점종의 구분이 뚜렷해지는 최소 조사구수는 5개이었으며, 준우점종간의 구분도 뚜렷해지는 최소조사구수는 10개이었다. 따라서, 삼림군집 구조의 기본적인 측도인 출현종수와 중요치를 고려할 때 본 조사지에 있어서 l0m $\times$ l0m 교목층 조사구의 적정 조사구수는 10개인 것으로 나타났다. 이때, 군집을 대표한다고 할 수 있는 20개 전체조사구와의 유사도지수는 90% 이상이었으며, 모집단인 군집 종다양도에 대한 신뢰구간은 $\pm$0.073이었다.

Effect on Rice Growth and Change of Inorganic Nitrogen Content in Soil by Application with Rice Bran and Mixed Expeller Cake Fertilizer on Machine Transplanting Rice Paddy Field

  • This study was conducted to find a method using the application of rice bran and mixed expeller cake at machine transplanting rice paddy field. Different ratios of rice bran and mixed expeller cake were sprayed as substitute of chemical fertilizer (nitrogen 90kg $ha^{-1}$) before transplanting. Nitrogen content was highest in 30th day after transplantation, and in relation to treatments the order was the following: Rice bran 1,000kg $ha^{-1}$ + Mixed expeller cake 1,374kg $ha^{-1}$ > rice bran 2,000kg $ha^{-1}$ + Mixed expeller cake 948kg $ha^{-1}$ > rice bran 3,000kg $ha^{-1}$ + Mixed expeller cake 522kg $ha^{-1}$. Number of panicle and spikelets per $m^{-2}$ was higher in rice bran 1,000kg $ha^{-1}$ + Mixed expeller cake 1,374kg $ha^{-1}$ and rice bran 2,000kg $ha^{-1}$ + Mixed expeller cake 948kg $ha^{-1}$ than in rice bran 3,000kg $ha^{-1}$ + Mixed expeller cake 522kg $ha^{-1}$ and the yields was the highest in rice bran 1,000kg $ha^{-1}$ + Mixed expeller cake 1,374kg $ha^{-1}$.

완전혼합영역을 갖는 성층축열조의 충전과정에 대한 이론적인 해석 (Theoretical Analysis of the Charging Process with Perfectly Mixed Region in Stratified Thermal Storage Tanks)

  • A theoretical one-dimensional model for the charging process in stratified thermal storage tanks is established presuming that the fluid ensuing from the tank inlet creates a perfectly mixed, layer above the thermocline. Both the generic and asymptotic closed-form solutions are obtained via the Laplace transformation. The asymptotic solution describes the nature of the charging pertaining to the case of no thermal diffusion, whereas the generic solution is of practical importance to understand the role of operating parameters on the stratification. The present model is validated through comparison with available experimental data, where they agree well with each other within a reasonable limit. An interpretation of the exact solution entails two important features associated with the charging process. The first is that an in-crease in the mixing depth $h_m$ causes a relatively slow temperature rise in the perfectly mixed region, but on the other hand it results in a faster decay of the overall temperature gradient across the thermocline. Next is the predominance of the mixing depth in the presence of the prefectly mixed region. In such a case the effect of the Peclet number is marginal and there-fore the thermal characteristics are solely dependent on the mixing depth paticularly for large $h_m$. The Peclet number affects significantly only for the case without mixing. Variation of the storage efficiency in response to the change in the mass flow rate agrees favorably with the published experimental results, which confirms the utility of the present study.

혼합된 수준들의 속성들을 갖는 컨조인트 분석 (Conjoint analysis with mixed levels of attributes)

  • Purpose: The conjoint analyst in marketing are interested in detecting whether there exist synergy or antagonistic effects between two attributes. In the cases where attributes have two or three levels, we research on the design of survey questionnaire to estimate all the main effect and as many two factor interaction effects as possible. Methods: We consider the balanced incomplete block (BIB) mixed level factorial design $2^f{\times}3^g$ or fractional factorial design. To reduce the number of questions in a questionnaire, we propose the balanced incomplete block mixed level design with minimum aberration which is generated by implementing proc factex in SAS. Also, we propose using two or three level BIB factorial design instead of mixed level designs by transforming three level attributes into two attributes of two levels and two level attribute into three level attribute by using dummy level technique. Results: We propose three methods for designing survey questionnaire where the block and design generators are found with practical number of questions in a questionnaire. By analyzing all the respondents survey data generated by the simulation study, we find the proper model and do the concepts optimization. Conclusion: The proposed methods of designing survey questionnaires seem to perform well in the sense that the proper model, and then the optimal concept is found in a case study where all the respondents survey data are generated by the simulation study.

김치유래 Lactic acid bacteria에 의한 양배추 즙의 발효특성 (Characteristics of Cabbage Juice Fermented by Lactic Acid Bacteria from Kimchi)

  • The objective of this study was to determine the quality characteristics of cabbage juice fermented by lactic acid bacteria from Kimchi (Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Lactobacillus sakei SL1103, Lactobacillus plantarum LS5, and mixed starter). Cabbage juice was inoculated with lactic acid bacteria and fermented at 30 for 72 hrs. Changes in lactic acid bacteria number, pH, titratable acidity, Brix, and color during fermentation were analyzed. After fermentation for 24 hrs, cabbage juice fermented by mixed starter showed the highest number of lactic acid bacteria (9.45 log CFU/mL). The pH of all cabbage juice also decreased to 3.88~4.19 sharply, while cabbage juice fermented by Lac. sakei SL1103 showed the highest Brix ($8.38^{\circ}Bx$). Cabbage juice fermented by mixed starter showed the highest L value (56.83). In the sensory evaluation, cabbage juice fermented by a mixed starter (Leu. mesenteroides, Lac. sakei SL1103, and Lac. plantarum LS5) showed the highest preferences in taste, flavor, and overall acceptability. Therefore, cabbage juice fermented by mixed starter (Leu. mesenteroides, Lac. sakei SL1103 and Lac. plantarum LS5) has the highest potential for the development of fermented cabbage juice as an excellent bioactive functional food.

High-throughput Low-complexity Mixed-radix FFT Processor using a Dual-path Shared Complex Constant Multiplier

  • This paper presents a high-throughput low-complexity 512-point eight-parallel mixed-radix multipath delay feedback (MDF) fast Fourier transform (FFT) processor architecture for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) applications. To decrease the number of twiddle factor (TF) multiplications, a mixed-radix $2^4/2^3$ FFT algorithm is adopted. Moreover, a dual-path shared canonical signed digit (CSD) complex constant multiplier using a multi-layer scheme is proposed for reducing the hardware complexity of the TF multiplication. The proposed FFT processor is implemented using TSMC 90-nm CMOS technology. The synthesis results demonstrate that the proposed FFT processor can lead to a 16% reduction in hardware complexity and higher throughput compared to conventional architectures.

액정을 이용한 3차원 사각채널 내 혼합대류의 정량적 가시화 (Quantitative Visualization of Mixed Convection in 3-D Rectangular Channels Using TLC Tracers)

  • Experiment is carried out to investigate the mixed convective flow in three-dimensional horizontal rectangular channels filled with high viscous fluid. The particle image velocimetry(PIV) with thermo-sensitive liquid crystal tracers is used for visualizing and analysis. Quantitative data of temperature and velocity are obtained by applying the color-image processing to a visualized image, and neural network is applied to the color-to-temperature calibration. In this study, the fluid used is silicon oil(Pr=909), the aspect ratio(channel width to heigh) is 4 and Reynolds number is $2{\times}10^{-2}$. From the present study, we can visualize the quantitative temperature and velocity of mixed convective flow in three-dimensional horizontal rectangular channels simultaneously.

  • This paper describes the influence of through-flow on the mixed convection in a parallel plates with the upper part is cooled and the lower part heated. When forced convection is imposed on natural convection, it is found that the flow pattern of mixed convection in the parallel plates can be classified into three patterns which were affected by Reynolds number. In such a mixed convection, the flow pattern plays an important role in the heat transfer process. In this study, thermo-sensitive liquid crystal suspension method is employed, then the visualization image acquired through the above method is processed by the color image processing technique and the two-dimensional velocity vector and temperature configuration are measured simultaneously.
