이온마이그레이션에 대한 플라스틱과 금속첨가제의 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Metallic Fillers and Plastic for Ionic Migration)

  • Electrical failures and reliability problems of electronic components by ionic migration between adjacent device terminals have become an issue in automotive electronics. Especially unlike galvanic corrosion, ionic migration is occurred at high temperature and high humidity under applied electric field condition. Until now, although extensive studies of the ionic migrations dealing with PCBs, electrodes, and solders were reported, there is no study on the effect of insulation polymers and metallic fillers for ionic migration. In this research, therefore, ionic migration induced by the types and contents of polymers and metallic fillers, and variety conditions of temperature, humidity, and applied voltage was studied in detail. Ester and amide types of liquid crystal polymer (LCP) and poly (phthalamide) (PPA) were used as base polymers, respectively and compounded with the metallic fillers of Copper iodide (CuI), Zinc stearate (Zn-st), or Calcium stearate (Ca-st) in various compositions. The compounding polymers were fabricated in IPC-B-24 of SIR test coupon according to ISO 9455-17 with Cu electrodes for ionic migration test. While there is no change in LCP-based samples, ionic migration in PPA compounding sample with a high water absorption property was accelerated in the presence of 0.25 wt% or above of CuI at the environmental conditions of 85℃, 85% RH and 48V. The dendritic short-circuit growth of Cu caused by ionic migration between the electrodes on the surface of compounded polymers was systematically observed and analyzed by using optical microscopy and SEM (EDX).

Rac1 inhibition protects the kidney against kidney ischemia/reperfusion through the inhibition of macrophage migration

  • Kidney ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury, a common cause of acute kidney injury (AKI), is associated with the migration of inflammatory cells into the kidney. Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1 (Rac1), a member of the Rho family of small GTPase, plays an important role in inflammatory cell migration by cytoskeleton rearrangement. Here, we investigated the role of Rac1 on kidney I/R injury and macrophage migration. Male mice were subjected to either 25 min of bilateral ischemia followed by reperfusion (I/R) or a sham operation. Some mice were administrated with either NSC23766, an inhibitor of Rac1, or 0.9% NaCl (vehicle). Kidney damage and Rac1 activity and expression were measured. The migration and lamellipodia formation of RAW264.7 cells, mouse monocyte/macrophage, induced by monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1, a chemokine) were determined using transwell migration assay and phalloidin staining, respectively. In sham-operated kidneys, Rac1 was expressed in tubular cells and interstitial cells. In I/R-injured kidneys, Rac1 expression was decreased in tubule cells in correlation with the damage of tubular cells, whereas Rac1 expression increased in the interstitium in correlation with an increased population of F4/80 cells, monocytes/macrophages. I/R increased Rac1 activity without changing total Rac1 expression in the whole kidney lysates. NSC23766 administration blocked Rac1 activation and protected the kidney against I/R-induced kidney damage and interstitial F4/80 cell increase. NSC23766 suppressed monocyte MCP-1-induced lamellipodia and filopodia formation and migration of RAW 264.7 cells. These results indicate Rac1 inhibition protects the kidney against I/R via inhibition of monocytes/macrophages migration into the kidney.

위계로짓모형을 활용한 비수도권 청년층의 이주유형별 결정요인 비교분석 (A Study on the Determinants of Migration Types of the Youth in Non-metropolitan Areas by using a Hierarchical Logit Model)

  • 본 연구는 비수도권 청년층의 이주유형 특성이 지역별로 상이하게 나타난다는 점에 주목하여 이주유형별 결정요인의 차이를 비교 분석하는 데 주요 목적을 두었다. 먼저 비수도권 청년층의 이주 실태 및 특성을 탐색적으로 분석한 후 위계로짓모형을 활용하여 이주유형별 결정요인을 각각 추정하였다. 분석 결과 이주유형별 특성이 지역별로 상이하게 관찰되었고, 각각의 이주유형별 결정요인 또한 서로 다른 변수(개인 및 지역수준)들의 묶음(bundle)으로 구성되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 향후 비수도권의 청년인력 확보 정책은 다양한 이주선택의 결정요인을 충분히 고려하고 지역적 맥락이 반영될 때 정책의 효과를 배가시킬 수 있을 것이다.

지역이탈의 악순환: 출생지의 경제 환경과 청년 취업자의 지역이탈 (The Vicious Cycle of Regional Exodus: Examining the Economic Environment of Birthplace and the Out-migration of Young Individuals)

  • 지역이탈은 모든 비수도권 지역에서 겪고 있는 문제이지만, 지역 특성과 경제 여건에 따라 그 정도는 다를 것이다. 본 연구는, 인적 요인이 같을 때, 태어나고 성장한 지역의 경제 여건에 따라 청년의 지역이탈 양상과 정도가 다른지 분석하였다. 시·군·구 단위의 분석 결과 청년 이탈은 인구감소와 고령화 수준이 높고, 경제 규모와 재정이 취약한 지역일수록 더 심각하였다. 특히 의료시설을 제외한 상업·교육·문화시설은 청년 이탈을 억제하지 못하였다. 또한 출신 지역과 무관하게 수도권 취업자와 지역 취업자 간에는 유의한 임금 격차가 나타났다. 이는 우리나라 비수도권 지역이 지역 경제 악화와 청년 이탈의 악순환 고리에 빠져있음을 시사한다.

저장 조건에서의 플라스틱 포장재와 지방산의 전이도 측정 (Migration Behavior of Fatty Materials into the Selected Plastic Film During Storage)

  • Increasing use of plastics in food packaging materials has led to the issue of food-plastic packaging materials's mutual interactions. Although the plastic packaging materials are generally considered as inert, migration and sorption of fatty materials are some of the problems associated with their use. So, this work investigated the compatibility of three structurally different polymers, polypropylene (PP), polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) and ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) with some structurally different food fats. The main goal was to study the sorption of food fats by the plastic films and to see what extent mechanical properties of the plastic films was affected by plasticization effect due to sorption of fatty materials. PP, PET, and EVOH films was immersed in pure triglycerides, and then extracted with hexane and analyzed for the amounts of fat migrated. The sorbed films were also investigated for change in mechanical properties. Result showed that structural factor of the films and fatty materials plays important role in th migration process. The fat with the simplest structure are migrated more easily that the fat with more complex structure. However, structural effect of migration was varied according to degree of crystallinity and density of plastic films. In addition to that, polarity of plastic film was affected migration of fatty materials significantly. Additional research is needed to justify the reason why migration of fatty materials into the films was affected by polarity and structural integrity.

v-Crk Induces Rac-dependent Membrane Ruffling and Cell Migration in CAS-deficient Embryonic Fibroblasts

  • Crk-associated substrate (CAS) is a focal adhesion protein that is involved in integrin signaling and cell migration. CAS deficiency reduces the migration and spreading of cells, both of which are processes mediated by Rac activation. We examined the functions of v-Crk, the oncogene product of the CT10 virus p47gag-crk, which affects cell migration and spreading, membrane ruffling, and Rac activation in CAS-deficient mouse embryonic fibroblasts (CAS-/- MEFs). CAS-/- MEFs showed less spreading than did CAS+/+ MEFs, but spreading was recovered in mutant cells that expressed v-Crk (CAS-/-v-Crk MEF). We observed that the reduction in spreading was linked to the formation of membrane ruffles, which were accompanied by Rac activation. In CAS-/- MEFs, Rac activity was significantly reduced, and Rac was not localized to the membrane. In contrast, Rac was active and localized to the membrane in CAS-/-v-Crk MEFs. Lamellipodia protrusion and ruffle retraction velocities were both reduced in CAS-/- MEFs, but not in CAS-/-v-Crk MEFs. We also found that microinjection of anti-gag antibodies inhibited the migration of CAS-/-v-Crk MEFs. These findings indicate that v-Crk controls cell migration and membrane dynamics by activating Rac in CAS-deficient MEFs.

공정조성 SnPb Solder 합금의 부식 및 Electrochemical Migration 특성에 미치는 SO42- 이온의 영향 (Effect of SO42- Ion on Corrosion and Electrochemical Migration Characteristics of Eutectic SnPb Solder Alloy)

  • Electrochemical migration phenomenon is correlated with ionization of anode electrode, and ionization of anode metal has similar mechanism with corrosion phenomenon. In this work, in-situ water drop test and evaluation of corrosion characteristics for SnPb solder alloys in $Na_2SO_4$ solutions were carried out to understand the fundamental electrochemical migration characteristics and to correlate each other. It was revealed that electrochemical migration behavior of SnPb solder alloys was closely related to the corrosion characteristics, and Sn Ivas primarily ionized in ${SO_4}{^2-}$ solutions. The quality of passive film formed at film surface seems to be critical not only for corrosion resistance but also for electrochemical migration resistance of solder alloys.

시간단위와 LST-GET에 의한 시간지원 데이터의 이동 기법 (Temporal Data Migration Strategies by Time Granularity and LST-GET)

  • 이 논문에서는 시간지원 데이터의 시간적 특성을 고려해서 과거 세그먼트, 현재 세그먼트, 그리고 미래 세그먼트로 분리해서 저장하는 과거 현재 미래 저장 구조를 제안하였으며, 과거 현재 미래 저장 구조를 기반으로 하는 데이터 이동 기법 두 가지를 제안하였다. 이 논문에서 제안한 과거 현재-미래 저장 구조에서는 데이터 이동 프로세서가 데이터를 이동하기 위한 시기를 결정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 이 논문에서 제안한 데이터 이동 기법 두 가지 중에서, 시간단위에 의한 이동 기법에서는 각 세그먼트에 저장되는 개체 버전을 정의하였고 데이터의 유효성을 검사하고 이동하는 과정을 보였다. 그리고 LST-GET에 의한 이동 기법에서는LST와GET를 정의하였고 LST와GET를 기준으로 각 세그먼트에 저장되는 개체 버전을 정의하였다. 모의 실험을통해서 기존의 저장 구조와 과거-현재 미래 저장 구조에 대해서 사용자 질의에 대한 성능을 비교하였고, 두 가지 데이터 이동 기법의 성능을 분석하였다.

The SH2 domain is crucial for function of Fyn in neuronal migration and cortical lamination

  • Neurons in the developing brain form the cortical plate (CP) in an inside-out manner, in which the late-born neurons are located more superficially than the early-born neurons. Fyn, a member of the Src family kinases, plays an important role in neuronal migration by binding to many substrates. However, the role of the Src-homology 2 (SH2) domain in function of Fyn in neuronal migration remains poorly understood. Here, we demonstrate that the SH2 domain is essential for the action of Fyn in neuronal migration and cortical lamination. A point mutation in the Fyn SH2 domain ($Fyn^{R176A}$) impaired neuronal migration and their final location in the cerebral cortex, by inducing neuronal aggregation and branching. Thus, we provide the first evidence of the Fyn SH2 domain contributing to neuronal migration and neuronal morphogenesis.

가스 하이드레이트 자료에 대한 중합전 키르히호프 심도 구조보정 (Kirchhoff prestack depth migration for gas hydrate seismic data set)

  • Korean Institute of Geosciences and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) has studied on gas hydrate in the Ulleung Basin, East sea of Korea since 1997. Most of all, a evidence for existence of gas hydrate, possible new energy resources, in seismic reflection data is bottom simulating reflection (BSR) which parallel to the sea bottom. Here we conducted the conventional data processing for gas hydrate data and Kirchhoff prestack depth migration. Kirchhoff migration is widely used for pre- and post-stack migration might be helpful to better image as well as to get the geological information. The processed stack image by GEOBIT showed some geological structures such as faults and shallow gas hydrate seeping area indicated by strong BSR. The BSR in the stack image showed at TWT 3.07s between shot gather No 3940 to No 4120. The estimated gas seeping area occurred at the shot point No 4187 to No 4203 and it seems to have some minor faults at shot point No 3735, 3791, 3947 and 4120. According to the result of depth migration, the BSR showed as 2.3km below the sea bottom.
