고정 무선중계 망의 간섭 분석을 위한 보호비 계산에 대한 연구 (A Study on Calculation of Protection Ratio for Interference Analysis in Fixed Radio Relay Networks)

  • 본 논문에서는 고정 무선중계 시스템의 주파수 조정을 위한 효율적인 보호비 산출 방법을 제안하고 계산된 결과를 제시한다. 제안된 보호비는 변조방식의 C/N, 잡음 대 간섭의 비(N/I), 다중간섭허용, 다중경로 및 강우감쇠의 페이드 마진, 통합필터 변별도의 함수로 표현된다. 실제 고정 무선중계 주파수에 대해 페이드 마진, 변조방식, 거리 및 간섭을 고려한 보호비를 산출하였으며, 계산 결과에 의하면 BER 10-6 기준으로 6.2GHz, 64-QAM, 거리 60km에 대해 페이드 마진과 동일채널의 보호비는 각각 41.1 dB 와 74.9 dB가 됨을 알 수 있었다. 제안된 방법은 보호비 정정인자를 통해 다양한 변수에 대해 보호비를 체계적 그리고 용이하게 구할 수 있으며, 또한 동일한 개념을 밀리미터파 대역의 무선중계 시스템 주파수 조정을 위한 보호비 산출에도 적용할 수 있는 장점을 지닌다.

여대생의 기능성화장품 구매 및 사용실태와 요구도 (A Study of Consumption Practices and Needs for Cosmeceuticals of Female University Students)

  • The purposes of this study were to research the behavior of consumption and needs about the female university students to provide useful information which would help finding the marketing source of cosmeceuticals. The sample was consisted of 464 female university students who had experiences of using the cosmeceuticals. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, frequency, x2-test, t-test, ANOVA(LSD) using SPSSWIN. The results were as follows: When the female university students purchased the cosmeceuticals, they considered the effectiveness and the price, so were satisfied with good effect and low price. The most important marketing methods in cosmeceuticals for female university students were through the internet and mail order shopping. Whereas, demerit factors of internet shopping were founded to be the complexity of exchange or refund and the little chance of free samples for trial. The good marketing strategies might be sending trial samples, future payment system after trial period, and/or supporting the event held in the university. Besides, it might be a consideration to have an event for the improvement by public trial. Anti-aging cosmeceutical was the most preferred item for female students, sun protection and whitening cosmetics next in order. Therefore, a target customer for cosmeceuticals might be lowered in age. The purchasing cost system and therapeutic effect of cosmeceuticals had to be developed for 20's. It was necessary to be safe and effective. The factors affecting the level of satisfaction for cosmeceuticals could be categorized into 4; market environment, simplicity of purchase, product merit and additional service. The needs for cosmeceuticals showed significant differences according to grade and kinds of product.

무손실 스너버를 이용한 부분공진 스위칭에 의한 고효율 승압형 단상 컨버터 (Boost $1\Psi$ converter of high efficiency by partial resonant switching using lossless snubber)

  • 전력변환 시스템은 소형화, 경량화, 저잡음화를 실현하기 위하여 스위칭 주파수가 증대되어야 한다. 하지만 컨버터의 스위치들은 스위칭 스트레스와 많은 스위칭 전력손실을 동반한다. 이들 때문에 전력 시스템은 낮은 효율을 가져온다. 본 논문에서는 부분공진 모드에 의해 고효율의 승압형 단상 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안된 회로의 소자들은 소프트 스위칭으로 동작되며 이것의 제어기술은 일정 듀티 싸이클에서 동작되도록 스위치군을 간략화 하였다. 부분공진 회로는 승강압에 사용되는 인덕터와 무손실 스너버의 콘덴서를 사용한다. 또한, 이 회로는 종래의 회로가 가지는 스너버의 손실이 없는 스너버 콘덴서에 축적된 에너지를 입력전원 측으로 회생시킴으로서 효율증대의 장점이 있다. 그 결과 스위칭 손실이 매우 낮고 효율과 시스템 역률이 높게 된다. 제안된 컨버터는 전력용 스위칭 소자들이 사용되는 고출력의 응용분야에 가장 적합하다고 생각된다.

  • 초전형 적외선 센서를 제작하기 위하여 rf 마그네트론 스퍼터링법으로 $(Pb,La)TiO_3(PLT)$/$LiTaO_3$(LTO)/PLT 강유전 박막을 증착한 후 급속 열처리하여 열처리 온도와 시간에 따른 결정성을 조사하였다. 강유전 박막의 c축 배향도에 따른 비유전율 및 유전손실을 측정하고 C축 배향도가 가장 큰 강유전 박막으로 제작된 센서에 대해 초전계수를 측정하여 센서의 전압응답에 대한 성능지수($F_V$)와 감도에 대한 성능지수($F_D$)를 구하였다. 얻어진 $F_V$, $F_D$는 각각 $6.15{\times}10^{-10}\;C{\cdot}cm/J$, $1.98{\times}10^{-8}\;C{\cdot}cm/J$였다.

Two-Switch Auxiliary Resonant DC Link Snubber-Assisted Three-Phase Soft Switching PWM Sinewave Power Conversion System with Minimized Commutation Power Losses

  • This paper presents a high-efficient and cost effective three-phase AC/DC-DC/AC power conversion system with a single two-switch type active Auxiliary Resonant DC Link (ARDCL) snubber circuit, which can minimize the total power dissipation. The active ARDCL snubber circuit is proposed in this paper and its unique features are described. Its operation principle in steady-state is discussed for the three phase AC/DC-DC/AC converter, which is composed of PWM rectifier as power factor correction (PFC) converter, sinewave PWM inverter. In the presented power converter system not only three-phase AC/DC PWM rectifier but also three-phase DC/AC inverter can achieve the stable ZVS commutation for all the power semiconductor devices. It is proved that the proposed three-phase AC/DC-DC/AC converter system is more effective and acceptable than the previous from the cost viewpoint and high efficient consideration. In addition, the proposed two-switch type active auxiliary ARDCL snubber circuit can reduce the peak value of the resonant inductor injection current in order to maximize total system actual efficiency by using the improved DSP based control scheme. Moreover the proposed active auxiliary two-switch ARDCL snubber circuit has the merit so that there is no need to use any sensing devices to detect the voltage and current in the ARDCL sunbber circuit for realizing soft-switching operation. This three-phase AC/DC-DC/AC converter system developed for UPS can achieve the 1.8% higher efficiency and 20dB lower conduction noise than those of the conventional three-phase hard-switching PWM AC/DC-DC/AC converter system. It is proved that actual efficiency of the proposed three-phase AC/DC-DC/AC converter system operating under a condition of soft switching is 88.7% under 10kw output power.

Effective Coupling of a Topological Corner-state Nanocavity to Various Plasmon Nanoantennas

  • Topological photonic nanocavities are considered to possess outstanding optical performance, and provide new platforms for realizing strong interaction between light and matter, due to their robustness to impurities and defects. Here hybrid plasmonic topological photonic nanocavities are proposed, by embedding various plasmon nanoantennas such as gold nanospheres, cylinders, and rectangles in a topological photonic crystal corner-state nanocavity. The maximum quality factor Q and minimum effective mode volume Veff of these hybrid nanocavities can reach the order of 104 and 10-4 (𝜆/n)3 respectively, and the high figures of merit Q/Veff for all of these hybrid nanocavites are stable and on the order of 105 (𝜆/n)-3. The relative positions of the plasmon nanoantennas will influence the coupling strength between the plasmon structures and the topological nanocavity. The hybrid nanocavity with gold nanospheres possesses much higher Q, but relatively large Veff. The presence of a gold rectangular structure can confine more electromagnetic energy within a smaller space, since its Veff is smallest, although Q is lowest among these structures. This work provides an outstanding platform for cavity quantum electrodynamics and has a wide range of applications in topological quantum light sources, such as single-photon sources and nanolasers.

Actuator 기법을 이용한 제자리 비행하는 동축 반전 프로펠러 공력 성능에 관한 수치적 연구 (Numerical Study on Aerodynamic Performance of Counter-rotating Propeller in Hover Using Actuator Method)

  • 동축 반전 프로펠러는 기존의 단일 프로펠러와 달리 추가적인 설계 변수의 증가로 인해 실험적 성능평가에 비용과 시간 측면에서 여러 제약이 따른다. 또한 상/하단 프로펠러 사이의 상호 간섭으로 인하여 수치 해석에 있어서도 많은 시간과 자원이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 시간 효율적인 수치해석기법인 actuator 기법을 활용하여 제자리 비행하는 동축 반전 프로펠러의 공력 성능에 관한 수치적 연구를 수행하였다. 상용 CFD 코드인 ANSYS Fluent 결과와 비교하여 해석기법의 정확성을 검증하였다. 해석 변수로는 동축 반전 프로펠러의 축 간극과 회전속도를 선정하였으며, 다양한 조건에서 동축 반전 프로펠러의 공력 성능을 획득하였다. 획득한 공력 성능을 바탕으로 단일 프로펠러와 동축 반전 프로펠러의 제자리 비행 효율 계수를 획득하고, 단일 프로펠러의 성능으로 동축 반전 프로펠러의 성능을 예측할 수 있는 예측 인자를 도출하여 actuator 기법의 활용성을 평가하였다.

탄성균열 해석을 위한 이동최소제곱 유한차분법의 내적확장 (Intrinsic Enrichment of Moving Least Squares Finite Difference Method for Solving Elastic Crack Problems)

  • 본 연구는 균열선단에서 응력특이성을 갖는 탄성균열문제를 해석하기 위한 이동최소제곱 유한차분법을 제시한다. 응력특이성을 유발하는 균열선단 주변장을 모형화하기 위해 근사식에 선단주변함수를 내재적으로 도입하여 이동최소제곱 근사의 틀을 그대로 유지하면서 실제 미분계산을 거의 하지 않고 미분근사를 할 수 있는 이동최소제곱 Taylor 다항식 근사의 장점을 살렸다. 균열문제 정식화시 시간소모적인 적분과정이 필요한 약정식화 대신 해석영역에 배치된 절점에서 지배 미분방정식에 대한 차분식을 직접 구성하는 강정식화를 적용하여 계산 효율성을 향상시켰다. 균열문제 해석을 통해 내적확장된 이동최소제곱 유한차분법이 응력 특이성을 내포한 선단주변 변위장을 정확히 묘사할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 응력확대계수를 정확히 계산 할 수 있음을 보였다.

업소용 가스레인지 버너의 일산화탄소 배출 특성을 고려한 최적 설계변수 도출 (Derivation of Optimal Design Variables Considering Carbon Monoxide Emission Characteristics of Commercial Gas Stove Burners)

  • Commercial gas stoves feed primary air to the burner and burn the fuel-air mixture in a partially premixed combustion. This mechanism produces carbon monoxide during combustion. In this study, design parameters of a commercial gas stove were optimized by considering the carbon monoxide emission. Gas consumption rate, carbon monoxide emission, and water boiling temperature as a heating performance were determined. Carbon monoxide emission was measured using a Korean Industrial Standards standard collector. Water boiling temperature was measured by first soaking the pot in water for approximately 10 min and then heating the pot filled with water. A thermocouple was installed inside the pot. Carbon monoxide increased as the nozzle diameter was increased and the burner-pot height was decreased. This result was due to the insufficient mixing between the fuel and air. Heating performance was enhanced when the nozzle diameter was increased and the burner-pot height was decreased. However, the heating performance deteriorated when the nozzle diameter was 1.8 mm and the burner-pot height was reduced to 50 mm. This phenomenon was due to the formation of a flame on the side of the pot. A merit factor was defined to find the optimal design parameters to satisfy gas consumption rate, carbon monoxide emission, and heating performance. Optimal design values were established to be a nozzle diameter of 1.5 mm and a burner-pot height of 60 mm.

Pre-treatment Nutritional Risk Assessment by NRS-2002 Predicts Prognosis in Patients With Advanced Biliary Tract Cancer: A Single Center Retrospective Study

  • We investigated the predictors of survival in patients with advanced BTC according to their baseline nutritional status estimated by the Nutritional Risk Screening (NRS)-2002. From September 2006 to July 2017, we reviewed the data of 601 inpatients with BTC. Data on demographic and clinical parameters was collected from electronic medical records, and overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival were analyzed using the Kaplan-Meier method and the stepwise Cox regression analysis. Patients with an NRS-2002 score of ≤ 2, 3, and ≥ 4 were respectively classified as "no risk," "moderate risk," "high risk." Following initial NRS-2002 score, 333 patients (55%) were classified as "no-risk," 109 patients (18%) as "moderate-risk," and 159 patients (27%) as "high-risk." Survival analysis demonstrated significant differences in the median OS: "no-risk": 12.6 months (95% confidence interval [CI], 11.5-13.7); "moderate-risk": 6.1 months (95% CI, 4.3-8.0); and "high-risk": 3.9 months (95% CI, 3.2-4.6) (p < 0.001). NRS-2002 score was an independent factor for OS (hazard ratio [HR], 1.616 for "moderate-risk", 95% CI, 1.288-2.027, p < 0.001; HR, 2.121 for "high-risk", 95% CI, 1.722-2.612, p < 0.001), along with liver metastasis, peritoneal seeding, white blood cell count, platelet count, neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio, cholesterol, carcinoembryonic antigen, and carbohydrate antigen 19-9. In conclusion, baseline NRS-2002 is an appropriate method for discriminating those who are already malnourished and who have poor prognosis in advanced BTC patient. Significance of these results merit further validation to be integrated in the routine practice to improve quality of care in BTC patients.
