반도체용 시간식 질량유량계의 특성에 관한 연구 (An experimental study of the time based mass flow controller for semiconductor industry)

  • The objective of the research is to design, manufacture and test a Mass Flow Controller(MFC) capable of measuring compressible fluid flows based on a "bucket and stop-watch"method. The basic principle is the measurement of time, where the time taken to fill and empty a bucket of known volume is measured. This method of flow measurement is a new concept when compared to a commercilized current mass flow controller. For the flow meter to be able to compete with established designs it not only must be comparable in cost and robustness, it must be very accurate and reliable as well. This device should be able to handle fluid flows in the range of 0.1ml/min to 10ml/min within an accuracy of ${\pm}$1%. A possible application for a device such as this is in electronics industry where arsenic gas is used in the production of silicon chips.

  • As the industry of 21C has been developed, the gas industry has grown and it has not only the convenience but also the riskiness for using. Therefore, we designed the outlet to prevent from collapse of booth by the explosion pressure in installing the explosion booth for test in order to train safety supervisors the riskiness of gas explosion. The outlet was designed based on the exhaust model of NFPA 68.

천장 전등패널 기반 로봇의 주행오차 보정과 제어 (Control and Calibration for Robot Navigation based on Light's Panel Landmark)

  • In this paper, we suggest the method for a mobile robot to move safely from an initial position to a goal position in the wide environment like a building. There is a problem using odometry encoder sensor to estimate the position of a mobile robot in the wide environment like a building. Because of the phenomenon of wheel's slipping, a encoder sensor has the accumulated error of a sensor measurement as time. Therefore the error must be compensated with using other sensor. A vision sensor is used to compensate the position of a mobile robot as using the regularly attached light's panel on a building's ceiling. The method to create global path planning for a mobile robot model a building's map as a graph data type. Consequently, we can apply floyd's shortest path algorithm to find the path planning. The effectiveness of the method is verified through simulations and experiments.

A Study on Bi-metal 3D printing Technology Development based on Laser Technology

  • Additive manufacturing(AM) can create complex shapes directly in 3D CAD models with internal geometry compared to conventional subtraction manufacturing. AM technology has the advantage of adopting various materials as well as the reduction of material. However, the high cost of AM is still a significant barrier preventing the wider adoption of AM in industries. This paper analyzes the technical application cases for solving these entry barriers and proposes a bi-metal 3D printing technology as an anticipated application to overcome the difficulty. The paper investigates the complications for current 3D metal printing technology to conduct bi-metal 3D printing and addresses ongoing solution research based on laser technology.

  • In this paper, we propose a modified back-stepping control method in view of the dynamic model of mobile manipulator has the nonholonomic constraints, these constraints should be considered to design a tracking controller for the mobile manipulator. The conventional back-stepping controller includes the dynamics and kinematics of the mobile robot systems. and the modified adaptive back0stepping method is applied to constructing the controller. The proposed controller can realize the tracking trajectory of the reference path. The efficiency and robustness of this control method is demonstrated by the simulation.

레이저스케너 센서기반의 칼만필터 관측을 이용한 사람이동예측 (Estimation of People Tracking by Kalman Filter based Observations from Laser Range Sensor)

  • For tracking a varying number of people using laser range finder, it is important to deal with appearance/disappearance of people due to various causes including occlusions. We propose a method for tracking people with automatic initialization by integrating observations from laser range finder. In our method, the problem of estimating 2D positions and orientations of multiple people's walking direction is formulated based on a mixture kalman filter. Proposal distributions of a kalman filter are constructed by using a mixture model that incorporates information from a laser range scanner. Our experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of our method.

  • The product developed in this study is a ceramic catalyst filter for 1 ton heavy-oil boiler that can simultaneously process dust and nitrogen oxides. This has been developed for simultaneous processing of nitrogen oxides and dust at high efficiency of hot exhaust gas (approximately $300^{\circ}C$) generated after burning 1 ton heavy oil boiler. Ceramic catalytic filters for 1 tonne heavy-duty glass display are technologies that remove 90% of dust and 85% or more of nitrogen oxides. This is an improved new technology to integrate exhaust ventilation and desiccation devices into one, thereby reducing the production process and improving the economy. To this end, the performance test of the catalytic filter for heavy oil boilers was carried out, and the durability of the PLC circuit was constructed.

인공지능을 이용한 휴머노이드 로봇의 자세 최적화 (Optimization of Posture for Humanoid Robot Using Artificial Intelligence)

  • This research deals with posture optimization for humanoid robot against external forces using genetic algorithm and neural network. When the robot takes a motion to push an object, the torque of each joint is generated by reaction force at the palm. This study aims to optimize the posture of the humanoid robot that will change this torque. This study finds an optimized posture using a genetic algorithm such that torques are evenly distributed over the all joints. Then, a number of different optimized postures are generated from various the reaction forces at the palm. The data is to be used as training data of MLP(Multi-Layer Perceptron) neural network with BP(Back Propagation) learning algorithm. Humanoid robot can find the optimal posture at different reaction forces in real time using the trained neural network include non-training data.

연마제 재활용을 위한 분급장치 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Classifier for Recycling of Abrasive)

  • For process improvement and cutting down on expenses in solar cell industry, it is necessary to improve recycling process of wafer manufacturing. In this research, a study is introduced to develop classifier which is for recycling of abrasive. First of all, recycling process of wafer manufacturing is analyzed. And then, 3 steps of experiments such as oil removal, impurities removal and classification were executed. For the classification of slurry, a classifier is designed and manufactured. From experiments, it is verified that ultra sound vibration and flux are very important factors for classification. By experiencing the recycling processes and making devices, the technique can be initiated industry if needed such as decreasing waste and cutting down on expenses.

  • In this paper, we presented the experimental basis for the theoretical background and robustness of the Convolutional Neural Network for object recognition based on artificial intelligence. An experimental result was performed to visualize the weighting filters and feature maps for each layer to determine what characteristics CNN is automatically generating. experimental results were presented on the trend of learning error and identification error rate by checking the relevance of the weight filter and feature map for learning error and identification error. The weighting filter and characteristic map are presented as experimental results. The automatically generated characteristic quantities presented the results of error rates for moving and rotating robustness to geometric changes.
