  • The development of health information technology enables people to access, view and acquire personal health record. But still, there have been a number of obstacles such as the absence of the standard to realize the ideal Personal Health Record(PHR) system. In this study, we proposed the service model that serves periodic Health Record Summary which is made by a medical specialist to people who are in the busy lives. Healthcare data from EMR in a hospital including people generate themselves at home is sent to a physician to make a medical opinion, and then it is changed into Health Level 7 Continuity of Care Document(CCD) format for interoperability. After a physician writes his opinion about patient's health condition, it will send to people by email. People who receive the health record summary data by email can save them into a USB device to view own PHR and medical comments of a physician through a computer. It will help people managing their own health condition with an opinion of a medical specialist.

  • Malfunctions and failures linked to medical devices may result in significant damage for human being. Thus, in order to ensure that safety of medical device is achieved, it should be established and applied the international standard. It is required to integrate and customize activities at standards, owing to reference relationship between standards, especially, activities based safety analysis is too expensive. This paper proposes a integration process that integrate activities of development lifecycle and safety process. Additionally, we derived a guidance based on STPA for integration process. As a result, we can be performed systematically from early stage of the development and increased effectiveness of integration process by the guidance.

  • This study measured and analyzed pressure at each measurement part of imported compression stockings sold in Korea to provide basic information to establish a pressure standard and grade ranking. This study used 40 medical compression stockings imported from 6 countries. Pressure measurements were taken at 11 points: front side and back side of ankle, end-point of the gastrocnemius muscle, front, inner side, back, and outer side of calf, back side of below knew girth, inner side, and outer side of mid-thigh girth, and inner side of thigh girth. AMI 3037-10 and AMI 3037-2 were used for measurements taken inside an environmental chamber at a temperature of $21^{\circ}C$ and a relative humidity (RH) of 65%. For the measurements, 11 air pack sensors were attached to a wooden model leg (Hohenstein) and three measurements were taken at each measurement point in three minutes. The average of these measurements was used for analysis. The findings of this study were as follows. As for the front side of the ankle, of the 40 products, 14 products (6 USA, 2 Swiss, 3 Italian, and 2 Taiwanese) were within the pressure range indicated on the product label; however, no German products fell within the pressure range. A total of 8 products (5 USA, 1 Swiss, 1 Italian, and 1 German) were gradient compression type; however, no Japanese or Taiwanese product were of this type. The majority of products had the highest pressure at the end-point of the gastrocnemius muscle. Only 3 products, 1 USA (Jobst Opaque 30-40mmHg), 1 Swiss (Sigvaris Cotton 34-46mmHg) and 1 Italian (Jobstocking 25-32mmHg), had measurements that met the indicated standard pressure, were a gradient compression type, and met the overall standard for compression stockings.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a management method to maintain the pleasant indoor air quality of the dental clinic by measuring and analyzing the indoor air quality of the dental clinic. The measurement was conducted in two rooms, a lobby where many residents stay in the reception room for waiting for medical treatment, and a VIP room where treatment activities are mainly performed. Measurement items are Temperature, Humidity, $CO_2$, CO, $NO_2$, $CH_2O$, VOC, $PM_{10}$ and measurement were taken on April 27, 2018. As a result of analyzing the temperature and humidity of the dental clinic, it was analyzed that the average indoor temperature was maintained at $25^{\circ}C$ and the humidity was kept at around 50%, maintaining proper indoor temperature and humidity environment. $CO_2$ was 855ppm in the VIP Room, which satisfied the maintenance standard. In the case of the lobby, it was analyzed to be 1,160ppm, which exceeded the maintenance standard and it is judged that the carbon dioxide generated by the respiration of the people staying in the lobby is the main reason. The mean concentration of formaldehyde in the VIP room was analyzed as $436{\mu}g/m^3$, exceeding the maintenance standard, and $2,100{\mu}g/m^3$ for the VOC exceeded the recommended standard. It was analyzed that the concentration was relatively higher due to the use of disinfectant and other drugs. The mean concentration of PM-10 in the lobby was analyzed as $65{\mu}g/m^3$ and it was analyzed that it satisfied the maintenance standard. To maintain a pleasant indoor air quality in a dental clinic it is necessary to minimize the effects of formaldehyde, VOC, $CO_2$ in the VIP rooms and lobby. For this purpose, the entire ventilation system and air purification system of the dental clinic should be installed. In case of the VIP room, local exhaust ventilation should be installed and workers should wear personal protective equipment.

  • In the accessment of the performance of a magnetic resonance imaging unit, there are many parameters to be measured. Such measured parameters are not often meaning by itself. Namely, it need to be compared with some standard. Since there is no gold standard MRI, only can be compared with a worldly renowned product. In this report, we attempted to compare a few MRI parameters for the accessment of the performance of 1 Tesla MRI unit which is domestically developed. Though we did not measure all the parameters related to hardware aspects and software aspects for the full comparison, there few parameters may elucidate some important aspects of MRI unit.

  • This research aims to find a way to utilize the literature to select the herbs to be added or subtracted according to the condition of the patient after determining the basic prescription to be used for the patient. The study is based on data concerning the herbal composition and application of prescriptions described in the Donguibogam. The composition herbs was expressed as a weight ratio, the standard deviation of the weight ratio was calculated for each prescription, and the case where the weight ratio was greater than the base value (highest weight ratio - standard deviation) was designated as a principal herb. The various expressions of applications were changed to representative terms by the researcher and used to calculate the frequency. Of the 4,373 prescriptions for Donguibogam, 3,307 were able to be expressed in terms of weight ratios with 640 prescriptions using Rehmannia glutinosa, Cnidium officinale, Angelica gigas and Paeonia lactiflora as the principle herb. Of the 640 prescriptions, 508 prescriptions included applied information. Rehmannia glutinosa can also be used for symptoms such as fetal leakage(胎漏), short ingestion(食少), fever(發熱), dazed expression(眼花). Cnidium officinale can also be used for symptoms such as migraine(偏頭痛), stroke(中風癱瘓), tetanus(破傷風). Angelica gigas can also be used for symptoms such as forgetfulness(健忘), incontinence of urination(小便不通), palpitations(驚悸). • In the medical field where artificial intelligence technology is introduced, research related to clinical decision support system(CDSS) in relation to diagnosis and prediction is actively being conducted. In particular, medical imaging-based disease diagnosis area applied AI technologies at various products. However, medical imaging data consists of inconsistent data, and it is a reality that it takes considerable time to prepare and use it for research. This paper describes a one-stop AI learning platform for converting to medical image standard R_CDM(Radiology Common Data Model) and supporting AI algorithm development research based on the dataset. To this, the focus is on linking with the existing CDM(common data model) and model the system, including the schema of the medical imaging standard model and report information for multi-center research based on DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) tag information. And also, we show the execution results based on generated datasets through the AI learning platform. As a proposed platform, it is expected to be used for various image-based artificial intelligence researches.
