Purpose - The purpose of this research is to verify mediation effects of finance stress within relation structure between income inequality recognized by the elderly and life satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology - In order to achieve the purpose of this research, we investigated recognition of income inequality of the elderly, finance stress and life satisfaction by using examination data aimed at 541 elderly people whose age is over 65 living in Chungcheongbuk-do. We conducted reliability, correlation, regression analysis_(tolerance limit and variance inflation factor) by using SPSS ver. 18.0. Results - From the result of analysis, it was proved that there are mediation effects of finance stress within the relation between income inequality recognized by the elderly and satisfaction with life. Based on this result, we suggest practical and political proposals to increase life satisfaction of the elderly. Conclusions - The purpose of this research is to verify mediation effects of finance stress in the relationship between income inequality and life satisfaction recognized by the elderly. From the result of research, first, a direct effect was discovered that as income inequality becomes high, life satisfaction will be decreased. Second, partial mediation effect of finance stress was confirmed in the relationship between income inequality and life satisfaction.

Background: This study investigated the effect of increased job stress, caused by musculoskeletal disease (MSD) among firefighters, on a firefighter's intention to leave the profession, henceforth referred to as "turnover intention," and verified the moderating effect of mindfulness on such a relationship. Methods: A survey involving a total of 549 Korean male firefighters as participants was conducted herein, and the following results were obtained: the mediation effect of the MSD to turnover intention through job stress was confirmed, and the indirect effect of job stress was verified. Results: We verified the moderated mediation effect of mindfulness on the relation:MSD, job stress, and turnover intention. The conditional indirect effect for middle and high levels of mindfulness is significant. Conclusion: The result of this study is supported by proofs of the relationship between a firefighter's MSD, job stress, and turnover intention, and these case studies reveal the moderated mediation effect of dispositional mindfulness.

Using a sample of third grade middle school students from the forth wave of Children and Youth Panel Survey in 2012, the mediation effects of private educational expenditure between parenting styles and children's academic performance were investigated by applying factor, cluster, tobit, and two stage regression analysis. The major results were as follows. First, four types of parenting style were identified. The most frequent parenting style was ambivalent parenting (tiger parenting) which was followed by authoritative parenting. Second, compared to permissive parenting style, ambivalent, authoritative, and authoritarian parenting styles were significantly associated with more private educational expenditures. Third, more private educational expenditures were significantly associated with higher academic performance of children. I found both a full mediation effect of private educational expenditure for ambivalent and authoritarian parenting styles, and a partial mediation effect for authoritative parents. Authoritative parenting style has a negative moderating effect on the relationship between household income and private educational expenditure, along with a positive direct effect on the academic performance of children. The results suggested that an authoritative parenting style was related with higher academic performance of children with less private educational expenditures compared to other parenting styles. The results also implied that the public policies to enhance authoritative parenting style among parents would be effective to reduce household's private educational expenditures.

This paper deals with the effects of teamwork competence on problem solving ability through the mediating effect of creative personality for the engineering students. For this purpose, a regression-based statistical mediation analysis has been performed for a simple mediation model in which teamwork competence and problem solving ability were treated as independent and dependent variables respectively, and creative personality was included as a mediation variable. The analysis results showed that the teamwork competence has direct effect on the problem solving ability as well as indirect effect through the creative personality. This result implies that the problem solving ability can be improved directly by improving the teamwork competence, and moreover, it can be further improved indirectly or through the mediation effect by improving the creative personality. Thus, in order to develop excellent problem solving ability, it is necessary to form team members in a balanced way between teamwork competence and creative personality in the team-based learning.

Holonic manufacturing systems have been recently presented to meet the various needs of customer rapidly. Holonic manufacturing systems consist of several holons which may perform decision making for the achievement of their objectives. Holonic manufacturing systems are characterized by cooperation and negotiation among holons. The problem of conflict can be occurred during communication between holons. Then the negotiation is required for the holons. This paper deals with a mathematical model for the mediation of negotiation between holons in the holonic manufacturing systems. In this paper an evaluation function for mediation is modeled using the utility function.

This study investigated the improvement level of communication ability by mediation method using Cheap Talk in four severe Broca's aphasia patients, who have more difficulties in expression than comprehension. In the preliminary and post test, making nutritious rice dish and vegetable pancakes were performed. In the mediation stage, the activities of going to markets, making kimchi and bean paste soup were performed and script activities were performed in the first week and activities using picture cards were executed in the next week by turns. The results of this study were as follows. First, the communication functions of all subjects were improved under all of the courses using Cheap Talk. Second, the method of mediation by using picture cards showed higher communication functions than the method of mediation by using script activity with the use of Cheap Talk.

This survey of 659 mothers examined maternal childrearing attitudes of over-protectiveness vs. active involvement and restrictive and/or evaluative TV/Video viewing mediation in relation to children's emotional, cognitive and social development. Data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. Maternal over-protectiveness was highly associated with children's negative emotionality and maternal active involvement with children was the most important determinant of children's positive development. Furthermore, appropriate parental mediation of children's TV/Video viewing was related to children's higher cognitive and social ability as well as positive emotionality.

This tutorial introduces procedures and methods for performing structural equation modeling using R. To do this, we present advanced analysis methods based on structural equation model such as mediation effect analysis, moderation effect analysis, moderated mediation effect analysis, and multiple-group analysis with R program code using R lavaan package that supports structural equation modeling. R is flexible and scalable, unlike traditional commercial statistical packages. Therefore, new analytical techniques are likely to be implemented ahead of any other statistical package. From this point of view, R will be a very appropriate choice for applying new analytical techniques or advanced techniques that researchers need. Considering that various studies in the social sciences are applying structural equations modeling techniques and increasing interest in open source R, this tutorial is expected to be useful for researchers who are looking for alternatives to existing commercial statistical packages.

This study seeks to determine the research trend of late adolescents by utilizing big data. Also, seek for research trends related to activity participation, treatment, and mediation to provide academic implications. For this process, gathered 1.000 academic papers and used TF-IDF analysis method, and the topic modeling based on co-occurrence word network analysis method LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) to analyze. In conclusion this study conducted analysis of activity participation, treatment, and mediation of late adolescents by TF-IDF analysis method, co-occurrence word network analysis method, and topic modeling analysis based on LDA(Latent Dirichlet Allocation). The results were proposed through visualization, and carries significance as this study analyzed activity, treatment, mediation factors of late adolescents, and provides new analysis methods to figure out the basic materials of activity participation trends, treatment, and mediation of late adolescents.

This study analyzes the various roles of social value in the consumption value model in China's mobile e-commerce environment. This is because customers in the Confucian culture area are highly influenced by others in their consumption behavior. However, there has been no consideration of these opinions in the consumption value model. In particular, it was analyzed whether social value has a moderated mediation effects in the path of economic value on customer loyalty. As a result of analyzing 228 pieces of data collected in China, it was found that the economic value is increasing customer loyalty through the entrance of shopping malls, and this indirect effect is affected by social value, and there was a moderated mediation effect. This study is theoretically meaningful in that it is newly elucidating the role of social value in the consumption value model.
