In cold forging die the shrink fitting is generally used to decrease stress and increase die life. In this paper we have studied about the effect of fitting type, When the die insert is splitted into several pieces the maximum stress could be decreased as much as 50~70% The fitting angle could be selected to minimize the maximum stress and the variation of stress on loading and unloading, . In F, E.M result in case 3。 fitting angle the maximum and variation of stress may be minimized.

본 연구는 오류를 최소화한 초음파 수신량에 따라 구동부의 이동위치를 결정하고 이에 따른 각각의 제어신호를 출력하여 원단, 제지 등의 끝단을 정밀하게 제어함으로써 헌팅현상 등을 방지하여 물체가 더 정확한 위치에서 감기도록 유도하는 장치에 관한 것이다.

An attempt is made to find the boundary tangential components of potential magnetic fields without constructing solutions in the entire domain. In our procedure, the magnetic energy is expressed as a functional of tangential and normal magnetic fields at the boundary and is minimized by the variational principle. This paper reports a preliminary study on two dimensional potential fields above a plane.

yongdam multipurpose is under construction to divert a part fo Geum riverlfow to Mankyung watershed and to supply the domestic water to the Chunju region and produce the hydro-electricity. Generally construction of dam by the method of inther-region water transfer affects the quantity and quality of water inthe down streams and reservoirs. The impact of operation plan of Yondgam dam on the quantity and quality of water in the Guem river and Daechung dam was investigated .It was recommended that the discharge of water transfer from one watershed to another should be minimized as much as possible.

This paper presents a new variational framework for detecting and tracking moving objects in image sequence. Motion detection is performed using Level Set Model. The original frame is used to provide th moving object boundaries Then, the detection and the tracking problem are addressed in a common framework that employs a inward-outward curve evolution function. This function is minimized using a gradient decent method.

The magnetic forming system must be able to store very important electric energy, several tens kilojoules, and flow this energy through the forming coil within some hundreds microseconds. So several hundreds kiloamperes of current can flow through the branch conductor. For the good performance of this type of machine, internal impedance must be minimized. By the computation of distribution of current inside the conductors using integral equation method, we can obtain the inductance and resistance of some dispositions of branch conductors and by comparison obtain some principles for the design of branch conductors in the high power magnetic pulse generator.

We consider a vacation system in which the server takes two different types of vacations alternately. We obtain the server idle probability and derive the system size distribution and the waiting time distribution by defining supplementary variables. We show that the decomposition property works for these mixed-vacation queues. We also propose a method directly to obtain the waiting time distribution without resorting to the system equations. The T-policy is revisited and is shown that the cost is minimized when the length of vacations are the same.

This paper presents a method to improve reliability by dispersed generation (DG) installation considering load types and interruption cost. The objective functions such as power losses cost, operation cost of DGS, power buy cost and interruption cost are minimized for reliability improvement and efficient operation. The several indices for reliability evaluation are improved by dispersed generation system installation.
