지향성 보청기 성능 검사 장치 개발 (Development of Directional Digital Hearing Aid Performance Testing System)

  • The most recent trend on digital hearing aid is to increase the ratio of signal to noise by directivity or to develop noise reduction algorithm inside DSP IC chip. This paper designed, fabricated and tested a digital hearing aid directivity testing device in which a micro-mouse-1ike the stepping motor with a speaker rotates around an examinant. Both ears of the examinant were fixed with ITE hearing aids in order to response to receiving sound. The experimental results were compared with a boundary element method program for verification. The diameter of the directivity testing device was 2 [m] and the micro-mouse was precisely controlled by PICBASIC micro processor.

  • The goal of this paper is to minimize the weight of the T-structure supporting steering system in reducing the vibration level on steering wheel which could be amplified by the resonance. Presently, requirements for reducing noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) in automotive area are more stringent than ever. One of them is the vibration of steering system which occurs sometimes at high speeds or when the engine is idling. Besides, the reduction of weight is also one of requirements for improvement of vehicle performance. This paper used the micro genetic algorithm as an optimization method to satisfy above two requirements. The whole T-structure assembly including steering column was used for frequency analysis.

  • This paper introduces an experimental study for the noise reduction of a ventilating fan system. For the purpose of noise reduction, conventionally an absorptive duct silencer filled with a glass fiber has been utilized. However, a glass fiber has some disadvantages like hygiene and secondary pollution problems. In order to overcome these problems, in this paper, a perforated duct silencer has been applied to the ventilating fan system. For the designing of a perforated duct silencer, the transmission losses for various perforated panel systems are measured and compared with its noise reduction performance.

  • This paper describes the reduction of vibration and position error of Linear Pulse Motor(LPM) with the control method of PWM duty ratio by using Motion Controller in LPM. The LPM is operated on micro-stepping drive, that the linear scale is sequently returned the position signals of a micro-meter And next micro-step is controlled with the scale factor when position error is occurred. The scale factor is experimently acquired.

  • Recently reduction of industrial products in size and weight has been increased by application of micro-drills in gadgets of high precision and a great interest of a micro-drilling has been raised. Due to the lack of tool stiffness and the chip packing, the micro-drilling requires not only the robust tool structure which has not affected by vibration but also effective drilling methods designed to prevent tool fracture from cutting troubles. This paper presents an optimum design shape of a 0.15 mm micro-drill associated with a new manufacturing process to improve the production rate and to lengthen the tool life and suggestions on the micro-drilling characteristic properties associated with the tool life and workpiece quality.

Due to the lack of tool stiffness and the chip packing, micro-drilling requires not only the robust tool structure which has not affected by the vibration, but also the effective drilling methods designed to prevent tool fracture from cutting troubles. Firstly, this paper presents a new manufacturing process of micro-drill for improving the product rate and an optimum shape of micro-drill for lengthening the tool life, and secondly suggests between tool life and drilling torque acquired in the inprocess monitoring system.

마이크로 드릴비트 연마 시스템 연삭휠의 마모 진단 연구 (A Study on the Wear Condition Diagnosis of Grinding Wheel in Micro Drill-bit Grinding System)

  • In this study, to diagnose the grinding state of a micro drill bit, a sensor attachment location was selected through random vibration analysis of the grinding unit of the micro drill-bit grinding system. In addition, the vibration data generated during the drill bit grinding were collected from the grinding unit for the grinding wheels under the steady and worn conditions, and data feature extraction and dimension reduction were performed. The wear of the micro-drill-bit grinding wheel was diagnosed by applying KNN, a machine-learning algorithm. The classification model showed excellent performance, with an accuracy of 99.2%. The precision, recall and f1-score were higher than 99% in both the steady and wear conditions.

마이크로 가스터빈 발전시스템 운전신뢰성평가 (Evaluation of Operation Reliability for Micro Gas Turbine(MGT) Power Generation System)

  • As Decentralized Generation(DG) becomes more reliable and economically feasible, it is expected that a higher application of DG units would be interconnected to the existing grids. This new market penetration of DG technologies is linked to a large number of factors like technologies costs and performances, interconnection issues, safety, market regulations, environmental issues or grid connection constrains. This paper describes the procedures and results for the mechanical, electrical, and environmental tests of MGT on actual grid-connection under Korean regulations. As one of the achievements, the simulation model of MGT was developed, so that it will be able to analyze or propose new distributed generation system using MGT. The field test was conducted in order to respond to a wide variety of needs for noise reduction and utilization and its performance was evaluated in consideration of its operational problems. The MGT is successfully supplying electricity to Korean grids with satisfying various regulations. The suggested strategy and experience for the evaluation of the distributed generation will be used for the introduction of other distributed generation technologies into the grid in the future.
