표고버섯(JNM3022) 톱밥재배에 적합한 배지조성과 배지크기 (The optimum media size and composition for sawdust culture of Lentinula edodes (Strain: JNM3022))

  • 표고버섯(J NM3022) 의 톱밥재배시 적절한 배지크기 및 배지조성을 구명하기 위하여 '05년부터 2년동안 시험결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 표고버섯 톱밥재배를 위하여 배지길이와 직경이 다른 12가지 크기의 배지를 이용하여 배양기간, 배양완성률을 시험한 결과 가장 적절한 배지크기는 길이 25 cm ${\times}$ 직경 14cm, 무게 2.5 kg 배지였다. 소나무톱밥의 포화수분함량은 495 $m{\ell}/100g$으로 침 나무동밥 251 $m{\ell}/100g$보다 약 2배 많았다. 참나무톱밥 100% 등 10조합의 배지조성 중 균사생장속도와 균사일도가 가장 좋았던 배지조성은 참나무톱밥 80%+밀기울 20%와 참나무톱밥 80%+미강 20% 처리였으며, 가장 적합한 배지수분함량은 55%였다. 배양기간을 단축하기 위하여 배지중앙에 유공관을 설치하였을 때 무처리에 비하여 길이 20 cm 배지는 11일, 30 cm 배지는 32일을 단축할 수 있었다. 배지표면 갈변화에 가장 좋았던 처리는 $10^{\circ}C$ 정도의 변온과 봉지천공으로 갈변 소요기간은 35일로 동일조건의 무천공처리에 비하여 54일을 단축시킬 수 있었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop of porous media for water treatment. It was made of porous media which was sinteringed on a comparative low temperature 600$\circ$C, was annexed slag (media-s) and humus soil (media-h) with material, only material kaolinite(media-k). In order to examine the characteristics of physical-chemical were used to sem, x-ray. The results of study are given porous size on media-h which was able to water treatment.

Dispersion Polymerization of Acrylamide in Methanol/Water Media

  • Dispersion polymerization of acrylamide was carried out in the media of methyl alcohol/$H_2O$ mixtures using hydroxypropyl cellulose and ammonium persulfate as steric stabilizer and initiator, respectively. The effects of concentrations of initiator and steric stabilizer, amount of monomer, polymerization temperature, methyl alcohol/$H_2O$ ratio, and purification of monomer and nitrogen purge on the particle size of the latices and molecular weight of the polymers were investigated. The average particle diameter increased with increasing concentration of initiator, water content in methyl alcohol/$H_2O$ media, and polymerization temperature, but decreased with monomer and stabilizer concentrations. The viscosity average molecular weight increased with increasing concentrations of monomer, steric stabilizer, and water content in dispersion media, but decreased with initiator concentration and polymerization temperature. The PAM polymers prepared with the purified monomer and the nitrogen purging before the reaction showed the highest molecular weight.

탄산칼슘 담체를 이용한 폐수내의 인 제거 (Phosphorus Removal from Wastewater by CaCO3 Media)

  • In this study, the applicability of $CaCO_3$ as a seed material for crystallization reaction was tested. $CaCO_3$ was ground to lesser than 425 mesh and was made to media mixed with binder. Batch experiment was to investigate the ${PO_4}^{3-}-P$ removal efficiency of different parameters such as $CaCO_3$ dosage and binder ratio, size, type and mass of media. In addition, the effect of phosphorus removal from wastewater was tested using a lab-scaled crystallization reactor. At the results of the batch test, phosphorus removals were improved with increasing $CaCO_3$ dosage and media mass but were decreased with increasing media size. Moreover, phosphorus removals were influenced by specific surface area but media type. The average T-P and ${PO_4}^{3-}-P$ removal efficiency in a lab-scaled crystallization reactor with $CaCO_3$ media for wastewater were shown to be 60.2% and 60.3% for 18 days of operation time.

Organizational Usage of Social Media for Corporate Reputation Management

  • The paper aims to investigate the relationship between firm size and organizational actions on adopting social media for corporate reputation management. The sample group of 198 companies is selected with a simple random sample method from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) listings: Sixty nine companies were from the Fortune 500 listings, seventy one companies from the NYSE midsize capitalization and fifty eight companies from the NYSE small capitalization listings. This study employs cross tabulations and Chi-square analysis, and the Kruskal-Wallis that enables the comparison of three samples that are independent. The results of the study show that (1) large firms have more social media ownership than small firms, (2) large firms respond to social media posts at a greater frequency and quickly than small firms, and (3) firm size is less likely associated with response styles to social media for online reputation management. The results show that reply time and response styles of organizations to social media customers in the 2015 survey has no significant change compared to that of 2011. There appears to be a pervasive lack strategic framework as most firms in the study were found not to be adequately monitoring or leveraging social media communication for their reputation management.

배지종류, 셀크기 및 비료종류가 호접란 플러그묘 생장에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Media, Cell Sizes and Fertilizers on the Growth of Phalaenopsis Plug Plants)

  • The effects of media, cell sizes and fertilizers on the early growth of Phalaenopsis plug plants were investigate. The sphagnum moss was more effective than other media in pink and white color cultivars. In comparison of different plug cell size, 50 cell size was more effective then 72 and 128 cell size in pink and white cultivar. In comparison of different fertilizer, margamf K in pink, and nutrient solution II(one time drenching with NHRI standard solution for three times irrigation) in white color cultivars was more effective then others, respectively.

  • Belief propagation (BP) is a commonly used global energy minimization algorithm for solving stereo matching problem in 3D reconstruction. However, it requires large memory bandwidth and data size. In this paper, we propose a novel memory-efficient algorithm of BP in stereo matching on the Graphics Processing Units (GPU). The data size and transfer bandwidth are significantly reduced by storing only a part of the whole message. In order to maintain the accuracy of the matching result, the local messages are reconstructed using shared memory available in GPU. Experimental result shows that there is almost an order of reduction in the global memory consumption, and 21 to 46% saving in memory bandwidth when compared to the conventional algorithm. The implementation result on a recent GPU shows that we can obtain 22.8 times speedup in execution time compared to the execution on CPU.

  • Most previous studies, in general, related to housing needs have analyzed the data from self-administered survey or interview using questionnaire or simple 2D floor plan. This study was Intended to suggest how to increase the reliability and effectiveness of such survey methods in examining the residents' housing needs. In order to accomplish the purpose, the two kinds of surveys using Web based VR media and typical questionnaire were peformed. The same questions were used for these two surveys, and they included the furniture characteristics, use of each room, adjustment of room size, preferences for interior colors, preferred furniture in living room, space layout of floor plan, housing life style, and preference for housing characteristics. The answer differences between these two were analyzed. The subjects were 402 housewives who lived in apartment houses in Haeundae, Busan. Finding were as follows: first, the media method was more likely to be effective than typical questionnaire survey in explaining housing needs for the adjustment of room size in housing unit plan. Second, the media method was more realistic and reliable than the other in comprehending the needs for the interior colors. Last, the VR media tended to be more effective than the other in understanding the space layout of floor plan. This research sheds light on the utilization of visual instrument for the analysis of needs related to space use.

  • As a case study on aspect ratio behavior, Kaolin, zeolite, $TiO_2$, pozzolan and diatomaceous earth minerals are investigated using wet milling with 0.3 pai media. The grinding process using small media of 0.3 pai is suitable for current work processing applications. Primary particles with average particle size distribution D50, ${\sim}6{\mu}m$ are shifted to submicron size, D50 ${\sim}0.6{\mu}m$, after grinding. Grinding of particles is characterized by various size parameters such as sphericity as geometric shape, equivalent diameter, and average particle size distribution. Herein, we systematically provide an overview of factors affecting the primary particle size reduction. Energy consumption for grinding is determined using classical grinding laws, including Rittinger's and Kick's laws. Submicron size is obtained at maximum frictional shear stress. Alterations in properties of wettability, heat resistance, thermal conductivity, and adhesion increase with increasing particle surface area. In the comparison of the aspect ratio of the submicron powder, the air heat conductivity and the total heat release amount increase 68 % and 2 times, respectively.

고속 스토리지 탑재에 따른 데스크탑과 스마트폰 환경의 페이지 크기 영향력 분석 (Impact Analysis for Page Size of Desktop and Smartphone Environments under Fast Storage Media)

  • 최근 고속 스토리지의 출현으로 메모리 시스템의 관리 단위인 페이지의 설정에 대한 재고가 필요한 시점에 이르렀다. 본 논문에서는 고속 스토리지의 탑재에 따라 페이지의 크기가 메모리 성능에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 구체적으로는 데스크탑과 스마트폰 환경에서 페이지 크기에 따른 워크로드별 TLB 적중률 및 페이지 부재율을 분석하였다. 본 논문의 분석 결과 데스크탑 시스템에서는 페이지 크기의 영향력이 시스템 및 워크로드 상황에 의존적임을 확인하였다. 반면, 스마트폰 시스템의 경우 고속 스토리지가 탑재되더라도 페이지 크기가 메모리 성능에 미치는 영향이 크지 않으며, 워크로드에 따라서도 민감하지 않은 것을 확인하였다. 본 논문의 분석은 고속 스토리지 환경에서 페이지 크기를 시스템 및 워크로드 환경에 맞게 최적 설정하는 데에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
