  • This study investigates the actual status of Saturday program operation in Busan and explores the routes for acquiring information about the Saturday program and satisfaction with the program operation with the subjects of middle school students residing in Busan in order to develop efficient operation methods and also find ways to enhance the participation rate of the students. Therefore, with the subjects of 569 first, second, and third graders at 3 middle schools located in Busan, this research investigated the actual status of Saturday program operation in Busan to figure out the participation rate and satisfaction of the Saturday program, efficient operation methods for the Saturday program and ways to encourage participation in the Saturday program. It is needed to install cooperative Saturday program support centers to be operated collaboratively by local autonomous entities and the offices of education afterwards. And it is necessary to figure out which institution should take charge of the Saturday program according to the requests from teachers and students so that the proper institution can secure the budget and manpower and build a system to develop and operate the Saturday program.

  • The main factors to bring out the power failure are trouble and operation power failure, the operation power failure of these includes about 85%. So, it is required that the without interruption of service method reduce the operation power failure. If we develop the without interruption of service method, the operation power failure will reduce greatly. It is necessary to develop the without interruption of service method which it solve various trobles (dissatisfacting solution of customer, sales revenue augmentation, and the reduction of the power failure negotiation work). The results of study are drawing up of the specification for temporary transmission methods, it of the working methods for them, and the scrutiny of the technology contents for them.

  • An effective grafting method for jujube nursery trees was developed to shorten the operation time, improve the percentage of "takes" and shoot emergence, and form the better graft union. Out of 7 grafting methods the splice, modified scion Ono graft and the bark graft showed relatively short operation time during the grafting operation comparing to the modified rootstock Ono graft or the chip budding. Among these methods, the bark graft demonstrated 100% "takes", but the modified scion Ono graft or the standard Ono graft showed 58.3% of "takes". The percentages of the vegetative shoot emergence were 100% fir the bark graft, 70% f3r the modified scion Ono graft and lower emergence percent for the rest grafting methods. The union tissue formation for the modified scion Ono graft, the bark graft, or the whip-and-tongue graft was significantly larger than the standard Ono graft or the splice graft. In a close examination of the cross sectional areas of the graft union formation through the microscope, the bark graft was superior, the standard Ono graft was inferior and rest of the grafting methods were intermediate.ing methods were intermediate.

  • At container terminals, a major measurement of productivity can be work efficiency. For improving the productivity of container crane, the more efficient container yard operation method is necessary in container terminals. Recently, container terminal operators make an experiment on the dual cycle operation, which ship loading/unloading were carried out simultaneously, for increasing the productivity of container crane. In this paper, propose a system operating efficient dual cycle methods as utilize Ad-hoc technology in distributed port operation system. The dual cycle methods that proposed recognizes position information of Y/T during an action in Ad-hoc networks in case of container transfer works by real time as load an Ad-hoc module to Y/T taking charge of a container transfer with quay and yard. Utilize Ad-hoc networks technology in an operating system of container yard, and efficiently distributed processing done Y/T to container crane compare with operation systems of the existing dedicated method, and an improvement can do an operating system of an yard.

  • Distribution system is one of large and complicated sytem, consisted of a great number of components. Therefore efficient operation based on precise analysis and computation methods is indispensable accommodating growing loads. This paper describes an optimal operation problem to relieve overload flow in radial distribution systems by using modified block model. The problem is formulated as a network problem of synthesizing the optimal spanning tree in a graph, branch and bound method is used for the optimization. Especially modified block model proposed in this paper is validated more practical than conventional model. These methods can be applied to two types of distribution system problems such as, 1) planning problem to check the capability of relieving overload at normal rating, 2) emergency operation problem to determine switching scheme for minimizing customer loads affected by a fault. Examples of application to these problems are discussed.

  • The Multipurpose BIPV System(MBIPVS) was evaluated as an effective passive system through analyzing the thermal performance and the efficiency of PV power generation in the previous papers. To achieve the performance better, the operation method should be determined by considering physical conditions in each occasion. Thus, we cheesed the reference operation methods in each season set by the overview of the meteorological data for last 6 years, In-choen, and compared them with the various alternatives that we had made up with for improving thermal performance. The results from adopting various alternatives on MBIPVS showed that the appropriate operational model would be effective to the energy savings ; we could reduce the total loads 1,051.0[kWh] in summer and 108.9[kWh] in winter.

  • Railway transport of goods and passengers is effective in terms of energy conservation and travel time savings. Safety and ride quality have become important issues as train speeds have increased. Due to increased speeds, minor damage to railway structures and abnormal interactions between trains and structures have given rise to increasingly serious accidents. Therefore, structural health and operational conditions must be monitored continuously in all service environments. Currently, various health and operation management systems are being developed and these are reducing both maintenance frequency and costs associated with disassembly. In this review, major damage and malfunctions and their locations are first analyzed based on numerous references. Then advanced train health and operation management technologies are classified into wayside detection methods and advanced integrated sensor methods and their operating principle and functions are reviewed and analyzed.

  • A keratinized gingiva is important to the natural teeth and it is more essential to the health of the peri-implant mucosa of the implants. There are various surgical methods to restore a keratinized gingiva. First, a clinician could utilize apically positioned flap operation. This flap operation technique could be used as a full or partial thickness. If there is little keratinized gingival tissue available for the apically positioned flap operation, free gingival grafting should be used. Its technique sensitivity is relatively high, but using various surgical techniques and disciplines makes it simple and have the good predictability. There have been many considerations for those surgical techniques. Clinicians who treat for periodontitis or operate implant surgeries have to know the considerations and surgical methods.

  • Purpose: At the moment, There is a facility standard for intensive care units on the Korea medical services Act. However, the contents of regulation are so limited and difficult to apply. Therefore, it is necessary to draw up the guideline to complement the regulation for efficient operation of intensive care units. This study aims to suggest basic data for guideline of intensive care units. Methods: 2 Methods have been used in this paper. 1) Comparative analysis between the national regulation of Korea with the design standard of the United States America, the United Kingdom and Australia. 2) A literature survey about operation method for intensive care unit, focused on materials published in intensive care medicine society of each country. Results: In comparison with guideline of abroad cases, additional supplement are required, with regard to item such as operation environment, size, nursing manpower ratio, bed space area, space program of intensive care units for healing environment. Implications: This study is a basic research for guideline of intensive care unit, and need to be followed by further study using various perspectives and methods.
