정밀 레이저 디버링을 위한 어쿠스틱 에미션 피드백 (Acoustic Emission Feedback for Precison Laser Deburring)

  • Sensor feedback for process control is one of the essential elements is an automated deburring procedure. This paper presents the implementation of acoustic emission (AE), which has been developed as a feedback sensing technique for precision (mechanical) deburring, in a precision laser deburring process. AE signals were sampled for laser machining/deburring under various experimental conditions and analyzed using several signal-processing methods including AErms and spectral analysis. The results, such as the sensitivity of AE signals for different laser cutting depths, edge detection capability and the frequency analysis show a clear correlation between physical process parameters and the AE signals. A subsequent control strategy for deburring automation is also briefly discussed.

시간지연 시스템을 위한 리아푸노브 이론 기반 상태 피드백 제어기 설계 (Design of Lyapunov Theory based State Feedback Controller for Time-Delay Systems)

  • This paper presents a new state feedback control approach for communication networks based control systems in which control input and output observation time-delay natures are generally occurred in practice. We first establish a generic state feedback control framework based on well-known linear system theory. A maximum time-delay value which allows critical stability of whole control system are defined to make a positive definite Lyapunov function which is mathematically composed of controlled system states. We analytically derive its control parameters by using a steepest descent optimization method in order to guarantee a stability condition through Lyapunov theory. Computer simulation is numerically carried out for demonstrating reliability of the proposed NCS algorithm and a comparative study is accomplished to prove its superiority for which the traditional control approach for NCS is made use of under same simulation scenarios.

  • The spherical CVT, intended to overcome some of the limitations of existing CVT designs, is marked by its simple kinematic design, improved efficiency of the shift actuator, and IVT characteristics, i.e., the ability of smooth transition between the forward, neutral, and reverse states without the need for any brakes or clutches. And it has been promised much possibility of energy savings and various applications for small power capacity machinery. Due to the nonlinearity of the spherical CVT shifting dynamics, however the original open-loop system is inherently unstable. Hence a feedback controller is necessary to make the system stable and to achieve effective tracking performance. To do this, we designed a feedback controller that cancels nonlinearities and transforms the original nonlinear system dynamics into a stable and controllable linear one, based on the input-state linearization method.

촉각센싱기반 거칠고 젖은 표면 파지가 가능한 생체모사 로봇용 그리핑 기술 개발 (Development of Bioinspired Robotic Gripping Technology for Gripping Rough & Wet Surfaces based on Tactile Sensing)

  • High shear adhesion on wet and rough surfaces and tactile feedback of gripping forces are highly important for realizing robotic gripper systems. Here, we propose a bioinspired robotic gripper with highly shear adhesion and sensitive pressure sensor for tactile feedback systems. To achieve them, we fabricated multi-walled carbon nanotube sensing layer on a thin polymeric adhesive layer of polydimethylsiloxane. With densely hexagonal-packed microstructures, the pressure sensor achieved 9 times the sensing property of a sensor without microstructures. We then assembled hexagonal microstructures inspired by the toe pads of a tree frog, giving strong shear adhesion under both dry and wet surfaces such as silicon (42 kPa for dry and ~30 kPa for underwater conditions) without chemical-residues after detachment. Our robotic gripper can prevent damage to weak or smooth surfaces that can be damaged at low pressure through pressure signal feedback suggesting a variety of robotic applications.

In this intelligent control system, a feedforward neural network and a fuzzy feedback mechanism are adopted to achieve a constant milling force with an adjustable feedrate under a variety of cutting conditions in milling operations.

우주왕복선 액체로켓엔진 작동의 최적출력제어 시뮬레이션 (Optimal Output Feedback Control Simulation for the Operation of Space Shuttle Main Engine)

  • 본 논문에서는 다단 연소방식의 액체로켓엔진인 우주왕복선 주 엔진(Space Shuttle Main Engine, SSME)의 제어 알고리즘을 다룬다. 이를 위해 SSME의 각 구성품들을 기준으로 크게 7가지 분류로 나누어 구성하여 수학적 모델링을 하였으며 순항상태 추력을 기준으로 Rated Propulsion Level (RPL)에 따른 정상상태 작동점을 구하였다. 폐루프 시스템을 위하여 순항상태인 RPL 104% 조건에서의 선형모델을 이용하여 최적 출력피드백 LQR 제어기 설계를 하였으며 시뮬레이션을 통해 제어기의 성능을 검증하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 쌍선형 함수를 이용하여 연속시스템의 상태공간에서 설계된 폐 루우프계로 부터 이산시스템의 피이드백 게인행렬을 얻을 수 있는 디지탈재설계법이 제안 되었고, 크레인의 실시간 제어를 통해 본 연구에서 제안된 디지탈 재설계법의 유 효성을 확인했다.

  • 본 연구에서는 유연한 로봇 조각기를 허브가 있는 첨단질량이 부착된 유연한 외팔보로 모델링하고 Hamilton의 원리에 의하여 유도된 운동방정식을 Galerkin의 모우 드 합 방접을 이용하여 유한차원화하여 상태방정식으로 표시하였다. 계를 제어 모우 드부(controlled mode part)와 잔류 모우드부(residual mode part)로 나누어 제어 모 우드부에 대해 최적제어 이론을 도입하여 귀환계수(feedback ccefficient)를 구하였으 며 측정이 불가능한 상태변수(inaccessible state)를 근사적으로 추정하기 위하여 Lu- enberger 관측기가 사용되었다.2차 성능계수(quadratic performance index)내의 입 력에 대한 가중치의 변화에 따른 제어효과 및 계의 여러 모우드중 중요 모우드만 제어 하는 제어기를 사용함에 따른 Spillover 효과가 계의 제어효과에 미치는 영향을 시뮬 레이션을 통하여 고찰하였으며, 또한 실험을 통하여 이론의 타당성을 검토하였다.

비최소위상 상쇄계를 가진 시스템을 위한 주기소음의 적응 역 궤환 제어 (Adaptive Inverse Feedback Control of Periodic Noise for Systems with Nonminimum Phase Cancellation Path)

  • An alternative inverse feedback structure for adaptive active control of periodic noise is introduced for systems with nonminimum phase cancellation path. To obtain the inverse model of the nonminimum phase cancellation path, the cancellation path model can be factorized into a minimum phase term and a maximum phase term. The maximum phase term containing unstable zeros makes the inverse model unstable. To avoid the instability, we alter the inverse model of the maximum phase system into an anti-causal FIR one. An LMS predictor estimates the future samples of the noise, which are necessary for causality of both anti-causal FIR approximation for the stable inverse of the maximum phase system and time-delay existing in the cancellation path. The proposed method has a faster convergence behavior and a better transient response than the conventional filtered-x LMS algorithms with the same internal model control structure since a filtered reference signal is not required. We compare the proposed methods with the conventional methods through simulation studies.

정량적 피드백 이론을 이용한 유압 로드 시뮬레이터에 관한 힘 제어계 설계 (Design of Force Control System for a Hydraulic Road Simulator Using Quantitative Feedback Theory)

  • This paper presents the road simulator control technology for reproducing the road input signal to implement the real road data. The simulator consists of the hydraulic pump, servo valve, hydraulic actuator and its control equipment. The QFT(Quantitative Feedback Theory) is utilized to control the simulator effectively. The control system illustrates a tracking performance of the closed-loop controller with low order transfer function G(s) and pre-filter F(s) for a parametric uncertain model. A force controller is designed to communicate the control signal between simulator and digital controller. Tracking specification is satisfied with upper and lower bound tolerances on the steep response of the system to the reference signal. The efficacy of the QFT force controller is verified through the numerical simulation, in which combined dynamics and actuation of the hydraulic servo system are tested. The simulation results show that the proposed control technique works well under uncertain hydraulic plant system. The conventional software (Labview) is used to make up for the real controller in the real-time basis, and the experimental works show that the proposed algorithm works well for a single road simulator.
