Analyzing the change in consumption pattern depending on the employment of married women, the spendings in transportation, education, and dining out are increased. The change in consumption patterns depending on the increase of dual-income family can be seen as the increased demand of market service that replaces the household production service. Especially when the employment of married woman from high income class(highly educated, middle-class, upper-class) is increased, they tend to get employed in more professional and highly skilled industries, which leads to higher effect on employment induction, and consequently increasing the labor demand for low-skilled service industry.

The purpose of this study is to empirically test some hypotheses derived from the alliance model of the family, which focuses on theorizing situations in which family members simultaneously compete with other members within a family and rivals in society to maximize their statuses in the family and in society. Specifically, associations between wives' level of income relative to that of their husbands and each spouse's satisfaction with family relationships were examined, using the first wave of Korea Welfare Panel Study having been conducted in 2006 by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs. The results of the analyses showed that three ones among four research hypotheses were supported. Wives' satisfaction with family relationships was negatively associated with their relative level of income. This pattern strongly appeared among wives from lower class families rather than among wives from middle/upper class families. Relationship between wives' relative level of income and husbands' satisfaction with family relationships was likely to be bi-directional among husbands from middle/upper class families. Unlike the author's expectation, however, this bi-directional relationship was not observed among husbands from lower class families.

The purpose of this study is to classify the potential types of mental health of mothers of multicultural youth by applying Latent Profile Analysis, analyze the influence of predictors, and find out how differences in potential types affect parental efficacy. To this end, panel data for the 9th year (2019) of the Multicultural Youth Panel Survey (MAPS) were used. As a result of the analysis, first, the mental health types of mothers of multicultural adolescents were analyzed in the order of 'middle risk type of mental health'(class3) > 'high risk type of self-esteem'(class1) > 'high risk type of mental health'(class4) > 'cultural adaptation and daily life stress'(class2). We consider the problem of estimating the change-point in mean change model with one change-point. Gombay and Huskova(1998) derived a class of change-point estimators with the score function of rank. A change-point estimator with the log score function of rank is suggested and is shown to be involved in the class of Gombay and Huskova(1988). The simulation results show that the proposed estimator has smaller rose, larger proportion of matching the true change-point than the other estimators considered in the experiment when the change-point occurs in the middle of the sample.
This study is focused on the historical route in which reconciliation between work and family has been operating in the United States whose welfare standards are low, by using analytic narratives, from late 19th century to early 20th century. The first step saw an increase in the social advancement of unmarried women due to the increase in employment in the occupation of white-collar, as well as the increase of women in the Academy and in educational institutions. In the second step, the social advancement of married women was increased by the enforcement of the New Deal, consumption capitalism, and World War II. In the third step, the sphere of highly-educated women was expanded to a professional one through active measures aimed at gender equality, and the women's liberation movement of the 1960s took place. The United States' path model was completed in the fourth step. This study show that the most important factors have a significant influence to complete route of the American's Route were individual efforts of women (capacity building through the academic and the powerful women's movement) and the individual employment relationship in labor market. This study shows that individual efforts of women, especially in building capacity through the academic and the powerful women's movement, and the labor market, whose individual employment relationship is well-developed, have a significant influence on completing the route of the highly educated middle-class women in America.
False sleeves are 'the sleeves that are attached to clothes but exist just as a part without any function to put arms in them.' They are different from sleeves to put arms in them and are to follow the trend or a way of wearing clothes. They are mostly found in medieval Europe's decorative sleeves named 'Hanging sleeves', but they are also found in Eastern region, too. They are found in sleeves that attached women's headgear in East and Middle Asia, and also in high-class male caftan in Ottoman Turk in the 16th and 17th century. False sleeves can be divided into two kinds by shapes. The first ones are the decorative sleeves of which trunk-shaped sleeves hang around the whole or part of the arm hole but have no function to put arms in them; this is called as 'sleeve-shaped False sleeves'. These sleeves are found in women's headgear in medieval Europe, Ottoman Turk, and East and Middle Asia. False sleeves in Europe and Ottoman Turk played a role in showing wealth and power while those in East and Middle Asia had a great role in highlighting the costume's decorative effect. The second ones are the sleeves hanging down from the arms by attaching long cloth to the arm hole, in design; these are named as 'cape-shaped False sleeves.' This style is found only in medieval Europe, and presumably, these cape-shaped false sleeves may have played a role in boasting of one's wealth and power.
