가르치기 어려움에 대한 교육현상학적 검토 : 서양교육사에서 (A Study on Educational Difficulty in the History of Western Education)

  • The purpose of this study is researching on educational difficulty in the history of western education. In other words, the goal and significance of this paper lies in knowing the essential meaning of education based on the norms of difficulty. The major method for this study is hermeneutical-anthropological pedagogy. My fundamental claim is the following: the essential nature of teaching is difficulty at any instructional condition and situations. Such a discrete idea was clearly identified and confirmed in the process of pedagogical anthropology. That is, through the consciousness of educational difficulty and critical review for the history of western education, I can cleary define the concept of educational difficulty. Educational difficulty was various ways for understanding by all audiences. Namely, various formulars were developed for understanding it according to the age, cultures, nations, ideology, etc.. But there are continuous characters on the way for understanding on educational difficulty. The results on research are as followings. In the primitive age, fundamental difficulty of education lies in the initiation ceremony. At the classical ancient time, the purpose of education was 'Politai' with politike arete, in this educational conditions, instruction have a complex dimension politically as well as psychologically. At the medieval age, educational difficulty lies in the 'Askese' for instructional methods. In the modern and conventional age, educational difficulty is more and more complex and confused on goals, methods, evaluations, etc.. Most of all, the major or key concept of educational difficulty in this world is the conflict between the two instructional principles, that is, objectivism and constructivism in education. At now, the schoolworks for instruction over all educational situations and conditions have a difficulty of traditional as well conventional dilemma. In conclusion, educational difficulty have formal, natural, original attribute and it is general and universal phenomenon.

영유아 교원을 위한 저작권 교육 프로그램 개발 (Development of Copyright Education Program for the Infant and Child Teachers)

  • 본 연구는 영유아교육기관의 원장과 교사들을 대상으로 저작권 교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 저작권 교육 프로그램은 영유아 교원의 지식실태를 바탕으로 저작권 교육의 요구와 전문가 의견을 반영하여 개발하였다. 프로그램(안)은 영유아교육기관에서 교사와 원장을 대상으로 교육을 실행한 후 개방형 질문지와 심층면담을 통해서 전반적인 평가가 이루어졌다. 프로그램(안)은 평가를 통해 수정보완하여 '영유아교원을 위한 저작권 교육 프로그램'이 완성되었다. 프로그램은 교육목적, 교육목표, 교육내용, 교육방법, 운영방법, 교육평가로 구성되었으며, 교육내용은 영유아교육기관에서의 사례를 통해 전달하고자 하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the answer to the Question as "What is the meaning of the Science Education?". Semantic analyses were done according to each situations and contexts in science, education and science education. The following result was drawn: It is concluded that science education is the practtical behavior for the human as the purpose, through the science and education as the means and methods.

영재학생의 시험선발과 자동진급방법에 따른 영재학생의 학업정서, 메타인지능력, 자기효능감에 관한 연구 (A Study on Gifted Students Academic Emotion, Metacognition, Self-Efficacy According to Gifted Students Selection Methods between the examination selection and the automatic promotion)

  • 연구의 목적은 영재교육대상자의 선발 방법이다. 즉, 시험 선발과 자동 진급에 따라 선발된 영재학생간의 학업정서, 메타인지, 자기효능감을 차이를 비교, 분석함으로써 선발 방법에 따른 영재 학생의 특성을 이해하고 효과적인 영재교육을 위한 영재교육대상자 판별 및 선발에 있어서의 타당한 근거를 마련해 보고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영재선발방법에 따라 선발된 영재 학생간의 학업정서, 메타인지능력 및 자기효능감의 연구에서는 시험 선발 영재학생과 자동 진급 영재 학생 간에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 영재라는 동질 집단 조건에서는 선발방법의 차이에 따른 영향은 없는 것으로 판단된다. 둘째, 동일한 선발된 방법에 따른 비교에서, 영재학생의 학업정서를 살펴보면, 시험선발의 경우 초등과 중등 모두에서 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 자동진급에서는 중등의 영재교육기관별 분석에서 영재교육원 학생이 영재학급 학생보다 높았음을 알 수 있었다(p<.05). 메타인지능력에서 있어서는 초등에서는 차이가 없었으나, 중등의 경우 시험선발에서 남학생이, 영재교육원 학생이 높았고(p<.05), 자동진급에서는 영재교육원 학생이 높았음을 알았다(p<.05). 또한 자기효능감에서는 선발 방식에 따라 차이가 없었고 단지 자동진급에서 영재교육원 학생이 영재학급학생보다 높았음을 알았다(p<.05).

  • The article examines the process of professional training in educational institutions, media technologies and methods of media communication in the educational space of the institution, characterizes the place of media technologies in the educational space in the context of the term "educational space" itself, systematizes the methods of media communications in education. The peculiarities of media education as a set of means and methods of teaching young people adequate media perception are pointed out.

'역 분수 문제'에 대한 5학년 학생들의 해결 방법 분석 (An analysis of solution methods by fifth grade students about 'reverse fraction problems')

  • As the importance of algebraic thinking in elementary school has been emphasized, the links between fraction knowledge and algebraic thinking have been highlighted. In this study, we analyzed the solution methods and characteristics of thinking by fifth graders who have not yet learned fraction division when they solved 'reverse fraction problems' (Pearn & Stephens, 2018). In doing so, the contexts of problems were extended from the prior study to include the following cases: (a) the partial quantity with a natural number is discrete or continuous; (b) the partial quantity is a natural number or a fraction; (c) the equivalent fraction of partial quantity is a proper fraction or an improper fraction; and (d) the diagram is presented or not. The analytic framework was elaborated to look closely at students' solution methods according to the different contexts of problems. The most prevalent method students used was a multiplicative method by which students divided the partial quantity by the numerator of the given fraction and then multiplied it by the denominator. Some students were able to use a multiplicative method regardless of the given problem contexts. The results of this study showed that students were able to understand equivalence, transform using equivalence, and use generalizable methods. This study is expected to highlight the close connection between fraction and algebraic thinking, and to suggest implications for developing algebraic thinking when to deal with fraction operations.

성별에 따른 노인의 성인식 및 성교육 수요에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sexual Perception and Sexual-Education Demands of the Elderly According to Gender)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study is to suggest a direction for sexual education suitable for the aged by analyzing senior citizens' perception level and analyzing the demand for sexual education among the elderly, such as their feelings on the necessity of sexual education and the patterns of sex education. Methods : The population of this survey targeted elderly residents aged over 60 who are taking lectures at 4 university lifelong education centers that are located in Busan. The period of data collection was from May 10, 2013 to May 30, 2013. The methods of analyzing data were frequency analysis, t-test, and correlation analysis. Results : The general characteristic of the survey were that it included 60 men (41.1%) and 86 women(58.9%). As a result of the comparison of sexual perceptions and sexual-education demand according to gender, it was found that men had greater sexual perception and greater need for sexual education than did women. A correlation according to sexual-life perception and sexual-education demand showed a positive relationship and was statistically significant as well. Conclusions : This study will form a basis for formation of a direction for the development of sexual education programs.

웹 기반 부모교육 프로그램의 개발 및 적용을 위한 기초연구 (The Development and Implementation of Web-based Parental Education Programs)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and implement web-based parental education programs applicable for the parents of young children in Korea. The results of this study were as follows. First, the parents of the young children recognized the importance of parental education, but were unable to participate in face-to-face parental education programs. However, they welcomed the possibility of participating in web-based parental education programs. Second, to develop web-based parental education programs, the parents' needs should be assessed and preliminary content analysis based on the previous works and subject specialists' opinions should be conducted. In addition, results of research about web-based education programs in various fields, especially about teaching-learning methods in web-based education for adult learners, should be considered in the process of developing web-based programs for the parents of young children. Third, various types of needs and demands should be assessed during the step-by-step program application periods and at the end of the program implementation. Finally, the parents who participated and assessed the web-based parental education program in this study were generally satisfied with the content and teaching-learning methods.

COVID-19 팬데믹에서 나타난 의학교육의 과제와 전략 (Challenges and Strategies in Medical Education in the COVID-19 Pandemic)

  • The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has profoundly impacted all aspects of undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education. Only the focus of medical education-care for patients and communities-has remained an integral part of all of the above sectors. Several challenges have been experienced by learners and educators as the education and training of future doctors has continued in the midst of this crisis, including the cancellation of face-to-face classes and training, reduced patient encounter opportunities, fairness issues in online assessments, disruption of patient interview-based exams, reflections on the role of doctors in society, and mental health-related problems linked to isolation and concerns about infection. In response to these disruptions, educators and institutions have rapidly deployed educational innovations. Schools have adopted educational strategies to overcome these challenges by implementing novel education delivery methods in an online format, providing clinical experiences through simulation or telehealth methods, introducing online assessment tools with formative purposes, encouraging learners' involvement in nonclinical activities such as community service, and making available resources and programs to sustain learners' mental health and wellness. During the COVID-19 pandemic, educators and institutions have faced drastic changes in medical education worldwide. At the same time, the quantitative expansion of online education has caused other problems, such as the lack of human collaboration. The long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on medical education need to be studied further.

분수 나눗셈의 지도에서 단위비율 결정 맥락의 실제 적용을 위한 기초 연구 (Teaching Fractional Division : A Basic Research for practical Application Context of Determination of a unit rate)

  • 분수 나눗셈 알고리즘에 대한 학생들의 어려움 중 상당부분은 현행 교과서의 알고리즘 유도방법 자체에 기인한 것으로 보인다. 본 연구에서는 분수 나눗셈 알고리즘을 유도하는 대안적 방법들 중 단위비율 결정 맥락의 교육적 가치를 분석하고 학생들에 대한 설문과 면담을 통해 그 실제 도입의 가능성을 확인하였다. 또한 이 결과를 바탕으로 분수 나눗셈의 지도 방법 및 교육과정 구성에 대한 대안적 방법을 제안하였다.
